Thats how most real players feel.
Fanboi noobs logging in for 1 hour on weekends to kill some random mobs wouldn't understand how raiding works.

Hate it or love it, WOW has been a huge success.
Part;y because of it's high customization (ton of different addons, UI options, all kinds of combat logs).
Its dying out only because of the burnout (being very old + stale/recycled content, etc).

I'm on the fence about mods and DPS meters.
As far as mods are concerned, they too often become required to do certain things, and that detracts from the fun. And let's not forget about that BS with GearScore in WoW.
I'm not condemning mods to death, but I don't think they're required for a good game, nor should we be to hasty to bring them in.
feel free to not use them.

- allow UI customization / mods
- Combat logs
- Threat Meters
- DPS meters
IF BW gets this going, it's 90% of the success right there.

The engine is horribly coded. I have an i7 at 4.1 ghz, SLI 580 gtx, and an SSD, but I still get 3-4 minute load times.
i have an i7 at 3.3ghz, ATI 5970 and an OCZ SSD
my load times are 20 sec

Iallowing everyone to do that just brings up drama and people bashing on each other instead of focusing on the task at hand.
how can you focus on the task in hand if you have no idea who is sitting with a thumb in their ass, doing jack sheet and holding the raid back?

No to a threat meter. It's a crutch that removes any kind of challenge. I don't know about you, but when I play a game I don't just want to follow the on-screen instructions.
Sometimes a bit of mental involvement isn't that bad.
Don't want it = don't use.
Just don't ruin it for people who need it.

DPS meter / Threat Meter / COmbat Logs are needed very badly.
Make it happen.

Chat bubbles are useless and I do not want to see them cluttering things up. I vote no on chat bubbles.

There's already a fairly busy thread on this topic. Combat log is something I'd say is "badly needed", but a threat meter/damage meter is purely cosmetic. It would make things easier, but it's not "needed badly".
How would you know that someone in your raid are AFKing while the rest people are busy killing the boss, unless you can check their DPS/Healing performance?
Besides, the DPS meter is already built in the game (you can see the DPS in warzones stats). So it's just a matter of BW allowing us to use it.

Besides, in RL there are laws restricting you from shooting people in the head.
In SWTOR there are no rules saying that you cant press need on something.

Don't need it - fine, don't use it, no one is forcing you, you can play the game however you like. But dont ruin it for other people.

It wasn't about the crit, it's about the base stats, in this case being Cunning. Warriors get nothing from Cunning.
There are no Warriors in SWTOR.

Combat logs are the very basic game tools.
You can't run a proper raid without them.
Raid needs to know what people aren't doing their class jobs properly.

Many people had much higher expectations when coming to Swtor , me being one of them. It just didn't live up to the hype for many people, now its up to Bioware to address some of these issues.
I havent unsubscribed (i'm not hurting for money) but the last time i logged in to the game was 2 days ago. Everything is so bad, i can't bring myself to play.
How can you run an Operation without a basic threat meter / combat logs? And the UI is horrible, i can't even put all my abilities in the quickslots cause there isn't enough of them. Game fails at the most basic stuff.
