I like it, but the scale of it seems a bit too large, problem is the same though even if it were a small map. Stealthers would have an overwhelming advantage I think. This sounds like it COULD be the worst of voidstar AND Civil war, but mixed with some innovative elements. I'll reply more concisely later.
But I like the concept.

Actually, that statement has been contradicted by later statements both by Lucas and other writers within Lucasfilm. I'm not even sure if that statement was made by a Lucasfilm employee, much less Lucas himself.

Synthetic crystals also had the rare chance of shorting out natural crystals. Which is why you so often see red/synth crystals used by dark siders for the slight, if rare, advantage they offer. If not at the least to put a tad bit of fear into their opponent that at any random moment they could short their lightsaber out and follow through with a fatal attack.
Yep...I've read the article, and it would make sense that sith would certainly use Red crystals for this purpose. ((Of course....since you can MAKE crystals in this game)) That leads me to believe that all of the made crystals (Ones you can swap in and out) to be synthetic, indeed showing that most of them are force manipulated. Of course....look at the NON-moddable sabers for a more accurate split of whom gets what....

Synthetic crystals come in all colors, not just red.
My bad on that BUT. "A Synthetic lightsaber crystal, commonly referred to as a Synth-crystal, is a type of lightsaber crystal that is artificially created, rather than naturally formed by geological processes. Due to the methods used in their creation, they often formed with a red coloration, though they could be made with any color through special manipulations of either the creation process or the crystal itself, often through the Force.' Synth crystal Often is a strong word in this context. Not conclusive and i do not take it to mean ALWAYS, but at least 2/3rd of the time it would be red, as to me, that is often.

Might I comment that synthetic lightsaber crystals are red in color. wookiepedia on synthetic crystals so red isn't necessarily evil, but becomes associated with evil. ((If vader's had been blue, blue would be evil)). Frankly...the whole red=bad comes down to whoever decided to make Vader's saber red. Of course we are getting into archetypes with that one....

Black = power (death, mourning)
Blue = nobility, tranquility (depression)
Brown = Earth, nature (confusion)
Gray = neutral (passionless)
Green = fertility, renewal, wealth (greed, envy)
Orange = adventure, change (forced change, disruptiveness)

Red = sex, love (sacrifice, taboo, humiliation, danger)
White = purity, wholesomeness, rebirth (emptiness)
Yellow = enlightenment (cowardice, illness)

Guy on my server with the name "Bevis". Not that big of a deal until someone mentioned he "spelled it wrong" and got all up in arms. Apparently it's a family name that he kept pointing out existed "before Europe".. or something.. so it actually was Bevis and not Beavis. But people kept giving him crap for it and he kept feeding them. It's like.. don't use your last name as a character name and then get upset when people talk about it because it's close to "Beavis". What do you expect?
Hehehe When I was in the Air Force I was told that I had a world of warcraft name. Last name is Versluis pronounced Verse-less. I got called Verse-less The Dark lord, The Merciless, The destroyer....you get the picture.

Ok, so an idea from rep side of the Ebon Hawk server from a discussion in general chat. after a discussion about Womp rat fever we decided it sounded like a weird all parody. here's my version of it. i'd like to see the community do their own versions.
Well I don't know where they come from

Again, look at the other option: The refugees needed them.
Most non-military personnel would think the good guy would give it to the needy refugees. A trooper, or somebody who's seen combat, would give it to the hurt soldiers putting their lives on the line, in order to defend the refugees.
Dark-side=/=Evil
Light-side=/=Good
It's perspective, views, and a look at the path you choose. No officials said Dark was evil and Light was good. I totally see dealing justice out to war criminals and pirates, in the form of death, is something a hero would do. Others would disagree.

I am yes. and with combat medicine...Your forces, allies, civilians/refugees, enemy prisoners. That's the hirearchy of it or so i was trained. Of course..I'd rather give it to 10 people than to 1 guy that will likely never be able to fight again.

I'm about to return critical medical supplies stolen from a MASH. The medic tells me a soldier just went into shock, he needs them now or the soldier will die. I return the supplies and save the soldier life. 50 dark side points.
I know, I'm a really despicable person. Can barely watch myself in the mirror.
That one, was a needs of the many choice, one trooper, or an unspecified number of refugees.

I THINK it's already in place. I THINK that my JK's facial scars have reduced and softened a little bit through her progression to LS V. THAT SAID....I would like to actually see something that isn't so subtle (unless I'm seeing things).

not quoting Op because nobody needs a wall 'o text pasted. But my feelings ar emuch teh same. With my JK when i forged my saber, and then right after when I had to use it for the first time...simply amazing.

Yeah i'd liek to see the champ gear schematics be made Universal. I've Got the chest, gauntlets, pants, off hand, and two implants for my main. a chest pants and gauntlets for scourge and extra pants. My ratio has been recent...But that's why they need to be universal....no effing repeats.
as an aside..I like the Golden samurai look.

And after paing 230k + creds for the next level vehicle speed I can't even tell the difference
You'll notice the difference when you have a horde of Sith chasing you across the icy plains of Ilum. trust me. when you're on a 110 and they're all on 100's.....the difference is a lifesaver.

Funny, since I have 4 companions wearing various orange moddable armor pieces. 2 of which are wearing my hand-me-downs.
True i do the same, my companions are also in hand me downs (minus the droids)but i'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to buy teh sets i wasn't able to get because i chose X instead of A,B,C,D, or E.

My JK sometimes only has one saber in cut-scenes but then the second one magically appears. On top of that, she's body type one and has hit for as much as 4K. OH yeah. and she's a Miraluka with matrix shades.
