I think this may go down as the worst MMO launch ever, even Bioware must now realise the EGA staggering was a huge mistake. Other companies will be watching all this playing out and I bet they are chuckling to themselves, what a complete PR disaster this has been.
Yes I know it's not technically an official launch on paper but you all know it actually is the launch of SWTOR.

Do you have any actual empirical evidence or data that states what point they're up to in the waves or is this more baseless speculation?

I would wait to grade when the game actually launches. At this point though I give a tenative A. Due to the good idea of staggering out the launch.
I would be willing to bet anyone who does not like this launch idea is just acting like a child because they are not in yet.

I don't know who they think they are fooling. The game released yesterday not on the 20th. The majority of players that will be playing on the 20th have pre ordered the game so by them not being able to play on the day that other people are already playing make it LATE access not early. This is simply the worst launch I have ever seen. I would rather a WoW like launch then having to wait DAYS for a game that is ALREADY RELEASED.

Not sure how people call this a fail launch, its not over and above all you don't know what benchmark the company set up as the definition for a sucessful launch or not.
On second thought never mind, understanding anything I have to say requires critical thinking.
