lies! Slanderous lies! C'mon now, we quit. We didn't merge with GI. With that being said, I just came back a couple days ago and suspect that you might start seeing other people with the Goof Troop tag in the days/weeks prior to 3.0 launching.

Hey Cath, welcome back I'm still around. My commando is still in GT. There's certainly a lot of new faces and pvp has died down a lot recently it seems like. Solo ranked does still pop every now and then. Hit me up in game or on steam. My wildstar account was hacked so I won't be logging into that game anymore
Cool, ill hit you up whenever i end up logging in. I jumped in ascendancy's mumble, Hot's and Spliffy were playing WoW and Vara said he still logs in but doesnt play much. From what they said it sounded like Harbinger is pretty much void of all old skool players, minus people in WoX, whats left of Ascendancy, and some people scattered about here and there in various guilds. Also sounded like ranked is dead. Not going to lie, its going to be an adjustment not getting 2 min queues for ranked like in Wildstar. However, I have almost a month of sub left so might as well not waste it. How are queues on PoT 5 and Bastion? I think I still have toons on PoT 5 but I'm not sure if I left them there or transferred them back to Harb. Anyways, I'll D/L SWTOR tonight and hit you up in the next day or two. Take care bro

So I just realized I'm still subbed to this game!! Anyone still play? I looked on the forums and didn't see too many familiar names. However, I did lol about the Chuckles bowtie comment in the 2.0 records thread and that GI is apparently still reg starring it up. I think I saved the Chuckles pic from back in the day, will have to see if I can dig it up. Anyway if anyone still plays (you know if I'm referring to you) and its not just a bunch of randoms floating around, I might come back for a bit since I apparently still have a sub for almost another month. Anyway if this applies to you then chime in. But I'm sure most of my friends, if they still play, are prolly banned from the forums by now.

What's also funny is you're probably one of them rejects from a pvp server that can't compete because well you suck? Honestly no one on this server has room to talk about who's better or not. I hate to say it but regs doesn't really mean anything and doesn't give you the right to talk crap. regs are for fun and for you to go in there and learn your class, objectives mean nothing no a days that 8v8 Ranked is gone, so MAYBE if BW still had 8v8's I my self and plenty other ppl would take regs more seriously, but thats not the case, so if you do end up destroying me or other ppl in ranked, thats great., Im glad you're having fun. But i can give a **** if i lose or not in regs and I'm sure the other ppl feel the same way that used to Que for ranked every night in the past like Deadweight, Goof, and Ascendancy, Full Resolve, Krusty Krab. If you REALLY want to talk ****, it should be 100% easier to get a ranked team going now a days since its only 4 ppl. no excuses. So i don't want to hear all this **** about "Q ranked cuz yall n*ggas suck"
For those of you that thinks Goof never ques ranked. You're wrong. They used to Que a lot in the past but because of the population things have changed. And if you end up losing to the same ppl all the time. what kind of fun is that? so yeah ppl will stop queing for ranked. People think that either Vossen/Ascendancy hates everyone and thinks were better, but thats not it either. We actually have nothing against anyone and actually get a long with everyone, expect for maybe 1 person (but we wont mention names:D) but ppl get butt hurt cuz we wont Invite them to guild well here are the reasons:
1) Deadweight inv'ed everyone and their mom to the guild and everyone became "Friends" and didn't to Que against each other. so Adroit was made to break that
2) Same thing that happened with We Haz Cookies. So many ppl in the guild and no one wanted to make another team and que against them. So Lukewarm Tauntauns was made.
3) Adroit had its differences so the Krusty Krab was made.
4) when you have to many ppl in the same guild. everyone wants a spot in ranked, and if they don't get in, they hate you.
5) We want to encourage ppl to start and make their own team so they can prove that they can actually do something except talk trash
6) There's prolly other reason too, but im kinda stoned
This game isn't that big to have 150+ good players in one guild. just doesn't work like that anymore. There needs to be more guilds out there and ppl to start making friends and learn to play with each other. SO THATS WHY WE DONT TAKE IN EVERYONE IN OUR GUILD. its not that we don't like you. its just were never going to have you in ranked so whats the point? if you want to be friends and do regs together thats what a friends-list is for.
Also for you ppl that think all the competition is gone LOLOL you're funny. if you really want to know most of the "competitive sh*tty players" left this server recently or in the past because they couldn't beat the 1 team on this server.... who does that? LOL "Yeah theres no competition here on Harbinger even tho i lost 150+ games and only won 4 max" prolly the best logic i have ever heard. The ones that left this server to do ranked on other servers came back because they realized that its not really that different from here to pot5 or bastion. its the same damn thing with the same equal communication. just more games and more coordination thats all. all those servers do is Solo ranked. which is kinda pointless. Solo ranked is nothing compared to group ranked and everyone knows it. completely different meta
So lets not talk **** about how theres no one good to play against. lets try and work things out and make ranked happen again. stop all this drama **** unless we really want to have fun on the forums:D

-8v8's were out
- and when rating reset and arenas started for real.

