  1. A week later and not one post in here from any of the devs addressing anyone with a concern or even a joke response to a white knight.

     

    Kinda feels just like the year long, 10 year celebration drive by. I rejoined in the middle of it and honestly I don't see any evidence of an event going on.

     

    At least over on Dungeons and Dragons Online they have repeatable missions that offer dev commentary and jokes in game. You guys couldn't even muscle that out?

     

    Like give us a fever dream mission that just goes through favorite parts of working on the game, villains and heroes you wish you could do. Bloopers from recording lines etc.

  2. Being of a somewhat masochistic bent, I just finished HK for the 35th time. I will not buy him... I can say that, the low statistical significance of 35 samples taken into consideration, I have most often found the part along the wall to the left when you enter. From the first group of enemies and to the tents on the other side of the rotunda. O fcourse, there have been a couple of strays, in the centre and elsewhere, but usually in that area. Good Luck!

    And announce that you're scanning, often there will be others as mentioned above.

     

    I know people hate necroing but its this or making another post that which people will complain "why you makin a new post when there's hundreds like it waaa waaa waa"

     

    So Thank you Berntk it was literally right there on the left hand side. Despite every old guard in general telling me to run around the place in circles scanning every 5m. I highly doubt Bioware or any dev team are going to take the time to code an entire zone as random location for an item. There are probably set locations. Why do I say this? Cause I've yet to read a post with it spawning IN a wall or object. That's what random does, happened in EQ with crafting nodes. for me it was -3014, 2888. Good luck.

  3. They changed it because it had targeting issues, if you used the old rapid shot with no target (with the healing cylinder active) the players expected you to self heal, wich you couldnt. So it became a clunky mechanic that didnt work well. Now we have this instead and while it may not be a perfect solution it´s still loads better then the earlier version.

     

    So, you hit F1 and target yourself. That's pretty much how most mmo's work with group targeting. Also could have sworn I was healing myself when I had no target with it.

  4. What on earth was the point of removing it from being one ability. Yeah I get it kolto isn't an aoe anymore fine.

     

    But why separate rapid shot's heal into a new ability? Why take up another icon slot for something that did the same thing before? I guess they want non subs to have less room on their bars? Fine, can just keep the skill window open and cast from there.

     

    Even though it's impossible to be a hybrid anymore, I'm glad I can still help heal when we have a issue in a group but honestly why separate an ability? If I see the healer having issues I'm not going to keep gas on, I'll switch to support shot anyway. So there is no need to yank that out of those skills.

  5. The ability to use any weapon for appearance only. Not class restrictive.

     

    Before the pvpers get their panties in a bunch about not being able to tell class based on weapon. (I say this because it's the typical response in any game.)

    Users can have an option in their settings to see appearance weapons or not for other players. Bam no more "But I can't tell what class they are waaah." >_>
