  1. And you keep asking the same question, the answer was provided in that other thread with a link.

Ask the moderators if they will undelete that thread so you can have a look.

Oh you mean the link to some player forum and a back water site that has nothing to do with EA or Bioware. I thought that was a joke.

I just looked at a website that said the Moon landing was not real and lizards disguised as aliens are talking over the world. Must be true ha ha ha ha

  2. Here is the pvp gameplay at lv50.

    * Sitting next to the pvp vendor on either the "rep fleet of imp fleet.

    * Playing the same "4 warzones"

    Or PvE

    * Dailies..... hahaha , I love do do the same garbage every single day...

    * Operations "Beaten"

    * Flashpoint...lol "Who cares about tier 2 pve gear, when operations drop tier 3/4"

That is endgame in a nutshell.

Welcome to the world of MMO's.

  3. Not that I believe him and think its a total guess. But do you actually think there are more subs than that?

The game can be fun and still needs a lot of work for the future. Can I stick around long enough for a merge is the question. Im trying here, really struggling but hopefully I can pull it off.

I don't know, nor do you or the other guy posting made up numbers as facts.

  4. What killed SWTOR and brought it below 400k subs:

    Arrogant, incompetent lead developers.

    Simple as that.

You have posted this same comment in like 10 threads now and still have not provided the official numbers from EA / Bioware. Stop making things up for attention.

  5. trust me when i say this. Once you hit 50 you will be like...ok what now? Spaming chat for lfg for fp's gets old in 5 mins and good luck finding a guild that's willing to take you because they enjoy pve...and dont get me started on the pvp lol.

To answer your question..whats killing swtor? simple. biofailware and EA. At least from what ive read that swg lasted many years..doubt this will see 2 years game time let alone 1.

Never had this issue on my server, I run multiple HM ever night and raids at weekends. Sure some servers have low populations but that's down to all the people who cried for more servers in week one due to que times.

PvP during peak hrs on my server is also very, very active.

  6. That's what I expected this to be. That's what everyone sort of expected this to be. That, coupled with all the voice acting and cut-scenes. This was supposed to be THE game. What we were given, however, is an unfinished, unevolved WoW clone. I would happily trade in all the time I played on this game (which is quite a lot) for one weekend of SWG.

No we didn't, We all knew it was going to be a theme park MMO not a sandbox years before it came out.

I would like some aspects of SWg but most of it was terrible and broken, combat based of buffs not skill, bugs from day one that lasted 8 years, unbalanced and broken classes.

People forget the mess that was SWG before it got scrapped.

  7. cant wait a couple of months? re-roll and reach 50 in two weeks...

do about 10 minutes of pvp and voilah - your caught up

So one huttball match or 1 pvp match, this is rally bad advise not based on any truth.

Wait for server transfers so you can keep your loot, Legacy level etc... unless your toon is poorly geared, never done a HM or raid etc.. then follow this guys advice.

  8. Completely inaccurate. I have shadows set at high and have since launch. I was on a Full pop server with a queue and ran around on starter planets and the fleet with hundreds of people. I've never had an issue with it.

Now, many MANY people do have graphics issues in the game due to shadows. I'm not denying that. But your first statement is just flat-out wrong. Plenty of people play with shadows on high, it just takes a good computer (and maybe some luck).

Agreed, never had this issue nor has any guild member mentioned it, the only people I know that have got issues with shadows are people running the game on older rigs or rigs not made for gaming.

  9. So the third guild I have been in has gotten a guild bank. Once again the only way I can get anything from it is to find an officer or the gm and request permision to get the item I want.

This makes no sense to me, I actually ended up leaving a good guild over issues regarding it. Mostly it was how the gm approached the issue when I raised it in guild chat but the gb was the catalyst.

I have biochem as a crew skill so I spent 3 and half hours making lower leveled consumable that I put in the bank. Only to find that no one but the gm could pull them out.

I guess I have a different idea of how to use the gb then the majority seems to.

Start your own Guild then or build up trust with your currant Guild, Like most guild leaders they are not going to give permissions straight away to people who are new to the guild or guild hop like yourself.

    Its all about trust.

  10. SO frikin what? They launched in the US with features that players want included from the start.

SWTOR is 6months old now and has 0/3.

Those are the facts, all Im saying.

Except a good story and decent game engine. I played it the other day and I wont be going back. All the bad reviews it has been getting are bob on.

Terra would have been good back in the 90's.

  11. Actually, you can still be infected from rakghouls in FPs and on Taris, so it's not just from people who still had it.

However, it is still in the game because they said it would still be in the game. There is also still the vaccine in the game. It's just a part of the game. They also said (or so I keep hearing but have yet to see an actual quote) that they are considering adding a vendor on fleet for the dna.

The infection from Taris is totally different and does not spread or make you exploded is just a de-buff, nothing more.

  12. I know a lot of people (myself included) have felt like patch 1.2 was essentially fluff and features that should have been available at launch.

As such, my guild agreed last night that we're quitting unless we get new content in May. Particularly with Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2 on the horizon. Now granted - James Ohlen himself has promised there will be monthly updates:

I suppose we'll have to wait and see. I'm certainty not holding my breath. Swtor currently feels very dull and static. For a Raiding Guild - we collectively were not impressed by EC. Though it's a step in the right direction from the abomination that was Tier 1.

Anyone else feeling the same regarding 1.3?

Nope because I'm not new to MMO's and understand how they work, Im also having lots of fun on TOR and would not be so petty to drop a game because an update does not come out when I want it to.

  13. As of 1.2, this makes your character completely bald!

There are a few more options for hoodless armor (I'm personally loving the chest piece from the Legacy vendor), but there's still no hood toggle, and the hood models have been changed to look sillier than ever.

I know lol, I just noticed that. My toon is bald but with huge sideburns.

    I opened a bug ticket.
