And several hundred thousand players complained about the difficulty, challenge, and time required to level in Everquest.... but they did that complaining for years while they paid subscriptions to play. TOR, and its simple brethren are chock full of people who rave about how accessible it is, and then they, and their $15/month, are gone in 3 months.
Hyperbole. Link the data that shows people quit after 3 months.

I know. All posts are helpful, community minded, for the benefit of the game and all players. That's why I read the forums. It has made me a better player. Same reason I ALWAYS pay attention to general chat.

I didn't buy the security key expecting to use it once a week. I bought it to tighten security on my account. If it is that much for you to enter, I suggest you uninstall the game.

How about OP gets nerfed? Sorry not everyone in-game is up to your high standards, but calling for nerfs is not the answer. Group with people that you deem "fit" and move on. It isn't affecting you. You aren't the standard to which things need to be balanced. Many players are new. Many players are leveling a new class. As a previous poster said, many couldn't care less about end game and are playing to have fun. Unless you are paying their way, it's none of your business, troll.

Mob density, use of stuns -- too high.
Pathing to objectives looks like someone in Grade School designed one of those crayon puzzles where you try and find the way out.
Start is unexplainably far from base.
Worst thing - LEVEL 6 NODES. SERIOUSLY. MAKEB HAS 9s IS IT THAT HARD?
IMO - MINIMAL effort was put into this entire planet (if you call it a planet, it's like a Star Trek Online planet).

I just go with Swatter, having been here since launch. Very relevant given all the BUGS.

Try running the game in XP Service Pack 3 compatibility mode. Right click the Launcher icon, select properties, then compatibility. This is actually recommended y the support staff for machines that struggle. Doesn't hurt to give it a shot. I could list reasons why this helps, but it's only relevant that it does.

I love how this company rips off WoWs ideas, but not enough to be remotely close in quality. This is a big failure, and I urge you all to support people dropping arenas.
I can go log into WoW right now, queue for an arena and get it instantly and separately from an objective-based pvp map (of course Blizzard provides quite a larger scale of battle as far as team size). The reason it is instant is because they group servers into a queue and call them a Battle Group. Evidently, that level of expertise doesn't exist with the clearly inferior development squad here.
TLDR: If you are going to copy WoW, please copy it in its entirety, because their game actually works.

I have had healers, tanks and dps drop the FP for this reason. Some people haven't done the FPs before, and a couple members pull their speeders at the start and take off. This is really annoying. I think people should either run the FP, or all agree to speeder around it all BEFORE starting. Expecting people who haven't run it to know where you went off to on your speeder is extremely rude, especially if they've waited for the queue.

Not surprising. At least it's more up to date than the help system, where when asked a question, it provides 49/50 useless unrelated answers.
Additionally, the forums don't work quite right either. If you forget to login, see a thread you want to respond to, then login, it drops the thread after login and you have to select Forums/General again and then locate the thread.

This is almost certain. Blizzard has been streaming patches and updates for a long long time with no problems. They use BITS (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) which is a Microsoft product. I imagine they paid for the licensing to be able to use it, and EA probably did a cost comparison with BitRaider and went with that instead.
Boggles the mind.
Btw, I live in the capital city of Wisconsin and Have a 30 Mbps fiber internet connection and it took 10 hours. People need to understand, it isn't their internet connection or speed, because Bioware is throttling down on their end to get more users on their bandwidth.

Blizzard has been using BITS for a long long time. It downloads patches and fixes in the background while you play.
My guess is, BioFAIL wasn't allowed to buy a license for an actual program that works properly OR the developers simply aren't competent to set it up.
Result is 10+ hour down times - I REALLY APPRECIATE IT TOO. I CAN'T TELL YOU IN FRENCH OR GERMAN BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE UNITED STATES, HOWEVER, I HAD TO SUFFER FOR SOMETHING I DON'T EVEN NEED.
Thanks so much, from all of us affected. We get a real look at why Mythic shuts down games.

Seriously mate? You blame BW for you poor download speed? I understand there are alot of things to be said about this game that is not nice, but this it not one of them.
Granted it takes time to download the game, but then again it is quite a large game.
A little under 4 hours is the time I have to wait for a complete game download and install, and thats ok with me. Besides its not like one has to download the game every day.
So no, I dont demand any apology, and you sir, should consider getting yourself e better download speed somehow and quit crying about something that is out of BW control.
Actually, you can be on the backbone itself. It doesn't matter what YOUR connection is. Since Bioware is throttling the d/l speed, it has nothing at all to do with anyone's connection. Keep reading your "Time Warner Cable' book.

This is a very easy fight.
1) Ignore the big bad Hutt
2) If you don't smash him out of position, the laser fires straight ahead. Avoid it.
3) Kill a couple refueling droids and when the shield drops, destroy the left console
4) Repeat for right console
Now he is a simple 55 elite. Heroic Moment should see you through.
I have beaten this first try on 6 toons.

I have 14 toons, 12 are level 55. I did 1 space mission right after launch and have never done one since. And whatever they add, I won't even look at. With all the bugs this game has and continues to aggregate after each patch, my feeling is time is better spent fixing things that don't / have never worked, and not enhancing an area that I seriously doubt a majority of players use.

Make it an easy fight. You must deactivate the generators behind him. Kill robots and they will drop an item to deactivate 1 side of the shield. Repeat on other side and The Archon becomes a regular elite 55.

Is it impossible for you guys to have a consistent time for maintenance? You're starting 2 hours later this week. Is it just random? There isn't a way to plan ahead for things because of this. There may be off-peak times, but the servers are not empty. Some people play during the maintenance hours.
I don't see how changing the time and often the day accomplishes anything but ill will. Also since you almost always go over scheduled time, starting later is a bad idea.
I realize this is your first MMO, but FFS it's been running a while now. How about some consistency?

So totally wrong there. I have lots of games on PC and can't wait to get my hands on the Playstation. My son owns a PC and an Xbox and he plays both. In fact, I know so many people who have both and play both.
This. Prime example is D3 from you know, the company that actually treats its players well.
D3 on PS3 is fun as all hell, and fun on the PC as well. Many friends of mine play both versions.

I pay for multiple accounts, and NONE of them is buying another Cartel Coin until this is rectified. All of the people playing that I pay for can earn credits via dailies and don't need anything from the Cartel Market anyway.
Nice job of pissing on long -time subscribers. You will gain people who sub for a month then go back to Preferred. You will lose substantially on long-time supporters of this game.
The person that thought this was a good idea is an idiot.
