  1. What happened in Patch 1.2 that destroyed the Operatives and Scoundrels? Before when it used to be "oh crap an Operative, better be on serious guard"... you know, the way pvp should be, a challenge....

     

    To beat down a fully BM geared Scoundrel, oh he's going after the med pack... I'll let him get in, he gets it heals back up to almost full, I /dance with him, he attacks me again, and I rofl stomp him.

     

    Then I get jumped by an Operative in a different game, hmm, this is gonna suck I say to myself, except it didn't suck, it I didn't even have to burn any cool downs.

     

    These are all the same players, same names that I've encountered dozens of times before... what did patch 1.2 do to screw that class over? (the healer side of the class are doing better though)

     

    Did it ever occur to you that YOU were better then them? problem solved THANK YOU

  2. Maurader's maraud, Sorcerer's cast spells, Juggernauts are unkillable tanks. Snipers? they run around up in your face and poison you, place some probes and call in orbital strikes. Engineer is more appropriate don't you think? maybe alchemist; or they could make the viable marksman we all signed up for at level 10.

  3. they better not put it any more valor gear considering they handed it to imperials for nothing

     

    Quit QQ'ing, Imps get geared faster simply because there's more of us then Pubs. While its unfair, you have to get over it or re roll imp like every other pub

  4. anybody else encounter this where the speeder will be glitched when you respawn and not appear? ctrl+u twice to fix the UI doesn't help.

     

    another bug i've encountered is when you hit the speeder to go but it doesn't move you anywhere you and you get stuck. /stuck sometimes works

    Yeah then it kicks you from the WZ and when that happens i get PM's saying im a "*********** noob quitter" pardon my french but im just quoting the verbal abuse i receive from other players.

  5. It's pretty sad when a BH can get chained stunned 6 times in a row.

     

    Stuns,KB and interrupts need to have a cool down timer on the player that receives them. you can only be stunned or KB once every 60 secs..

     

    This game right now is STUN WARS not Star Wars..

     

    Resolves fine on my 50 BH bro, but i have to agree that the PvP in this game pretty much boils down to what class can stun lock the longest. STUN WARS FTW!

  6. Are people even sure this is how the "Kick"-feature will work? I believe I've read something on the subject, that if a person is being reported as AFK that will initiate an automatic check" to see if the player is doing something. If that player isn't, he/she will be kicked from the Warzone.

     

    This might just be the fictions of my imagination, as I can't seem to find the post stating it right now. I can find that people will be able to "vote kick" though. Well, I guess we'll see how it pans out.

     

    People will still exploit that, your logic is flawed

  7. well only juggernaut, marauder, mercenary, assassin, healers need a nerf, the rest need a buff

     

     

    All those classes are fine, just because they roll you in pvp dose'nt mean there overpowered.

    And snipers are fine they hit up to 3.5k criticals at level 10 what more do you want.

    I completely agree. Basic attack damage at level 1 is pretty good with Bolster, and if they work as a team they'll do fine.

     

    Let's start being able to queue for warzones at level 1, level 10 is too long of a wait!

  9. title says it all. The only thing that can "force" people to roll republic is the incentive of getting to play WZ's more than once every hour. It is BS that the side with the highest population gets to gear up and earn valor vs themselves. That makes no sense. Or let people have same faction wz's for slow times but they dont count for daily and valor and comms. Just for fun.

     

    No one from the imp side is going to reroll pub bro, i tried it and i got bored with in 30 mins don't get pissed because everyone likes the empire and hates the republic, cause honestly the republic storyline is like watching a really bad chick flick.

  10. In case you were unaware, Bioware and EA are large enough that they can implement bug fixes AND create new content at the same time. They are not focusing on one or the other, we're lucky they can do both, and we're lucky we keep the two sections seperate. What a bunch of whiners.

     

    I'm not whinning in the least bit BRO, im just one pissed off and dissatisfied customer when they have yet to address the current pvp bugs and exploits, but they're talking about adding new pvp content that just dose'nt sit right with me so take your trolling *** someone else, post on some other thread.

  11. How to fix faction imbalance. Add more empire vs empire warzones, when that is the thing that screwed up balance in the first place.

     

    People would have rerolled at the drop of the hat when they had hour long queues.

     

    BRILLIANT BIOWARE. Better pve (more people), better pvp (more GOOD players to choose from especially when rated warzones hit), clownstomping the outnumbered republic on Ilum in "World pvp", and now more empire vs empire warzones.

     

    SUHWEEEEEEET.

     

    i dont really care if theres a faction imbalance lol i like killing imp's because most of them piss me off and killing them gives me satisfaction

    Biowares not going to address how messed up the warzones are? LOL theres a long list of things that need to be fixed, but whats bioware doing adding new PvP content.This would be a awesome but they need to fix the current bugs and *********** exploits

  14. First let me start off by saying that yes it has been done in countless other MMO's but is that a bad thing? Is it terrible to use a proven system that works and does exactly what Bioware is trying to accomplish with the changes to full demodable gear. The answer in one word, No.

