Are you confident that PvP gear is absolutely better then the high end PvE gear? As there is no reason that we should have to raid or grind FPs to compete on an even level in PvP. There is a lot of misinformation, possibly, right now about what is BiS for PvP.

 

Is there anyway we can get clarification on how bolster works exactly so we can ensure PvP gear is BiS.

 

Not doing stuff like using BiS PvE armor with PvP mods or something of that nature to trick bolster in to adding stats it shouldnt? In addition is there a reason that the bolster doesnt look at X item and see is there ANY expertise on the item in any slot? If so do not bolster it at all. This way if people swap mods or w/e it is either Y = no bolster, Z = add bolster for the slot. Why look at each individual slot it over complicates the system and creates loop holes for players to exploit and gain an advantage which will likely include using the high end PvE gear since the iLevel is much higher then PvP.

 

Yes this could cause power creep for people that augment or depending on bolster if you have bolster include an average level augment then people that dont augment could possibly be at a slight disadvantage or on even footing most likely. However all of those scenarios are minor to what we have encountered thus far which has created a huge mess include that with the lack of communication and slow response time to fix.

 

Ideally this time should be spent fine tuning classes instead of bolster. Hopefully that is what is next on the list as there were major changes made but no tuning done yet to adjust the extreme TTK issues.

 

no he is not sure. because pvp gear is currently useless in pvp. which means bioware have no idea what they are doing currently. conqueror gear takes 3 times as long, and is significantly worse than black market gear in war zones. the difference on a full tank spec guardian in full base conqueror gear (no augs) and full black market with blue augs (not even purple) , is roughly 9k hp and double the dps output. until they get rid of bolster in 55's, pve gear will always be significantly better due to the enormous increase in main stats. my sub will stay canceled until pvper's dont have to do pve just to compete. (all rateds are being dominated by black market gear, makes sense right?)

[Kira Carsen - Companion story bug?]

You will be presented with her companion quest after you finish Nar Shaddaa. The quest is called "The Defector". Upon completing that quest (which takes place on an asteroid that you fly to), you will talk with her in your ship.

 

During THAT very conversation, the safest thing to do (even in light of the recent patch) is to avoid the [Flirt] option you see that has dark-side points attached to it.

 

my flirt option had no points associated with it either direction. i know because i did it and never do anything that grants darkside points. i'm currently light 3 with zero darkside points. so this is not the bug.

[Kira Carsen - Companion story bug?]

Well...i lvl'd a guardian in beta and was lucky enough not to run into this. unfortunately, eventhough i made all the exact same choices this time around, i got the bug. i'm lvl 35, on quesh, have 6k affection, and she hasnt said a word to me. kira died a few minutes ago for me, and above her avatar i got a ray of hope. the bubble stating she wants to talk to me on my ship showed up. i stopped in the middle of all my quests and hightailed it back to my ship. of course when i got there....nothing. couldnt talk to her. it really would be nice, after this problem being around 6 months ago while i was in beta....if we could get some communication about it. it's getting to be ridiculous.
