  1. 1. I had an op healer many months ago that stealthed, traded me 3 med packs and wished me "good luck, that's how I heal." I quit.

    2. My friend (Sin tank) and I (Op healer) were in cadi and we had a DPS merc that had his aim and strength balanced. exactly. like he sat there and thought about it. He also had no enhancements or relics or implants. My friend and I could only assume he thought all that enhancing was unnatural. the sad part? we were so desperate to finish a FP we just went it and finished with a good deal of work.

  2. The first time you run an op, especially if it's not with people you normally run PvE stuff with, it will take a long long time. Also, generally you need atleast half-coulmi (PvE gear) or half battlemaster (pvp gear) to be ready for the easiest ops. Atleast that's what i've experienced/seen/heard. ALso depends on your role. DPS can go through with slightly less gear on storymode ops.
  3. Skipping most of voss at your level wasn't a great idea, though I do understand hating a planet...(I'm looking at you Balmorra....) so what I would do is try to do as much of corellia as you can, it's a bit long but the EXP is amazing. You should make it, if only barely, to 50. if you don't then maybe run pvp until you hit 50. or do Illum sure, but illum is...meh.
  4. While it would be easier to answer you question with a set of each given as an example, I'll go with: "Kind of, sorta."

The main thing is that expertise is useless outside of PvP so you have a stat that does nothing for you. However, Stat wise yes it is generally better than Tionese and most coulmi pieces. (Though the coulmi set bonuses are generally better i my opinion.) Rakata and up however is better than BM.

Just my opinion based on what i'veseen and experienced.

  5. Ever since I saw that cinematic "Hope" with her blocking a lightsaber with her hand I've wanted my character (sith warrior) to put her head on spit.

And since we empire players are forced to kill Malgus in False Emperor. If given the option any half sane empire player would choose to help Malgus not kill him.

It's only fair we get kill Satele Shan too. How can you take the imperial iconic paragon character and leave the republic character completely intact. How is that fair? And it completely violates the theme of balance in the Star Wars.

So where's the flashpoint with players finally get to confront Satele Shan? I expect the flashpoint would have to play like a Malestorm prison to The foundry type of angle where repubes help her and imps kill her.

    False. Just. False. because...

Malgus is a heretic and decieved the empire, ergo, he deserves to die.

  6. Any other seer out there nagged by doubts when reaching for their AoE heal?

    1) Will the fight be 30m to the left by the time I get this cast?

    2) Will I be the only 1 standing in this AoE, Again?

    3) Would I be better off with an instant + Deliverance or HT ? split between 2 targets

    4) Am I going to have time for a Noble sac to bring the effective cost of Salvation down?

    5) Exactly how many ticks have to land, on how many players, with my build, for Salvation to be the right choice?

    6) Are my teammates Interrupts on CD, and will this land right before everyone scatters?

    7) Would I have come out ahead resource wise, if I end up needing the Conveyance proc on my next cast, but I put it on CD before I cast Salvation. Or, put another way ~ did I just rob Peter to pay Paul?

I'm to the point with Salvation I don't use it unless I need to stand in it myself for Noble Sac. And I feel like at best, about all it's doing for me is saving me 1 global cool down. Not that 1 GCD isn't signifigant, because it's 1 more cast in a tight squeeze. But it's like Benevolence. If everyone else plays pretty well, and I do my job pretty well, I don't feel like I ever really NEED it.

It makes me wonder if some hybrid Seer specs arn't more viable than I think.......

Okay, I run with a seer spec all the time on my republic guys and I know what works super well for him is to toss this cast out every chance he gets and tell us to stand in in it. it makes his healing easier and I don't die. just a thought, not saying you're wrong friend. :)

  7. Also keep in mind that there's a natural hatred of Merc healers for some reason. Which is why i only heal when with friends because general response is "Oh S*** a merc healer, we're screwed."

But more to your question: 200 should be perfect.

  8. My advice as a Merc Healer: Just because we wear heavy armor doesn't mean we are super tank like healers. if we get hit, it hurts like a mother.... so if you team with a Merc healer, please for the love of raptor jesus, keep the mobs off him/her like any other healer. Thank you! :D
  9. Cool I appreciate it.:) I think I'm. Going Ebon Hawk if anyone wants to Rp with me sometime. :) I just need to get a character out.l..

Funny story, that's the server im on! so if your character happens to be a jedi i can recommend a great RP guild I personally know!

  10. 1. Yeah, but most people RP in guild chat, /say, or ops groups. if you RP in general chat people will get mad.

    2. Yes there are still warzones.

    3. Nah, you can RP whatever way you want. the story and your RP dont have to be the same.

  11. I Quite like the idea of a new lord of hunger. Not anywhere near as powerful as Nihilus im sure, but it would make sense for an Inquisitor chapter 4? I mean, binding all the ghosts is a nice prequel to becoming lord of hunger, etc... And "Inq name" Lord of Huger, would make a great title :D

    Oh gosh...I hadn't considered this...I...I love it.