     

    First reason why crafted orange gear is a terrible idea, Crit crafted orange gear. Yes there are other posts about this exact issue and yes I agree with them completely, assuming the set bonuses are attached to the armoring then yes a crit crafted orange item will always be better than its epic raid gear equivalent. If it does not attach itself to the armoring or any part of the gear then you are back to square one, classes with actually good set bonuses will have to wear the raid gear as opposed to the crafted gear. So under one system all players have to wear orange gear even if they want to wear the raid gear for better stats, and under the alternate if they wanted to wear a full set of orange gear but also needed a set bonus they couldn't do it.

     

    Another reason crit crafted orange gear is bad is alternate orange gear. Bioware you've already put orange gear in the game in fact you have a system in place which pretty much the only items you can get for it are orange item. Yes I am talking about the social system. Maybe I want to wear the slaves clothing but the guy who is wearing 5 pieces of crit crafted gear automatically gets 140 more of their main stat due to the augment slots. Basically all that gear that you've put in the game is useless, absolutely unusable with crit crafted orange items in the game.

     

    Another issue which is completely not addressed is what if I found a blue or a green that I think looks amazing what if that's what I want to wear instead of raid gear, or an orange item. This new system doesn't in any way allow a player the 'full customization' which you think it will.

     

    All in all it's just another system that someone else thought of once and used, and since it isn't a brand new idea Bioware won't include it in there revolutionary MMO. I mean look at their auction house system. They worked off of an existing idea which they twisted and changed until it was a shadow of its former self. I think the underlying theme is duplicating an already proven system isn't admitting defeat nor is coming up with something new a success, and if you don't realize this by now I'll let you in on a little something... Swtor has a dim and dismal future but on the bright side it will be a short future.

     

    So stop thinking so much and over-complicating things that should be simple, because 90% of the time the simple answer is the best one. If you want to be ambitious later, go ahead. I'm not saying that copying existing ideas is the best course of action, if that were the case we'd never get anything new. But I would suggest on future ventures you take an outside look at an idea, separate yourself from it completely -your ego- and find the faults in it.

  15. This is a bad thread. Everyone actually agrees on the premise. The question is "how much of an advantage should you gain from PvP" gear.

     

    In my opinion Battlemasters should be 17.5% ahead of PvE groupers and 12.5% ahead of raiders in PvP. Battlemasters should be 12.5% behind raiders in Raids. Casual PvE should be 17.5% behind raiders in Raids.

     

    i don't agree, because expertise makes horrible pvp'ers feel like there god because they have the better gear, take expertise out because the gear is still pretty good without having expertise.Or make a que for expertise only, this would also help the newly leveled 50s

    People who dedicate 75% or more of there time in game to pvp just to get the gear and strategies down in the warzones.Now have all there hard work and time spent absolutely dumped on because?

     

    Players that hit 50 and didn't spend any of there time pvping are getting beat beacuse they don't have any gear

     

     

    NO CRAP ! You didn't spend anytime toward it why would you expect to be able to compete against people who spent a majority of there daily time online even before 50 pvping?!

     

    Time and time again I see people with valor ranks less than 20 WHINING and crying in the warzones about getting beat by people who were better geared.

     

    NEWS FLASH - ....DUH

     

    What about the countless number of people who are geared in pvp and barely have any Columi/Rakata gear!? I only have 2 pieces of PVE Gear - So someone who's pvp'd twice or maybe 3 times with no pvp gear

     

    BUT - A full set of columi gear can hold there own agiasnt a person who's valor 65 and worked extremely hard just to get geared out in battlemaster gear.

     

    Thats ridiculous I agree that people should be on a level playing field in PVP but they should HAVE TO WORK FOR IT JUST LIKE WE DID.

     

    Handing them a free ride doesn't fix the fact that they didn't put in the time and I know this is long winded but GIVE ME A BREAK this is BS

     

    LOL you cant stack up on champ bags for when you hit 50, i recently got one of my alt's to 50.I pvp'd from 45-50 and i thought you could also, well turns out you can only buy one champ bag at a time, so your logic is flawed

  17. 600 expertise here. Only way i can even get close to 5k down is popping an adrenal, relic, and grabbing the powerup.

     

    My crits on the high end are more like 3.9k. Then its all down hill after that.

     

    Yea i can stunlock newbs (luckily most sorcs ARE noobs) But the few good ones there are have no problem dispatching me.

     

    Thing is once sorcs get better and figure us out we will be worthless.

     

    Bounty hunters are cake, interrupt their 1 button noob spam and they get pwned.

     

    Troopers now, what a joke. I can hit them max 2.2k and they can just stand and hell through all my dmg an interuppts. I dont even bother any more.

     

    LOL I face roll op's all the time since the nerf and i play as a BH your logic is flawed you tool go ***** about something worthwhile."Boo hoo my class got nerfed" it needed nerfed when someone can 4 shot me in a matter of seconds thats overpowered
