Again, I am not some stupid retard who's just gotten their first computer and doesn't even know how to turn it on. Outside of MS only applications there is NOTHING running on this box at the present time. No other software other than MS applications and SWTOR. NOTHING!

He has a valid point. A gimmick is not going to save this game, we need systems in place that most current MMOs already have.

The system is pretty rubbish though.

 

Why leave it as it is, which is basically another grind for most people that don't level with specific people 100% of the time.

 

The system I guess was supposed to encourage social behaviour.... it doesn't. It just encourages flashpoint grinding.

 

I agree if you want the stuff it is a grind, However it is a very nice side system for friends/couples leveling together. Good idea just needs to be tweaked.

They are called static groups. Many people have done this over many MMO. Nothing new.

The best way to gain affection with your companions is to have them with you during quest NPC conversations. Gifts work a bit but they are not free.

 

Tell me about it. I spent 50k just to get her to max. I am guessing I do need to progress story to get more conversations. I always go to planets cantinas and summon her just in case.

So I showered one of my companions with gift to get max affection. I did all convos but no more seem to be popping up. Do I need to use the companions in convo with NPC, or will more open up as I progress in the game?

The drivers are not hardware. You can use the Naga without the drivers, and the keys are what they are labeled. The drivers allow for the macro functionality, and they are on the software side of it.

They are fine to use. The Razer Hex even has a SWTOR coming out along with a keyboard, guess what software they use?

 

Many people play many MMO with mice like the Razer, and even keyboards like the G15. Nothing wrong with using them.

I like range classes, I want a light saber, Jedi can not get married(I am not going to break that lore cause it just sticks to me), so I play one. I also play a Jedi Sage , an Imperial Agent, a Jedi Knight, and a Gunslinger.
