yeah it does sound like the worse idea ever for win traders right? a lot easier to win trade in 4v4 ranked than it is in 8v8 ranked. heres why, if they do implement 8v8 solo ranked, a 8 man group can carry 1 or 2 players if they try to loose it on purpose. however in 4v4 one can loose on purpose for the other guy and no one can carry him.
so yeah bad idea for the win traders, good idea for the skilled base players.
actually in obj based pvp it would probably be just as easy for wintraders to throw matches in games, just by giving up a node w/o a callout. but lol who gives a **** about the wintraders.
regs / 4v4 solo q is already the most toxic thing in the world, and you want to add in 8v8 objective based solo queues?
there should never have been "rated solo queue" implemented for any sort of teamplay. it's just a **** system, and adding in 8v8 obj based solo q will be even more toxic.

Add 8v8 Ranked Solos between seasons. See how it goes.

and no from the ss, he is not a rage jug in tank stance. that would literally just suck a billion ballsacks.
he is a skank jug tank, and we all know they do good cleave damage, so its your guys' fault that you just stacked on top of him for him to cleave all of you down and you didn't kite enraged defense rather than giving him a full heal.
clearly a l2p issue and not a balance issue.

problem isn't just limited to smugglers and troopers. i did not get credit for my knight ch3, which was the last one i needed for my legendary player

So last patch they said that they were pushing a fix to the chapter 3 achievement bug and not giving credit towards legendary player status to this patch.... yet i see nothing about it in the patch notes.
so, we're just screwed then?

Got hit last saturday for a 19886 heatseeker on my jug. I'm in full 2018 pvp gear, but was really surprised to see a merc just run upto me while I was guarding grass. Seemed strange as he only had 67k health so really undergeared. Was startled to find my health went from 100 to 30% with what looked like 3 gcds and the 19.8k heatseeker that killed me went home through my enraged defense. I tested him again later in the wz when I had my cds up and again found he could totally wreck me and I had to play smart just to handle the massive damage he was putting out.
Seems strange as I don't normally see that kinda output from mercs/troopies. The raw damage was overwhelming people. I mean he was putting out burst that my apt or rage jug would be proud of and putting it into fully geared toons natch. Could just have been bolster being funky again, I mean with that health pool he was prob in 190 greens.
Still I wouldn't call people bad for reporting these high numbers. Theres some funny things going on in wzs atm.
you got hit by a 20k heatseeker. thats not that uncommon.
op is complaining about 20k tracer missiles which aren't happening.

unless something has changed, I think the idea behind MM is that you proc an instant ambush. but either way, snipers are much better at area control in either of the two major specs. you can't go toe to toe with MM (or at least I can't) in gunnery. I need to los and heal.
lol no you can't proc an instant ambush. you can proc a 1.5s cast ambush (as opposed to 2.5s)
and no, tracer missiles aren't hitting you for 20k. you're just bad.

i can't seem to win any games vs pubs because it's always fight and they are all so good at pvp

Imperial snipers and Mercs easily hit 1M dpswhen people say **** like this i automatically assume they dont know how to pvp properly

level brackets aren't an issue of balance but has more to do with populations...

just wanted to let people know that there's some scrubs sending random trash items in the mail with a 500k COD trying to get some other lowly scrubs to accidentally pay it, since i know someone will inevitably start crying about it like that guy who bought something for 17M instead of 170k or something

Maybe arena, but 8v8 sentinels perform poorly compared to guardians.
You're comparing everything having 1v1 in mind, thats not how regs work.
WM dots spread poorly due to very short ticking time (you need to reapply rather than use existing dots to spread them again like guardians).
Pacify (obfuscate) only affects one target, good luck getting much out of it in 8v8 unless you're hunting for duels.
Transcendence (predation) only affects defence stat. Its 30sec only if you're using utility to remove stack req. Otherwise it eats up your stacks causing dps loss.
You cannot attack during camo, without heal or medstation its only going to confuse enemies for a period before they get back to you, as it dont drop you from combat either.
Sents get rooted just as easily as guardians, but guardians utilities for immunities last longer/can be used more often with less utilitiy points spent. Only viable break utilities for sents are in heroic category, as the only immunity (saber ward for 12sec every 3min) one has too long of a cd to be really useful. Guardians can get a straight up immunity every leap with lowest util req and another immunity from heroic to Endure (for 10sec every 1min). Only concentration sents are comparable to guardians rootcounterwise.

If you meant Onixa the first fight. She's from the same guild and has full gear on her sorc with augments. And yes I clicked the escape as It did not work. I'm making special, video for "SWTOR pros". I have collected ranked and unranked gamesplays where I remove "escape" move from arrows keys and back peddle the war zone and still able to win and remember to zoom as close as you can to your character...
I usually don't comment to any critics, its the best way but In my years of playing especially SWTOR and other MMO games. The loud ones usually have a lot to say but, in the end they get less score and medals and end up to blame others. Even its not about the score and medals but still how to judge it... Cheers.
TIL 67k = full gear with full augments in the 4.4 bolster bug. jk it isn't.
are you going to include moves in your "SWTOR pros ranked and unranked gameplay" such as your cover pulse at 0:32 for no reason at all? (didn't see a pulse screen buff... sorc was still whitebarred... you were out of range lol)
what about the fights like at 1:26 and 2:12 where you like to just stand there not in cover

I stopped watching after you white barred that sorc for no reason.
couldn't even win the 1v1 vs a severely undergeared sorc (67k hp in 4.4)... clicks some of his abilities... watched a fight where he stood out of cover... never resets dampeners
but i mean grats on getting some okay ambush numbers :s

ask musco if he can bring back rollbang for eng snipers pls
gameplay is very stale without rollbang, snipers are very underutilized and need rollbang to perform well

Well it was a well known problem that many people faced.
I had the best time, today...every single match I have qued for has been a premade stomping the group I am in. EVERY SINGLE MATCH...do you realize the kind of frustration that occurs when that happens?
get some friends and queue a group then
