[Legacy Promotion now expanded]

Sucks. I have two level 3 legacies. There didn't seem to be any point to having cross-faction alts before this latest patch, because you couldn't actually mail things to them. So rather than fill up my character list on one server with two groups of characters that would essentially be completely walled off from each other, I went and made my Republic characters on a different server. It seemed reasonable enough at the time, but I didn't know it'd cost me fifteen dollars. God knows I've put in the kind of time and energy that they're trying to reward here.

[did they lower EXP gains from killing things?]

Because the way it is now, I'm not experiencing the game at the challenge level it was designed with. I'd feel like my experience would be much more complete if I had been leveling slower, and got to experience the missions at the correct difficulty level.

 

As it is, I'm like, afraid to do space missions that aren't green, let alone flashpoints...

I've felt like the levels were going too quickly. All my quests have been green for like, the past 3 planets now. And due to the story-driven nature of the game, it's not really possible to simply skip ahead a zone like it was in WoW.

The ability failure bug for melee classes, I've found, ALWAYS happens after using any off-the-gcd ability, like retaliation. After using it, my next 1-3 abilities "fail". Vicious slash, for example -- my character will wind up her lightsaber, but then stop.

 

I'm not, I guess, super far in the game, but so far, my choice of Vengeance as a tree seems to be severely inhibited by the fact that I cannot burn my excess rage with retaliation without rendering myself unable to attack for the next few gcd's.
