  1. I love the talk about the game not being finished and people beta testing and blah blah blah. I've been hearing the same complaints since 1996 in EQ. No MMO is "finished" they're evolving games that a player should always expect to change. No one is perfect. Every time something new is implemented there are likely to be issues. Get used to it, and be thankful money, time, and effort are poured into it to try to make it even better.
  2. "Cancelling because the game is unfinished" Translation..."It's winter, and it's cold out, so I can't mow, I can't rake, I can't wash my parents car, I can't do any of the normal stuff I do for my allowance, so I have to quit."

"Unfinished" is so incredibly amusing. These games evolve, they are never finished.

  3. If you do a /who for people under 10 you will notice more players are coming into the game.

A vast horde or people are coming, and even if people quit dozens will take each persons place.

    Cya.

Thats a great point. I would suspect for every one QQ that goes home to Azeroth 10 new people will come online. BW must be quivering.

  4. Oh Hai! I played a game for 2 weeks and I am quitting because even though this game was designed to be played for years I know everything in the 2 weeks I played. I got my instagratification and I am onto the next 2 week game.

Quitting the game before your subscription even starts says it all. It's not like wow and I want my wow.....

    But....but....wow is gonna have pandas!

  5. This game is not without its faults, but I'm honestly loving it. I think my expectations were reasonable and I can handle the bugs so far.

Same here. I'm a long time gamer and knew what to expect from a game less than a month after launch. Did my research before I dropped the dough and had realistic expectations. I have been very very pleased thus far.

  6. In the days of Everquest you'd find many guys playing chicks because they would essentially be rewarded by other players. Chicks in MMO's in those days were very rare. So every acne faced fat kid facerolling the keyboard would get a digital woody at the notion that the person you're powerleveling or whatever was a chick irl who thought you were just the most powerful character evar!!

I used to say MMORPG was an acronym for Many Men Online Roleplaying Girls.

I have no problem with playing female characters, in fact my first toon was a female Sith Inq. I'm of the school of thought that, given the choice, I'd much rather stare at the backside of some little female hottie than some giant muscular dude.