Pvping in the harbinger is as competitive as a leap frog game for a 2 year old. Seriously people "IT'S A PVE SERVER" no one cares how mediocre or good you think you are in pvp. You guys are a joke in pvp compare to the rank teams on pot5,bastion and tofn.
Now run along and finish your weekly on your flashpoints jajajajajajajaja

My favorite is when you end up against a goof troop premade in regs, stomp them, then have them tell you to queue for rateds. GG.
You do realize that a premade consists of four players on an eight man team right? So "the premade", which consists of four, has no control who they end up with as teammates?
If that event happened, the players involved were probably upset or disgruntled over their teammates performance. Have you never lost a football, baseball, and/or basketball game because a teammate or PUG made a bonehead play? It's frustrating to say the least. Some people take EVERYTING seriously. So losing a competition because of someone else's decision, especially one who was not in the "premade" , is frustrating to say the least.
Did your group queue up for 4v4 after? I mean just to at least determine which group consisted of the better players? I know it's just a video game, so why take it so seriously; right? Well, in my opinion (and only my opinion), if you can't take something as simple as a video game seriously; then how could you possibly take anything of importance in life seriously?
Just my thoughts on the subject...................

In all fairness I've found the ranked matches, and lack of them, much more competitive on the Harbinger than on pot5 or bastion. This isn't because I think the Harbinger is better or anything like that. Its simply the fact that on those servers EVERYONE queues for 4's/solo. Because of this you play with/against a good amount of bads. Where as on the Harbinger hardly anyone queues so the matches USUALLY consist of the servers better players. Again not saying harbinger has better or worse players than any other servers. I'm just stating my observations, and providing my logical reasoning that supports my statement.

Forgot to mention this, but, I dont think 1000 expertise is mathematically possible because of bolster. Also, I am the first or one of the first to say gg to the other team after a good match. Same goes for teammates, when someone (not from a major pvp guild) plays well I always send them a whisper to let them know. Or when I see a new player with potential make a noob mistake I give them advice in a whisper. I DONT belittle them in general chat. Do I talk craps to the other team? Yes. But guess what. Its like anything competitive, when the opposition isn't focused on the goal then they are less likely to achieve it. So I'm not entirely sure where this "bad attitude" statement stems from.
Also signatures are nice, instead of anonymous crap talking, just saying

I'm pretty sure the quality players, that belong to other guilds than Goof, would disagree and/or take offense to that statement. There are still a lot of great players, both imp and pub side, on the Harbinger. Are there as many as there used to be? No. But, there aren't as many subscribers as there used to be either. I apologize if you dont like my attitude and I in no way speak for or represent anyone in Goof. However, at the end of the match there is no "attitude stat" column. The ONLY stat that matters on the leaderboard is a "W" or "L". Maybe you should work on getting some more of the "W's" and less on your cinematography

The reason I still play on this server isn't because of "easy wins" actually, as of late, I hardly log in because the player base is so poor.
The reason I play on this server Is mainly because I enjoy playing with my friends. However, if you're willing to pay for my toons to transfer servers, and my friends toons, then I will GLADLY link my PayPal info

And before Psi would of even posted a youtube vid, which would start a whole new round of the above. Gawd I miss "The Harbinger". Guess it's time we all sing kumbaya by the camp fire together while watching re-runs of the "Carebears"

I am sure everyone as seen a certain guild spamming the fleet and trying to recruit for 4v4 arenas. I wont say the name of the guild but lets just say it rhymes with "Dud Stars". Has anyone ever seen this guild in an arena? I know I have asked them numerous times to put together a team so we can queue but the only response i get is more spam about their recruitment for 4v4 arenas. Was just bored and wondering if anyone else noticed this recently?

I was kinda curious who "Tidusamy" is since there is no signature so I ran a quick forum search.http://www.swtor.com/community/search.php?searchid=4450269 It turns out that 50% of all the threads started by this individual bash Goof Troop in one way or another. Now this is only the threads started by this person, and not the numerous posts it has made. What happened? Did a member of Goof run over your cat or something? If so I apologize on their behalf.
Relax, It's a video game ffs. Yeah people in Goof are rude sometimes. Guess what? People in every guild are rude sometimes, I've seen way worse raging in raid than I ever have in a WZ. Also, a lot, if not most, members of Goof are rather friendly. Did you ever think the person who was rude to you was having a bad day? Not that it's an excuse/reason but I'm sure you've had bad days yourself so I would assume you can relate. I mean FFS you in this thread http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=683987 you go as far as calling Kuvox a "total jerk" on the forums. Kuvox is probably one of the most courteous people I've played with. Sure he can get mad but who doesn't.
The bottom line is that as it stands 4v4 isn't popping. No one queues because the wait is too long or there are just the same teams playing. But the wait is too long and only the same teams are playing BECAUSE no one is in queue. So the only way I see 4v4 working is if more people start to queue regardless of winning or losing. Once there is enough people queuing on a regular basis the problem of always facing a team that has a higher skill lever should work it''s self out.

Seeing as 8v8 is gone, and who really cares about records in regs unless its some absurd objectives like 30k+ and stuff like that. I suggest this thread gets changed to reflect 4v4 records.

I didn't know that Hatred even queued for ranked? How do you find the time between trying to troll and losing pve server firsts?
I'm going to guess that you are mad because you lost to a Goof Troop team that consisted of two healers and two smashers, am I correct? If this is true, and by your own account this team is retarted, what does it say about yourself?
I for one would reevaluate my strategy if I were to lose to a team consisting of "mentally challenged individuals"
