  1. Hello folks,

     

    something came to my mind I want to share with you.

    We all know it, the signs always have been there and now we experience it every single day. The game is dead.

    I'm not talking about server with strong populations. I am as many, many other players doomed to play on a low pop server.

    I use all 8 character slots, have several 50's and did every operation and flashpoint once (not interested in boring pve grinding versus dumb ai mobs without reward). I'm a pvp player.

     

    Beside the tons of bugs, bad balancing, performance issues (okay, It got a little better with 1.2), lame animations, boring and easy key smashing game-play and missing pvp rewards to keep players actually working for something - what really is bugging me, you always feel alone.

     

    The worlds / stations look sterile, empty. Missing details and creatures/npcs too make it look more alive.

    In addition there is no one to play with. I am in a guild, we were playing ops/pvp and so on. Many quit as I am thinking of doing so too.

     

    Queues for warzones are endlessly long, even if one is starting you rarely get a full group.

    Prime time is about 20:00 to 22:00 CEST when you can play some proper wzs or ops/fps if you are lucky.

     

    The problem is that I feel cheated. Why should I pay for a whole month when I only can play 2 hours a day.

    Why should I pay for a "fully functional" game, that isn't "fully functional".

    Why should I pay for a game in which you don't receive any support to solve your problems?

    Server merge, easiest solution so far, ignored. Unbelievable.

     

    So please tell me what keeps you playing, I really want to go on because it's Star Wars.

    The game itself actually sucks because of the reasons above... but it's ****in' Star Wars!

     

    PvP is maybe 20% of the game content at 50. If you dont like PVE I wonder why you are even playing the game.

  2. IMO SW are the Brutes of the DS force users. They are evil but use the force in a more physical way.

     

    SI however is enveloped with the DS using raw evil force power to fuel themselves.

     

    Id vote SI just because they seem to be more deeply infected with the mystic dark ritualistic powers of the force.

  3. This is a really interesting post to me, and I'm not being a smart-aleck (sp?) With all of the imbalance and disparity between classes right now, some (or maybe many) are focused on sabers vs. staff. Maybe Bioware has it right by focusing so broadly on everything, especially the little things that seem trivial to some. Maybe it isn't so trivial afterall...I'll be damned. Are you guys solo'ers? Do you tend to care about mechanics or are cosmetics more important? Do you play causally or are you part of a raiding guild? Just curious is all...

     

    I am in one of the top raiding guild on my server. While we are not a WW 1st guild I have cleared every 8 man op short of EC HM and myself and 3 other guildies where the 1st to clear HM lost island on our server. While this really isnt something thats very important I thought it would be a nice addition and and easy fix. Again there are many more important things but I cant imagine its a huge deal to adjust it so we can use electrostaffs.

  4. endgame sniper has 110 energy.

    endgame BH has 100 max heat.

    endgame warrior has 10 max rage.

    im not really sure how your comment contributes to what the OP asked lol

     

    Someone already answerd his question. I was just giving him and example of what the max force pool is for a sorc.

  5. Belsavis/Ilum dailys will yield you 1 armor/mod/enhancment a day grade 22 quality. In 6 days you can have a full suit of lvl 49 purple mods and weapon mods without stepping foot in and instance. 6 days of running daily quest will yield you plenty of cash to buy a few decent crafted implants and the tokens from the quest will yield a Earpiece Or implant. For a weapon you can purchase a hilt from the daily vendor. This should set you up just fine for NM ops and HM Fps (except maybe Lost island).
  6. mix some campaign/black hole gear with battlemaster and your damage goes through the roof. that is why you see some people with crazy high numbers.

     

    Then how do you explain a lvl 16 agent doing nearly 550k (2 WZ last night I saw this same person break 500k). I believe there is some sort of hacking going on also. Im so glad people have came here to confirm this.

  7. Assasin tanks in pvp lack alot of kill power but we absoluity have the ability to hold our own against many targets for along time. Its so much fun to sap stalk nodes pop out throw some beat down (so they scream for help) then vanish run behind a rock/wall ect heal up and come back for another round. A good tank assasin can keep 2-3 people busy for awhile and cause alot of distaction while your team takes a less defended node.
  8. Many ancient sith used Sith swords. It was basically a super light weight/ super strong alloy that had LS crystals embedded in the metal that allowed it to parry blaster bolts and Lightsabres. The lore is there for us to be able to use these weapons but BW isnt exactly into being 100% accurate with lore. (hard to in a MMO enviroment I guess)

     

    Wanted to add that the vibrosword that drops in Kaon is usable by warriors/marauders without any issues unless somethings changed recently I havent heard about.

  9. I personally don't like all the heavy endurance on the gear, but that's mostly due to its impact on our throughput. As the content gets harder, and especially after we've been nerfed, essentially nerfing our healing by giving us the same rough throughput in tier 2.1 equipment as we had in 1.3 gear is bad form. It's a double nerf.

     

    The thing about high endurance being bad for Consumption is kind of a misconception that doesn't take the whole context into consideration, though. The higher your health is, and the better you manage your Consumptions, the more health you tend to have left afterwards in terms of raw HP (not necessarily percentage).

     

    Say a guy has 15,000 health at max, he uses Consumption for 11%, he now has 13350, a loss of 1,650. At 20,000 health, you Consume and are at 17,800. Yeah, you did just spend 2,200 instead of 1,650, but you still have more health left afterwards than the other guy had to start with. Big Picture™. Also theoretically the 20k health guy should have way better Revivifications than the 15k health guy, so despite the increase in the cost of his Consumptions, they tend to be more trivial after the fact.

     

    The issue is the guy with 15k health could easily have just as much healing power as the guy with 20k health due to the gear losing so much power/surge/willpower and gain crit/alacrity/end.

  10. Yeah the itemization sucks for everyone bro.

     

    Get all your campaign gear then buy 3 pair of BH boots and 2 pair of BH helmets and replace all your mods and enhancements with those.

     

    And please don't say that's too much grinding, I'm already about done for my main spec, about to move to gearing my healing spec.

     

    Try being on a low pop RP server and saying the grind isnt enough. We are 2nd on our server in 8 man progression and cant even begin to try and form a 16 man.

  11. Is the pre 50 PVP? Im sure it is... I still dont see it ever... and you have a circular logic about not saying it..

     

    Easyily enough... Sages and Sorcs need to L2P, and stop saying you dont!

    BW said metrics were exactly in lne to what they expected, people still whine and keep saying oh heres your nerf Mara/Sent (last few patches) still not there....

     

    god mode button??? Envious and not to bright... just because you want to use your CC or Stuns in an offensive matter instead of as a counter is not the games fault, its the player fault... Oh about other players "god mode" button being to stn someone for 6 seconds or more and beat on them with no reprisals...Oh did you forget mara/sents have no CC or stuns?

     

    Right because if I stun you you cant just insta break it? O wait you can everyone has that ability however I have no way to prevent you from going invunerable. Bad example keep defending the OPness of your class. The nerf is coming its to obvious not to. Btw I have not played my Sorc in pvp since 1.2 but my BH has level completely through pvp other than class quest. Its easy to see the FOTM crowed jumping on mara/sent there are a ton of them in sub 50 pvp.

  12. Usally when we are running pre made sub 50 pvp in guild we are all on vent..... This makes us much more orginized and even if we are playing agaist a team that has several higher level characters on it we win because we communicate. Blame BW for not putting in game VC. Even tho most in game VC system suck it would still help with the lack of communication pugs have VS premades.
