  1. If you're running Vista or 7, I would scrape up a couple of bucks and add another 2GB of ram. It will make a noticeable difference.

I am running 7, yes. I presume it would be wise to buy the same I have now, or wouldn't it make much difference?

I will also look at upgrading my internet connection with the supplier. Is my graphics card good enough?

  2. Thanks, I took my PC to a computer shop I knew when I had an issue before so may ask them again to help ref this.

In terms of cost I would love to buy a new PC but if it's cheaper to buy new hardware I guess that's the viable solution. Just got turned down for finance on a beast of a PC too, seething.

  3. Hi Guys, I appreciate my title is somewhat obscure, however I am looking to buy a new PC given mine doesn't appear like it has much longer left, it runs SWTOR OK, but does take too long to load the main menu, flashpoints, new planets, NPC's on the occasion and can also take a while to load conversations, all the while negatively effecting a smooth and pleasurable game play experience. My PC is more than capable of running it, however I am requesting your help in obtaining the spec for running SWTOR on good graphics, and other higher end settings such as detail etc, as I really want to enrich my game play. What should I look for in terms of PC Spec?

    I currently have:

    Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4GHz

    Memory - 2048MB RAM

GFX Card - NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT

I am not very technical minded as you can tell, but would it be possible to simply upgrade the above 3 items or would there be other issues I have to take into account, and is it worth just buying a new PC in that event?
