  1. After having transferred 7 out of 8 characters from Trask Ulgo to The Progenitor, I apparently have a ghost-character or something as it lists me as having 8 on The Progenitor. But logging in I still have the initial 7 characters there and 1 that I could not transfer because the system thinks there are 8 there.

     

    I noticed this when I first started transfers in that it always listed 1 more character on the destination server than there was in reality.

     

    So much for a transfer system. Allowed to transfer my 8 characters, but not being allowed to tranfer my 8th character because the system is borked up and thinks there are already 8 on the destination server.

     

    Combined with the fact that I was forced to change the name of my favorite character *AND* my Legacy name (!!), you can imagine that this was the final straw for me. I chose my Legacy name for a reason and was a pre-order subscriber!

     

    theres apparently a workaround for that.. create then delete a character on progenitor

  2. I have one big concern about these server transfers.

     

    The current stance of Bioware seems to be at the moment to hold off on opening more servers up for transfer to get a better idea of how the population will be affected on destination servers.

    The concern I have for the European PVE servers is that currently, out of 20 servers, 9 of which have been transferred to Red Eclipse. What happens if they open up a further 5 servers to Red Eclipse and then decide that Red Eclipse is full? The remaining 5 servers would have a vastly reduced population compared to Red Eclipse. Would they then allow people to transfer off of Red Eclipse? And would people want to.

     

    As far as I see it, there are 2 options.

    1) Allow every remaining English PVE (European) server to transfer to Red Eclipse now, which carries the risk of over populatiing the server.

    2) Pick a destination server from the remaining 10 and open up transfers to that for the remaining 9 servers.

     

    Anything else could leave to completely imbalanced server population.

     

    Also, throw the PVE servers a bone here, ALL of the European English PVP servers (20!) have transfers open to one server, whereas only half of the PVE servers have got transfers up

  3. If you play dark side republic, your abilities should change to dark side versions.

    Eg, a Jedi sage at dark 2, would occasionally use force lightning instead of telekinetic throw, getting more often as your alignment goes darker, finally changing totally to force lightning at dark V.

     

    And vice versa for light side empire.

    And you still haven't suggested anything. You've complained, called someone a carebear, but haven't actually made a suggestion.

    Btw, I play a sentinel and it's far and away my most powerful class.

  6. So, coming up with the idea of adding a second companion to the roster, but not gaining the tactical advantages therein, completely rendering the point null and useless...is just because "It's there".

    Pretty much spot on.. Actually adding another companion at full strength would make it too easy.. I just feel that half the companions never do anything because we all have a preferred companion.. Just thought itd be nice to get them some screen time ya know?

  7. What's the point of the majority of current legacy bonuses? If people want to use different race/class/faction combinations they will, if people wanna use more than one companion (if it were available that is) even though it would give them no actual benefit then they will. (exhibit a - all the chiss Jedi running about)
  8. People seem to be missing the point here

    The point isn't to be able to use an extra companion and be able to solo group stuff. I'd like it to balance out so that you + 2 companions is the same strength as you + 1 companion. This is purely a "social" perk as it were.

     

    I repeat, you would not be any stronger with 2 companions that you would with 1. You WOULD still need to group with people to do group missions

    Allow us to have 2 companions. But do a -50% debuff on ALL stats and damage for the companions, and -25% for the player. The game was designed around one companion. Why go through all the effort to redevelop every area to fit with 2 companions?

     

    Been seeing your posts all over the place today and can never quite tell if you're being sarcastic or not lol

     

    The whole point of my suggestion wasn't to make things easier, just more interesting. You have a whole crew, using only one at a time seems a waste ya know?

  10. or an in-game voting system. Like when an issue's come up a fair bit and they're thinking of implementing a big change, invite all players to vote and add comments. Either in-game somewhere or on the log-in screen. That way you get an opinion all as many players as you possibly could. Not for every little thing, but just some things every now and then.

  11. Would quite like to see a system in place to allow you to use multiple companions at once.

    To stop this making people completely overpowered add a 25% damage reduction to you and your companions, stacking for each companion beyond the first.

     

    This is just a vague idea, however I'm sure it could be balanced fairly easily.
