WTB definitive answer for LFG system. I know it was discussed in a previous Q&A... but it was vague... I only have one, maybe two more months worth of subs left in me.... Diablo III launch probably...if FPS and LFG tool arn't fixed/implemented (sorry BW <3, but you might have dropped the ball on this one)

I don't see the big deal with clickers. I'm a clicker and I always get great stats... it could be that I'm extremely fast with the clicks and I know my rotations and I beat the global cooldown tenfold. Is the term "clicker" aimed towards people who are more slow or everyone who clicks in general?
I can understand if its towards the slower clicking people because I know a few people like that and it annoys me to watch them play
Proof of your success clicking versus a keybinder? Oh wait, there is no way to prove this using empirical data... there is no combat log or statistical meters, thus, your argument is moot.

Blizzard just knows how to market and with a 7.5yo game they realize new players are harder to produce than older ones...

Sorry, but I read the first 5 lines of the OP and realized this was posted by a Bungie fanboy. The respect I have for bungie and halo is so minuscule considering Socom 1 was Online with TDM and Objective before halo even came close makes me cry at the ignorance of the OP and his blindness.

The thread is tl'dr... but without specs in the op you shouldn't be complaining... if you can't tell us more about your system then don't expect any of us to sympathize considering I've been running on high since launch and high AA (with there was more AA options) since its release with a min of 45fps in the fleet... 53-60 everywhere else....
either you spent 3k on a pre-built computer from bestbuy... or you're lying... my system cost me 1700 all said and done.

been using 285.62 since release with no problems... but does 295.73 mention anything about ToR? It is an obvious driver focused on Skyrim and BF3 improvements.
While I'll start using tomorrow and have a better interpretation of its value for ToR, I play Skyrim and BF3 on PC too so we'll see.
An aside... it has improvements for DIII (I have the beta for that) so i'll report back on all when I have time to test.

Some of us... including the OP like to enjoy the scenic nature of sandbox and mmo's but also browse our quest log, codix/ap's or character window while using auto run and often dont notice our exit from the map and deserve the ability to multitask better in games with so many tasks (mmos) that can be accomplished while using auto-run (either use invisible walls or give us more time to return)

Side quests. Apparently optional, at first glance. Sure, I may do them, but I only do the story regularly. I am sorry to my fellow MMORPG or MMO players, but now, side quests are MANDATORY, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. If you need any proof, try any class on just the story line and get through Dromund Kaas or Coruscant, without continuous and repeated help from a higher level for everything. I like this term that the trooper sometimes says
"I exist only to serve..." To me, this hints that you are implicitly required to do the side tracks.
Just come out and say it, SWTOR staff, SIDE QUESTS ARE MANDATORY.
For other MMOS, side quests are completely optional. For example, Warhammer. You can literally do the first half of the game, levelwise, on solely RvR(like PvP to some). And its fun too. Now, TOR is an amazing game, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that there's no reason for all of the hiding and other stuff that they do...
In my humble opinion of having played through dozens of games, this game should still be in beta.
Side quests are there for the "forever alone" and "socially awkward penguin" who don't want to group or socialize in an MMO... this is you. FP alone provide sufficient credits and gear to reach 50 without side quests... (each planet has its own story line... if you consider that to be a side quest then i suggest you try to reach max level in skyrim doing the story)
This game has plenty to offer and the naysayers just need to give it more then level 30 and 2 months with 2+ million to reach its peak.

Nope, SWTOR just blows.
your opinion is just that... while the game feels incomplete, it is still much more fun then many games i've played in 2011... save for skyrim and Portal 2 (crysis 2 was epic as well)... but as far as MMOs go, this game is far superior to many other at launch... LoTRO was awful at launch... RIFT wasnt terrible... and for the fanboys... WoW was godawful.... ToR was smooth and now it will just take some time for servers to merge and transfers to be available before the population can flourish...
want to cancel your account because of the flaws? see you 3 months with subpar gear wishing you'd have been play the whole time.

There won't be a surge of new subs... but a surge of people subbing who have lost access to their account due to premature cancellations... You're obviously paying your $15 so stop hating on those with rose colored glasses in hopes this game becomes a social phenomenon like other MMO's have... it's a good game... you just have a desire to hate... and hatred breads fail.

Also, shooters have more difference between them then say, swtor and everquest..

I've played EQ, I've hit 50 in SWTOR, and if you're looking for the hardcore aspect, you should move backwards... the genre has evolved, just as the FPS genre has done the same... and beside, the aspect of TDM and multiplayer FPS has become so mundane that I would applaud you for presenting scenarios that separate the gameplay like MMO's do using abilities, threat, healing and overall techniques.

Lol, MMO is a genre... like FPS is a genre and to complain about the recycled aspect of the MMO is to say that every shooter game you've played since Quake and HL has no innovation.. it's the same gameplay mechanics... yes... but the abilities and story line are far different from the others.

while after 51 pages of tl'dr i hope it has been mentioned and emphasized by the community that...
1. realm? you're an obvious WoW fanboy...
2. WoW fanboys have no place in a SW community (in the MMO world yes... but don't insult the SW fans with your fantasy over SciFi... SciFi > fantasy)
3. The majority of us played WoW, we know WoW and we love Blizz... however, the majority of YOU didn't play during its launch year and have no idea of the problems mos PC games face (not only mmos) during the first 6 months after launch. (blame console ports)
So honestly, stop beating this topic to death considering how many times it has been brought up in the last two months that SWTOR is "sup-par"
we don't care... we like this game... we like this company... we liked WoW but wanted different... so **** and play or ****.

I have one 50 that I plan to make my main until the time I feel it's geared enough to make an alt...
And, to sound like a broken record comparing ToR to WoW... my main in WoW was the only char I had for over 5 years which reached 9215ap before quitting... where I knew players with every class at 80/85 by the time I quit... so my point is... choose a playstyle that suits YOU.
