    What Defines A "Casual" Player To You?

    A casual player is one who simply wants to experience the game and plays for the enjoyment of playing while a hardcore player in one who wants to achieve through play and plays for a sense of accomplishment. For the former the game is a diverting activity while for the later the game is a focusing task. IMHO…

    Was crossing over the canvases across that weird sunken path on Taris and missed the jump onto one of the corner ties and slipped through to the ground level below. Female Trooper character was right in the middle of a fight with a bunch of Rakghouls or Pirates or whatever and not wanting to jumping into her melee I scooted past and went on my merry way and thought nothing more about it.

     

    Until about three minutes later when this same toon start following me around and spamming me in General, going "COWARD!!!" I whisper back, "???" and she replies in general, "U R A BIG BABY COWARD WHO CANNAT FIGHT UR OWN BATTLES!!"

     

    I whisper her that I simply dropped in on her melee by accident and didn't want to steal her kills, and she starts going off about how "NOONE CAN STEEL {HER} KILLS IF THEY ARE A BABAY COWARD AND CANAT FIGHT 4 THEMSELFS BABAY WANT A BOTTLE CUZ I AM GOING 2 MAKE U HAEV NO KILLZ U CAAAT EVEN FIGHT WITHOUT A SOMEONE ELSE A ROUND 2 FIGHT 4 U AND U R A COWARD BABY DRINK UR BOTTLE BECASE I AM PULING EVERYTHING A ROUND ON U AND IF U CANT TAKE IT 2 BAD BECASE U R A COWARD!!!" And etc.

     

    I told her to take her Ritalin, ask her Mommy to make her a sandwich, and calm down before bedy-bye time. And then put her on /Ignore

     

     

    Anyone else deal with this nut job?

    ...class quest cant even give a level per plant and you are stuck with boring quests again.

     

    Again, seriously? Class Quests are not intended to be your sole leveling path. Deal with it and play the game. Or leave.

     

     

     

    It feels like this game is too much oriented to leveling instead of endgame...

     

    Ahhhhhh, got it. You're one of those. "Too much" for you maybe. This is a story driven game and has been advertised as such since day one. Working as intended. Maybe you just aren't a good fit for the game, or for the community, you know what I'm saying?

     

     

     

    My sub will run out tomorrow and im gonna take a few months break.

     

    Perhaps use the time to try out a couple more of those Korean pewpew grinders and maybe take a few remedial English classes. Sounds like that'd be a better fit for you, and for us.

    I am rerolling Empire and rolling a Sorcerer because they the most OP class in the game and they will NEVER be nerfed because all BW devs play one.

    Be aware that there are at least two equal and opposing schools of thought on this.

     

    - Yes, you can need on anything.

    - No, you should need only on whole items you can use.

     

    Neither is inherently wrong or right, but rather a valid and important difference of opinion. You should work this out with your party beforehand to avoid people getting angry with you for needing where you shouldn't, and to avoid getting screwed because others are needing where you feel they shouldn't.

     

     

     

    So the answer is, it doesn't matter what all these random voices on the internet think.

     

    The only thing in the world that matters is what the people in your party think.

    Good luck in life, child. If this is how you handle a game that doesn't instantly fulfill all your special snowflake needs and desires then work, relationships, and your future in general are going to be utterly miserable for you, and the ***** is you're never going to understand why.

    My reply to the OP was a legitimate question as to what he was inquiring after – did “they were not going to all come out” refer to simple content updates, timeline expanding expansions, something in between, or something entirely else. What I wrote did not “bash his head in”. More insouciant than you were happy with, obviously, but I’m sure that you can’t easily or decisively determine specifically what the OP was actually asking either.

     

    And yeah, I mistook your reply for the OP’s on a quick read. My bad, and apologies for confusing him for you. On balance though I’d absolutely prefer to continue the convo with the OP than you because while the OP simply asked a poorly phrased question he didn’t do anything to suggest that he’s anywhere near the sort of poor tempered *** you seem to be.

     

    Sorry for giving others the opportunity to derail the thread. BoazX – what is it exactly that you’re wondering about? And when you say "finished" what exactly do you mean?

    Dude, your lack of command of English seems to be fairly low on the list of challenges you face in life. Sorry if my question offended your thin-skinned *** but what you wrote was ambiguous at best and closer to nonsensical even taking into account context at worst. YOUR problem, not mine...

    I remember them saying they were not going to all come out before the game released, but they haven't had a single update on it since the game came out. Just wondering when they would release more.

     

    Well, eventually the universe will succumb to heat-death and everything will pretty much come to an end, but I don’t think that’s what you’re talking about. On that point though, what is it that you are talking about? What is this “they”, “all”, and “it” you are referring to?

    yeah right! For every pro gamer there is 10 window-licking, keyboard turning, "I fail in game but am a millionaire senator irl" players. They will listen to the scrubs who suck so bad that they are scarred about damage meters pulling their card of fail.

     

    That shoiuld be, "...there are 10 window-licking, keyboard turning, 'I fail in game but am a millionaire senator irl' players." "Players" is plural you see. That's English 101 bucko. Take about pulling a fail card!

     

    Any of the folks you are trying so very hard to troll here could turn right around and say to you, "You fail in life, but are a hardcore super-l33t ig." So, who's really better off here?

    I love to whine on these forums, but now I'm reading all these threads about people whining about all the whining on the forums. If you meta-whiners don't like the whining, it's simple ... don't read it! Please allow us whiners who love to whine, to whine in peace.

     

    So, you believe that a select few of you should be allowed to run like spoiled, hissying brats all up and down these forums and then turn around and more or less demand that the rest of us consider ourselves to be bound to engage in patient, indulgent restraint and not call you on it?     I hope they put that back in. I want to force choke my enemies in support of the republic, not sit by using silly little pebble throws that the jedi counsul approves of.

     

    Not supported by canon and as such not the sort of characters or situations that the Devs wanted (or were likely allowed) to put in the game. Maybe if they add an innate or "neutral" force-user class at some point down the road you might see something like what you describe but heroic (ie, player...) Jedi just don't use ever use Dark Side abilities, nor would someone that even really wanted to do so ever be allowed to become a Jedi to begin with. You want to employ Dark Force, play Sith. It's just that simple...

    Because there's this utterly stupid underlying idea that for a man to take the role of a woman is a step down, somehow degrading his masculine identity. That he's somehow less of a person if he isn't constantly reinforcing his masculinity through everything he does, which comes hand-in-hand with the very ugly idea that women are lesser people.

    This also ties with how being a gay male is viewed as being more like a woman than a man, thus not a human of equal value.
