  1. I didn't pay for my subscription my brother did cause he's getting into it and wanted me to send him some credits forgot I had almost 100mil. I haven't played in months and before that I would play sporadically for PVP only. Guess I'll give it another go but goddamn that 32bit engine is crippling even on my top of line PC.
  2. The price for a 1 month subscription is 14.99 USD and cost me 21.49 CAD thats all, a bit overpriced if you ask me. only subscribed cause 5 weekly pvp matches are terrible, I miss the unlimited preferred pvp days or the weekly passes which i just ran out of finally. plus the dead servers making it hard to find group ques or finding a decent 8man warzone. instantly cancelled sub.
  3. Why are the forums so dead now, they used to be so active that you had to go back 3-4 pages just to read the posts from that day. Now they don't even seem to fill the first page.

I was still reading them while I was playing WoW and up until a few months ago they still had at least 2 full pages per day. Where has everyone gone?

My guess is because preferred and f2p can't use forums. This game is going in the gutters.

  4. Hey guys,

I'm running an older Alienware computer. It does have an i7 - 920 @ 2.67GHZ. 9GB of RAM. Windows 10. I recently upgraded an older ATI Video card to an Nvidia GTX 970 in hopes of improving my FPS in warzones. I was running the game at low settings. Dropped in the new GPU and haven't seen any performance upgrade in FPS at all. I'm averaging about 25 in Warzones. I didn't change my in game setting at all.

So that leads me to believe my computer is old and I need to get a new computer. Before I go out and spend $1,500 and build a new computer... will upgrading to a current computer actually help me get better FPS in warzones?

As far as Internet goes I have a smoking fast connection. In game I see about 75ms latency.

    Thank you in advance!

this game has a bad engine no super computer in the world can run it past 60 fps in a 8v8 wz. i too recently upgraded from alienware intel 9505 x2 7800 gtx, now im running a i5 4690k @4.6 gtx 970 gigabyte g1 2x ssd's in raid and still never go past 30 fps unless i go way in the corner with no one nearby, all while on medium.

  5. I'm a gunnery commando with the ranger hunter ee-1 rifle(like the annoying sound) and I'm constantly being told *** are you doing with a non canon. And I'm always like why not? and get no response. is there better stats using it all i know is it loses the ability charged bolts which i never use anyway.
  6. C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars The Old Republic

I copied the electronics arts folder to an external for my new computer and copied to the same place on the new pc beast and created a shortcut of the launcher renamed it did a quick repair and worked fine.

  7. From what I've read SWTOR is more CPU intensive than GPU intensive. Besides, I'm sure he wants to play other games too, not just one 4 year old MMO.

its very CPU intensive i have a gtx 970 and only 500+mbs are been used most of the time when i turn dsr to 2k jumps to 1+gb. i have i5 4690k @4.7ghz stable.
