  1. Force push isn't just a knockback, it is a knockdown. The time it takes you to get up is intended. It's not a bug or an engine issue, it is a feature of force push (unlike, for example, a sorc or merc knockback.)
  2. The macro you describe, with various attacks bound to one key, does not give good players an edge. For example, you would be stuck with blade storm in your 'rotation' against a Sin who has popped shroud.

That macro you describe will elevate a rubbish player, who either doesn't know the priority order for attacks or panics in combat and messes it up, to the level of an average player - i.e. someone who, in effect, presses the correct button in the correct order most, but not all, of the time.

Good players, however, would prefer to have every ability seperately bound and available and would make the quick decision as to where to position, who to target and what ability to use every GCD....or, to be precise, would have made those decisions in advance, with quick reactions and adjustments being the difference between 'good' and 'great.'

The Huttball macro on the other hand was a nightmare to play against in 8v8 ranked. That spam of right click also had other uses and still does in that particular warzone which make it unfair.

  3. Mylex i saw that char in a wz earlier on my team can't think what class now and all lol.

I haven't played on TRE for ages, once in the last couple of months a few weeks ago, so it wasn't me :3

TBF though, TRE has always been about the pre-mades, as has every server I guess. Maybe more noticeable due to a declining player base idk.

    And yes, screw me!

  4. 8-man Group ranked was insanely active around the time server transfers were released, because a lot of teams decided to move to one server. On TOFN there were like 20 teams or more in total. It was the last prime it had, because of course, right when there was a flourishing community, they shut it down, and probably half of the people who played ranked left the game.

Exactly, I counted 23 in queue one night on ToFN shortly after transfers iirc. This was without stuff like dailies to incentivise it, no matchmaking under the hood and field respec (arguably) ruining some of the fun for newer teams.

  5. Whilst, clearly, this game has lost talented players for a vairety of reasons I can't believe that the OP made up some numbers, put those numbers into a formula, then posted the resulting calculation as the basis of his argument. Amazing.
  6. I don't want to get into an argument but, again, I don't think boring rotations is a factor in the "hype" either (not that I can see how you can think the rotation is both too complex AND boring at the same time.)
  7. With respect, I think you are confusing the potential of each spec with it's ease of play. Good players won't have a problem managing 3 dots and maintaining melee up time on their target. Others may indeed find it easier to go Deception and alternate between maul and auto-attack.
  8. This isn't really true, HoTs and DoTs keep ticking regardless of stuns. The tank cannot switch guard when stunned, so in both cases the active effects are disabled but the passives remain.

The guard mechanic could use some tweaks, but this suggestion is slightly silly
