All those true and amazing facts of the class and yet one if the absolute easiest classes to burn down relatively easy and pain free. Not to mention lock down. Wonder how this is.

Glad you liked it. Please come back after experiencing the lack if dcd's in solo ranked, and feel you could trade some (alot) burst for some actually working dcd's. Happy hunting :-)

Low PVP gear
in PvP
Let's all take a moment to thank the op for even asking. Rather than going into wz with low expertise and shrug at anyone trying to explain bolster.
I usually start out getting 2K dark/light and some relics @20 lvls.
Then sit back and do some low profile objectives in afew wz to make the intro quests for wz.
Should earn you about enough comms to buy two implants from pvp vendor in Capitol city ( lvl 20 req).
Also if I haven't gotten am earpiece by then, buy that from same vendor. They all cost 310 wz comms each.
Basically fill all slots to max expertise.
Regarding pvp closer to 60, you should check out the post about min maxing expertise. As you wil be nerfed in expertise with too high lvl items.
I'm working on the perfect combination and hope to post some time later. But for now I recommend spending basic comms on blue/greens as they seem to get best bolster.
And allso use endurance crystals. More hp tends to decrease aggro in pvp :-)

has anyone heard of this game called WORLD OF WARCRAFT? yeah its been around since 2005. Still way more populated then this game.
I hear they over time added BOTH PVE AND PVP CONTENT.
:eek: :eek:Also last night while "big" swtor live event had 1k views.. While WORLD OF WARCRAFT had Over 9000 Viewers half of which are watching people PVP.
in fact after the event swtor live streams view reduced down to 50.

Participation of PT's in ranked.....where did you see me asking for PT AP nerf?
If you were referring to my post from few days ago where i mentioned that Hatred & AP are
"too much" in current meta ( PVP is not just ranked, in fact it's the smallest dumbest part of it imho)

P.S. ...and i think you should take my suggestion from that post: roll a Veng Jugg, it is far more forgiving for
inexperienced players. It's got big, fatty, juicy defensive CDs

According to some statistics (by Yusi?) participation of PT's in solo ranked has been
between 9-12% in all seasons. (not 100% on this, data is here on forum somewhere)
Current top20 solo ranked:
9 x PT/Vang
7 x SIN/Shadow
3 x Sorc/Sage
1 x Oper/Scoundrel
All of these players have few hundred games behind them in this season, it's not like
they have been win trading first few games and then vanished.
I know that solo ranked is not the only thing to consider when balancing classes
but it can not be neglected.
.....I mean it's the most popular (only?) form of ranked currently active.
I agree that numbers don't lie but what numbers are you referring to?
Community wake the #F# up. 90%+ of top pt's in yolo are tanks. So stop yelling nerf another spec with this pretty ###### up argument.

I believe some do think like this. I won't go into detail what I think happened to them during birth. But if you read and agree to op, one tip: get atleast the first full set of pvp gear (Something inside me says you really shouldn't have to write this.) and then que. Get experience in pvp from regs and receive less hate in yolo.

I was paraphrasing one of the posts in this thread while referencing the forum wars scene from World of Roguecraft (3) (which remains one of the best gameplay videos of all time and was one big class balance argument).

Arguments like this are usually nothing more than a desperate attempt to gain attention as a self announced pro.
Other than that I mostly agree. Imo problem is how some classes are so easy at being good with and when those classes are coherent to the class best against ones own class, the "slight irritation" becomes true agony game after game.

indeed i am. i also play lots of other classes. sure vengeance is probably up there with pt's and hatred sins in ease of playing.
what's that got to do with anything?
We all need to take pt off this list of imaginary fotms. All pts top rank are tanks. Dps pt's are one of the easiest targets to global. So be specific. Don't let devs read current dps pt's as op. It's not. Anyone thinking so are regstars.
