  1. we're on the way that next patch, hitting hidden strike will just make your agent stab themselves in the face.

I await this glorious and hilarious day, the smuggler version will be even better.

    lmao!

  2. Help Bioware I create threads crying about other people crying my tear glands are dry.

So many people crying about other people crying on threads its crazy it needs a nerf .

Help Bioware I create posts crying about other people's threads crying about other people crying about the game. /0

  3. ACs?

im assuming you mean lets not try and make them into something they arent right?

well what are agents at the moment?....

So why not change it up? Giving the class a 20m range would make mobility much more of a non-issue, because youre almost always in range anyway and your current playstyle is barely altered except that now you can make better use of LOS, you can kite melee and stay in range of ranged.

I enjoy playing my sniper, at the upper end of the level cap, we get a decent variety of pvp utilities. ambush followed by leg shot is great, as well as coverpulse with the +2 meter spec, flashbang helps even for setting up a nice coverpulse to shove a player right off the edge of the map in voidstar (I got three at once one time), or off the ramparts in huttball.

I'm not disagreeing that we could really use a ranged stun, I would love it if they would give us more utility. Also, the nerfs to operatives apparently suck for concealment specs in PVE.

Your ideas look like you put a lot of time into them, but it would just make the operative way overpowered. Its a huge change to the class, its definitely never gonna happen.

I mean come on you're giving all kinds of slows, stuns, and dots to the operative; they would be unbeatable.

You might as well propose a new operative-like class. lol

    Also ACs mean Advanced Classes.....

  4. Ok, I plan on mainly running Raids and HM's and trying to get myself geared up when I hit 50 with some pvp mixed in. As lv 44 I think I can be able to finish Voss tonight (I hope), What is a good level to be able to run all the way through Corellia without having to stop to grind lvs?

Probably level 47-48. The starting side quests are level 47.

Although, I've been having trouble finishing some of the elites on side quests because I decided to rush through Voss (I started Voss at like 45 1/2). So, I think my companions and myself are a little under-geared. Making it extremely difficult to kill certain elites, especially one specific robot on the Drell side mission, even though I'm equal level to it.

I decided to go gain a level (to be lvl 48) via PvP/FPs before going back to Corriellia.

I'm really trying to save my funds for the lvl 50 artifact armoring mods, etc.

  5. technically we just said there are cookies - this does not equal cookies for you or that you could see said cookies. The cookies are there. You will learn about the cookies later..................maybe.

lol hilarious, and now set as sig.

  6. I am, because at the time the players didn't know without a SHADOW of a doubt that they were "exploiting" according to BioWare, because as it's been said, those turrets were destructable before the patch.

If BioWare absolutely feels they have to roll back valor, so be it, but punishing anyone's account is absolutely dead wrong -- and I don't even have a 50, I just know B.S. when I smell it.

Well, after reading Gank's post (lol at the appropriate name considering the situation), among others, I think I tend to agree with you now.

I suppose at least I can admit my faults - in that I spoke without knowing exactly what PvP on Ilum was. And under the assumption that there were objectives on the planet BEFORE the patch.

It somewhat seems like more of a misunderstanding if they really did set an objective over the spawn points. Basically like telling people to go blow that turret up, then penalizing them for following the instructions.

So, if that is indeed the case, I've changed my mind. At least I can admit that.

  7. GENERALLY I'd agree, but this game breaks every rule of PVP I've ever known, so I'm not sure what is considered working as intended or truly broken.

Who'd of thought that putting level 50s in pvp gear with full talents and experience playing vs level 10s would have been a good idea... but they did...

Valid point. PvP WZs sucked there for a while.

Yet, now that you know it wasn't meant to be an intended feature, you are still against them rolling Valor back for those that gained it unfairly?

  8. BioWare finds it easier to punish players than to own up to their own botched design.

If the game allowed me to camp my enemies and get valor for it, then I will, because as far as I know it's "working as intended."

Does it suck? Yea, but it also sucked when I was level 20 fighting against level 50s. That sucked, but it was "working as intended," so why am I to assume one advantage is unfair when another advantage is intended?

    Dumb BioWare, dumb.

    And to Ike

I definitely can see where you guys are coming from. However, I'm not entirely sure that you would see camping a spawn point with 10 others and endlessly killing Rep's one at a time as "working as intended". Especially since it only became doable immediately after a patch.

Maybe I retract my "delete the character's statement." Maybe. But a rollback to before the exploiting took place is definitely not an unfair slight against those who took advantage of the temporary glitch in the system.

The bonus valor points that were earned because of the exploit are now an unfair bonus compared others that didn't take advantage of the "misunderstanding" (that you claim it is). If you look at it that way. I say this not because I'm disappointed I was not there to unfairly slay the Republic characters one after another with you, but because some people had a temporary unfair advantage over the other team.

TL;DR = Even though I play Imperial side, and can see where you are coming from. I find it hard to believe that camping a spawn point to where the Republic players have no chance at fighting back whatsoever could ever be construed as the game "working as intended".

  9. I would turn this around, the only ones crying for punishments to be dished out are those that feel they got "exploited".

Haha, you could try, but you would fail. I wasn't even on the game the day this happened. My only Republic character is level 13.

If people had a sense of ethics, then they wouldn't have cheated. Apparently you're one of the cheaters?

  10. Whoever told you that it isn't retroactive got you good. Regardless of when the character was made, once you hit the end of Chapter 1 and create a legacy it is applied to all characters.

Haha yeah they did. I may have read that before launch. Or during early access. That is good to know, I'm not so worried now.

Still a lot seems to be lacking with it huh? Maybe the implementation is just a little behind... I think it's an interesting idea, I know many people are not going to like being restricted to one surname per server. Hopefully they'll change it to one legacy, different surnames, eventually.

  11. I have looked all over the forums for info on the legacy system and cannot find any threads on it (a search feature would help). I read somewhere though that the legacy points system isn't retroactive for alts that already exist before you get one character through Act 1. Is this true?

So am I being basically penalized for having several different characters between level 10-20, instead of creating those characters after I have gotten my main through Act 1. If that is the case, it is rediculous for those of us who like playing and leveling more than 1 character at a time. It will basically mean a loss of about 50-70 legacy points between my 5 characters simply because I made them before my main reaches the Legacy mission.

Also, what good are legacy points anyway? What do you upgrade with them?
