  1. Chase people? wth are you talking about.

     

    -Tank boss against wall on steps everyone grouped up - avoids knockbacks/helps with healing.

     

    -When he gets to w/e percent that phase 2 starts drag him to the edge, with the tanks back to a pillar, so he doesn't get knocked off.

     

    -He casts "force lightning" or w/e it's called, do first knock-back which interrupts his cast, then IMMEDIATELY do second knock-back to push him off edge..

     

    Very simple.

     

    When i say chase.. I mean CC everybody then attack the person Not CC'd. If he dies during this phase, He does not need to go off the edge. Even the phase when the 1 person is stunned and the rest are about to be. You can kill him any time during this 30 second time frame.

  2. I think it's safe to say you've seen a minimal amount if not zero endgame content based on your post (sorry bud). This also applies to about 70% of the people posting on this jugg subforum tbh so don't feel to bad.

     

    Everyone can all agree aoe tanking is not the jugg's strong point but it's doable. There are tricks to getting them together the main one being just LoS'ing them or having your dps push/pull them to you. However, keeping aggro on all of them once you got them is the tricky part.

     

    Well the fact that I've tanked every HM FP(In dps gear and spec) and cleared EV and bonethrasher(also tanking in dps gear and spec), I have seen alot of endgame content. Majority of the mobs that need tanking are easily tanked. The dps should rip apart the non strong/elites. Tanking in Swtor isn't just glueing 10 mobs to you and hopeing to hold them.

    Sure some mobs are ranged, But they should die all the same. Its not like tanking in this game is hard or anything.

  3. Dam right we aren't Im a full champion geared Jugg Rage spec I get 5800-6000+ crits all the time. I am hitting as hard as snipers are at this point. The thing with rage tree though is timing you can't just smash your face against the key board and expect to do great damage.

     

    ^^ This.. You have to plan what you want to kill. Build up your stacks then charge in and smash. More then likely you will have killed 1-2 low health people and crippled the rest, Rinse and repeat.

  4. Well most of the crewskills have their own little perks, But biochem gets way more then otheres. They can get uber implant patterns which can be mastercrafted, plus the stims. If you can mastercraft the artifice relics (dont know if you can or not) They would be pretty decent.
  5. Umm mobs dont work. Many times have i seen the low lvs standing right next tot he mobs without them being agro'd,To my understanding(I may be wrong and they may be expliting) there is a grace period when you die, that when you sue a medical probe. A mob wont agro you. but if you dont move they will never agro you. Looting a chest takes less then 1 sec and with auto loot, Just die and wait for the probe to be off Cd, then ress and do it again. But yes they do get banned. I have reported numerous and i have never seen them again.
  6. With immortal spec you will find when leveling that you actually won't need quinn at all.. Use veete and let her nuke them all down while tanking. Quinn is only good as a dps spec. And if you are going to level as DPS, Go rage and 1shot many of the mobs with smash. Vengeance is weak because of the small dots that are added into the spec. But it still does roughly the same dps is rage single target at endgame, If not a little more if you optimize the rotation.

    I think that powertechs and assassins do more PvE dps as tanks, but of course I don't know for sure. The equivalently geared/skilled powertech in my guild is on a ski trip, when he gets back, we're gonna go time how long it takes us to get a low level world boss to ~25% and we'll see who does it faster.

    Who says you have to be in immortal spec to tank? Rage or even vengence are fine tanks for hardmode FPs.. Just because a tree says its for tanking doesnt mean you have to use it.

  8. From what I have seen whacking on Heroic world bosses with 0 mechanics and timing myself and some guildies. Juggs in vengence and rage spec do roughly around the same dps. Bounty hunters get over heated fairly fast if they are unlucky with crits and procs, but on a good day they do a little bit more then juggs equally geared.. and maurauders do a bit more then them.. Jugg dps is fine as you can tank HM FPs and even raids as a dps specced jugg, wearing dps gear and still do fine.
