  1. Agent is by far the best story this game has to offer.

    The ending upset me, though.

Why couldn't you join the Star Cabal at the end? It would've made so much sodding sense.

The Empire betrayed you, the Republic can't be trusted in their corruption, either. And both Jedi and Sith are madmen fighting petty wars over religion.

The Star Cabal were right in working towards their demise.

  2. They have the least lore or significant presence amongst all the races, aside from maybe the Mirialan. The most that the Rattataki have is Asajj Ventress, who is a very minor character in the universe and not as well-liked as others like Thrawn for the Chiss or Darth Maul for the Zabrak.

Funnily enough, Assajj Ventress it not a Rattatatotitaktatatouille, and Darth Maul is not a Zabrak.

George Lucas loves him some Dathomirians. So both got retconned into Dathomirians.

  3. I wouldn't call them "canon", but they seem to be a representation of possible PC characters. The game's boxart has similar ones for a Jedi Knight, Bounty Hunter, Trooper.

No. Those are known NPCs from the game's backstory.

The jedi is the guy that gets killed by Malgus during the Sacking of Coruscant-trailer. Shae Vizla, the Bounty Hunter chick, is also present.

The trooper is in the Alderaan trailer, together with Satele.

  4. Agent companions are not that bad. They're badly executed, though.

Lokin could've been so much more interesting if they went down the Mad Scientist-route. Instead, we have Grandpa.

They're leagues ahead of some other classes' companions, though. Keyword: Corso.

  5. or put in two power icons to let us ether cover in place or roll into natural cover.

I'm not disagreeing with the rest of your post, but if I understand you correctly, you can do this.

Under hotkeys there is a Take Cover option and one for Take Cover in Place or something like that.

Default keys are, I think, Mouse 3 and Shift+Mouse 3.

  6. Dunno, the ending felt really unsatisfying in contrast to the great rest of the story.

I really missed an option to join the Star Cabal at the end. It would've made much more sense not to destroy them when you finally unraveled their mysteries.

After all, they DID have a noble cause.

You can trust neither the Sith nor Jedi to lead the galaxy, they're both religious zealots.

Destroying either maybe would end the continuous wars caused by them.

  7. Evening folks,

I just resubbed to the game after quitting in February. I want to start playing a new character; however, my preferred species/class combination isn't possible without unlocking it first.

I already have an Operative on 50 with Tier 1 Gear, so my question is, would it be faster to just farm the 1500k credits or level a different alt first?

I don't have any funds left over, so I'd have to start at zero with both methods.

Also, I've never done daily quests back then, is there a guide or something for the most efficient way to do them?

  8. Played against an Operative Medic and his Assassin Tank quite a few matches yesterday.

With Guard up and use of his cooldowns the Operative 'tanked' 6 people hitting on him.

In fact, he just stood in a fire over its whole duration and kept himself alive.

They are in no way squishy at all.

  9. Can anyone tell me Hunter's last words? Where he says he has one last thing to tell you.

I shot him in the face before he had the chance, and to this day I am dying to know what he says.

He used a cloaking device from that guy on Tattooine.

'He' is in fact a she.

You get a couple new insights on why she acted like she did, but otherwise it changes nothing.

Well, guess there wasn't much left of them at that point anyway. I guess you could say you are the new Star Cabal, since Hunter entrusted you with everything. Did she really need to kill herself?

Yeah, the whole subplot kinda lacked options.

What made the Agent's story so great imo, is that it depicts both Jedi & Sith as petty lunatics fighting meaningless wars. That's the same thing that made KotOR II so great.

But in the end they didn't give you the option to join the one organization that works towards ending this crap.

I just wanted to be part of the Iluminati.

  10. I agree with OP. These classes are completely broken.

The fundamental problem with these classes are their ability to CC and stealth from combat, and in the healer's case, crit heal and cc until the reinforcements arrive.Warzones aside, I find that scoundrel and operative are mostly PVP focused classes, and even in world PVP, they manage to evade or outheal 1v1. In order to fix this, I propose we turn all the existing scoundrels and operatives into jellyfish, and then follow up by turning all the Vanguards and Powertechs into kangaroos. Furthermore I find it imperative that we take all force powers away from sorcs/sages, and instead of lightsabers, equip them all with large plantains and complementary movie tickets to see "Big Mama's House."

I freaking loved Big Mama's House.

  11. No, I am sorry, you should NOT be able to kill someone before they get up from your knockdown. Your class is severly OP and needs to be nerfed.

    /discuss

I never killed anyone within 3 seconds.

Given, if my opponent is below 20 I get him to ~60% but that's more a problem of the crappy scaling system.

However, your point kinda stands. Operatives are too reliant on Hidden Strike.

Tone up sustained damage a bit, and reduce Hidden Strike damage.
