  1. ok if shadow assassin get 150% and 20% more armor which is additive from what i know on a lvl 50 rakata light chest armor you get 1231 armor and on heavy you get 1377.6 so a pissing war with armor jugs win

     

     

    also will an assassin have the force needed to keep all the abilities up in a long fight? how easy will it be to balance defense and glancing rating? are there not more important stats for you? i only ask this last part because i just dont know to be honest and i only bring up the first two points because its the little something i can say

  2. i would have to say this is the best thread. all great points. BW does need to address the fact that we have savage kick and pommel strike dont work. how about make it work all the time but with the added effects they do more instead of being dependent on them to be used, and it would be nice to know if sonic barrier did get better with glancing and absorbing rating.
  3. i hate to ask but are mobs like mobs in wow where a lvl 50 raid boss is 3 lvls higher or are they just 50, im only lvl 25 so i dont know.

     

    and looking at "the best gear" on darth hater is there a point to putting the tallent points into more accuracy when the implants give you lots of accuracy rating.

     

    lastly assuming i have max armor would increasing our shield chance and absorbing be our best increase in stats as a pose to defense rating since avoiding damage lowers rage building

  4. Did you start counting them to? because compared to most MMO its alot, i have hotkey icons filled over spanding little over 3hotkey bars filled out at r41.

     

    Which makes me wish we had a custom UI, we could make like alot of other MMOs.

     

    you dont want to open up custom ui changes at start. you would never know what crap is out there. BUT i do want a custom ui mostly because i feel like i look at my hot bar more then the rest of the game.

     

    as for me when it come to the game i have yet to hit a snag but i only hit the 3rd planet. IMO the bloat is only there if you got in your head that you need all the skills, there all useful but you dont need all for every fight. also i dont think i had trouble in the 10-20 is i got lucky in black talon, but as imortal if you dont order mark targets its easy to lose a mob with our lack of aoe.

     

    also there is no need for one tank class to be the best tank for all aspects of the game. but other then that i love them and the animation is nice.

  5. A Juggernaut has three trees. One for tanking, two for damage.

     

    A Powertech has three trees. One for tanking, two for damage.

     

    An Assassin has three trees. One for tanking, two for damage.

     

    All three are viable tanks. All three should be viable damage; two classes are viable damage. Guess which one isn't?

     

    Juggernauts are not only "tanks". Powertech are not only "tanks". Assassins are not only "tanks". Why are you telling Juggernauts that its' okay their damage is subpar because they are tanks but aren't screaming about the other tanks' significantly better damage?

There is a clear hierarchy in certain skills that serve similar purposes, but you prefer one over the other unless you can't use that skill (e.g. sundering assault over assault unless SA is on cooldown). RIFT's system where you could "overload" a keybind and it would cast the first spell/ability in the list that was castable at that time is a way to streamline things a bit without reducing the variety of the class or creating balancing issues inherent in changing abilities such as removing the CD from SA.

     

    why automate the game. you asking to take the player out of the game and just watch a video with that.

  7. Who gives a crap about leveling? It's so easy. I've barely been playing adn im level 25 already. I just set up my skills on my hotbar in order of their priority. It's really simple to see what's coming up next or what you need to do. Please don't make this class easy. I like that we have tons of skills. It makes me feel versatile. Also, they are supposed to be a class that is ****** with a lightsaber. You don't see them spamming the same 3 moves over and over again in the movies. I like the way it looks. Every skill has a different animation. I LOVE the way the juggernaut plays.

     

    i would have to agree the animation is great and i would not like to see it made easy.

I can't say i see how there complicated at all. i do agree there "seems" to be to many abilities but if you really look at what the jug has you can make "simple" rotations the fit the situation. if anything i see them as the most versatile class for tanking. but how about we revisit this when people have done all the end game content and can make a real judgement.
