Yes, it is feasible. If you do lots of dailies, you will have rakata implants/earpiece, campaign relics, and (close-to) tionese everything else. This is enough to stomp storymode ops. Storymode ops can get you full columi, which is enough to get through Denova and TFB.
It's feasible, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Yup, your reason for stopping makes sense. And handling the interrupts is truly irritating. And it should have been in the patch notes. And they shouldn't be changing the encounter at this point anyway.
You were just making it sound like this change made the encounter much more difficult, which is really not true. The change is very very manageable.
-
Seriously? Guilds which had this encounter on farm GAVE UP when faced with these new changes?
We haven't even beaten the encounter: we came back in here to try to get our first kill, and ran into the new mechanics. It took us about 3 attempts to work out a reasonable strat, at which point we stopped wiping on this phase and continued to try to finish the encounter.
Tank+sentinel on 1: no calibrations get off ever.
Three dps on 2: no calibrations get off ever, and they move over to 3 when theirs is dead.
Tank on 3: 2-4 calibrations on this one, depending on how the tank+healer combo was doing on interrupts, before the three dps move over and destroy it.

Just can't seem to find anyplace on theorycrafting with when is it preferred to use power over strength. I have over 2000 strength with buffs/stims and I have 78% surge 38% crit and 103% Acc. With all augments of strength and some surge. Would it be better to change from strength to power augments? Is there a strength cap to where power is better?
Thanks in advance.
You won't go wrong with either strength or power, but strength is (supposedly) slightly better for all attainable levels of strength. You are very strongly into diminishing returns for surge, so you should not put surge on any of your augments. For theorycrafting, check out sithwarrior.com.

It's definitely there during combat (I think sprint just overwrites it outside of combat, rather than stacking). The speed increase is most noticeable when running away from enemies: I feel so *slow* on other characters.

No. It's not worth it.
That whole "just pair it with X" is nonsense. I always need that focus for something else (Merciless Slash requires you to have 5).
If it was 1 Focus it would be awesome and I would gladly have it.
If it was 2 Focus I would have to test it to see if I liked it.
But 3 Focus for a conditional automatic okay damage? I ditched it a long time ago.
Don't be silly. If you pair it with strike, you get 2 focus back, so it only costs 1 focus total. The damage for riposte + strike > slash. So it's better than slash.
-
Remember: it's off the GCD, so you can pair it with a strike. Add up the damage for BOTH strike and riposte, and it costs you a measly 1 focus total: this will come out on top of a slash, so it is well worth it... until you replace slash with something else (such as 31+ combat).

There is a 75% chance your tick will NOT crit.
So there is a .75^4 chance none of your ticks will crit.
1-.75^4 chance that at least one tick will crit (about 68%).

Yes, they fixed it. I soloed the quest and wondered why everyone was complaining about it in the forums. Then I found out that it had been nerfed the day before.
-
Go check out the Sentinel forums. The QQ about the class is unbelievable.
-
The real question should be: if you are going combat is there anything better? I had to throw some talent points in crappy skills to get 31 points, and defensive roll was one of the better ones.
-
Of course it's "worth it", it costs you nothing other than centering to activate Zen, and you can't use centering for anything else. It also last significantly longer than 3 seconds. I use Ataru form, so Zen basically gives me 6 attacks which cost 2/3 as much, and decrease the global cooldown on those attacks by the same amount. It's a very substantial dps increase for me. Depending on the form you use, Zen may be more or less useful for you.
-
Sorry for spoiling it for players who have not yet played the class.
Apology not accepted.

I got a conversation unlock around 9500 affection, so you effectively need to max it.
-
...oh, so THAT's why I occasionally force charge random enemies.

The game is significantly easier with T7 versus Kira: most of the people complaining about difficult class quests are using Kira.
That said, there is a challenging class quest where you must use Kira, so don't neglect her gear completely.

I had exactly this problem with The Esseles. I tried to solo it, quickly saw I couldn't, then looked for a group. Any group I formed with was unable to zone in if I was in the group, getting exactly the error stated. The "reset phases" option did not work for anybody, including myself.
I finally solved the problem by dropping the quest and re-taking it. Try that if you run into this problem.

I dunno if we're still posting due to that glitch and whether it's been fixed, but here's a new parse:

I'm not entirely sure what the glitch is, but one of my relics is the clicky-power, so I think that avoids the glitch?
