You'll have gear in no time. Just make sure to do dailys and weeklys, illum and wz. Then grind for coms to by bags as you can.
Also you'll feel the improvement with every piece you get, at least I did. GL!

I'm a healer and I just think it's a bit much that I am tagged even after respawn. We as healers all expect to be focused, but to have a big tag over us the whole match, that's ridiculous. All that is needed is one in ops calling out the healers name, vent, or by typing. The big icon makes it too easy for the opposition.
If it must stay at least make it so they need to tag us again at respawn. Silly you can see us coming from a mile away with the raid markers... give us a fair chance to setup again after death.
I'd love to hear from a Dev to see if this system was intended for pvp use.

Marking healers is necessary because classes do not have enough visual differentiation.
One lightsaber? Could be a Sorc, but also a Jugg. Highly armored dude? Could be a Merc, but also a Powertech. Thin guy with a rifle? Might be an Operative, but also a Sniper.
There was no doubt when I saw a priest in WoW that he was a priest. I could even tell if he was a shadow priest or not just by a glance. TOR has none of that, so marks are needed.
When you see a healer, well, healing, that may be a sign.

Having a big tag above your head, that is made for raiding, the entire game is an exploit and not a team issue. Keep it if they must, but even after respawning?
I don't understand why it would stay after death. just another of many silly design decisions by BW.

so if lag is the issue why does it allow all those speeders? Also I can cast dot on friendlies in fleet. Why?

This is the true answer: Bioware doesn't know how to develop an MMO.They never considered that people would want a dueling area in the fleet, so they didn't add one.

It let me duel on the fleet lower level by FP entrances. Don't understand why you can not on main level.

The debuff is great actually.
When I join a warzone with three players at 10,280 HP. I can now leave immediately, so I don't have to carry useless scrubs. Now I have a debuff to prevent me from re-queing into that warzone and hopefully, meaning i don't accidently requeue with them.
Or as a stealth class, i can just AFK.

How about a quiter stat. kinda like the opposite of valor, it would be like a badge of discrace all could see when inspected.
Ruining reps may have the desired effect.

IF you cant take being marked, roll something other than a healer lol. You are going to get focused whether you are marked or not
Ok, by this logic it should be no problem to take the marking ability away in pvp.
That's all th OP is asking and i agree. We already have a big target on our heads being healers, why have a freaking icon over our head as well??

Also better schematics drop from hm fp's and ops. These schems can be superior to the vendor bought ones.

in any sport where not too many money are involved people can easily buy a match just paying some players... it's wrong everybody knows it but if the league is "unimportant" enough it's not even worth the money to investigate it.
I personally blame the people rather then blame BW... I mean you have to be really a ****** person if you think it's all right because they don't go through the process of punishing you.

I'm a healer and almost always get at least 1 mvp. -
I've seen this on my server, it is about as lame as it gets. I just take note of people and guilds who participate and spread it around, eventually these lamers will get a rep and everyone will know they cheated and deserve no respect.
As a guild we forbid doing this to our members and if anyone is caught they will be kicked. We also try to disrupt the trading if possible.
I guess it's just the way kids are today, everyone wants a reward without putting in the work. Sad really, and it does ruin the game for those that do not want to cheat.

I've noticed the bubble-butt on some of my friends too, all jedi knights. They really should fix it, it looks simply absurd and I always laugh when i see it. Jedi knights should not have shelf-asses. (so glad I went jedi consular)

I agree there should be a hood up or down option.
It should be easy to make it work. I usually have hide head slot checked in preferences but today I changed it so it it would show headslot and the hood disappeared and the hat appeared on my head. I go back to set it to hide head slot again and poof the hood is back.
It seems if they can replace hood with hat then they should be able to replace hood with nothing on head. Maybe it doesn't work so well on other char models or something but if they really cared about clipping and graphical glitches then they would have fixed all the butt clipping and jedi knght bubble-butt issues.
I hope they do add it soon.

Anyway....
I've seen the magenta crystal on sale on gtn (republic side) for 350k on my server(prophesy of the five). It seems one guy on rep side is crafting them, i plan on buying one when i have a spare 350k on me. close enough for now.
Marking healers with raid icons need to STOP!

We know.....but why do you need a big marker that says "Attack here!!!"
