  1. To bring our Flag Ships bridge to life I suggest a range of personnel that are seated, meaning when we have computer stations / radar tables etc we can have actual ppl sat on a chair operating them. This could also be expanded for working engineers welding away etc.
  2. I don't think that's the solution, I'm on tofn and before the merger I was on LC so I feel your pain. The root problem is a lack of meaningful content. Until that gets addressed, continually addressed not a rehashed OP / FP to paper over the cracks then there will always be people quitting or un-subbing for large periods of time.

I understand that the Cartel market is a money spinner, but it's only a money spinner when there are people logging in regularly and being tempted to make a purchase.

  3. Are there any math nerds out there to sit through a few parses for us :)

My threat generation seems pretty low and I'm constantly wrestling against dps for aggro. I can do it, but usually it's pretty hard work, even single target boss fights unless I use my taunts on every cd.

Healing wise my healers love it, I don't take a lot of damage unless it's a pretty nasty pull. I also have a (sage) healer and I believe I'm comparable to the rest of the guild tanks for taking damage, certainly we don't have all the def cd's the others have, but I think that side is more or less ok.

Damage output has definitely suffered imo, but yeah the threat output is my biggest concern. I don't see a lot of posts or QQ about it tho, very strange... math nerds to the rescue? :D

  4. Something Doesn’t Add Up!

Players on our Public Test Server (PTS) have noticed that the point totals for each Achievement category don’t necessarily match up with the visible point totals for all Achievements within those categories. You are quite correct! The numbers do not always add up. Maybe there’s something hidden waiting to be discovered…

Probably just a bug, when something is discovered in swtor 90% of the time its's a bug, the other 10% it's an exploit

  5. Hey all,

I've finally dragged my rep up to friend with the Gree because of the armour that's available. It looks really good I think, with the exception of that ugly looking headpiece.

Colour match doesn't seem to work at all, it mainly seems to turn everything black, no red on anything, even with helmets that would appear to have a glow effect of some sort on them. The tank vanguard BM head doesn't look right with the "fin" (for want of a better word) on top of it and the red doesn't match either.

Has anyone found a decent looking helmet to go with these cool Gree armours yet?

  6. I don't find it suspicious, I believe that it will generate money for them from the FTP community. I think that those that reach lvl 50 will be more inclined to buy the expansion for the extra content and that is only a good thing.

I didn't realize that it coincided with an upcoming quarterly report and I don't think it will plump the figures up too much, I could be wrong about this but I don't find it suspicious, only good business :)

  7. I foresee a flurry of unsubscribers if this proves to be the case.

I'm hoping it's just the usual swtor patch note terrible description being applied, much like the ftp / preferred experience decrease, I mean increase or increased decrease, or something, as described a few places below.

  8. Every time there is a change in the community team we see for a few weeks an upswing in interaction, but it goes down soon enough... and this time they got rid of what was left of the German and French community team, so those community are already far worse off.

This unfortunately, it seems that someone joins the team full of good ideas and wanting to provide a great community experience, then for some reason the communication dries up, whether this is something to do with BW utilising them in a different position / adding to their job description / BW being too restrictive as to what they can and can't say or they are appointing the wrong people, who knows. By all accounts those recently departed were perceived by the forum users as good and competent.

Your best guess is as good as mine as to why this happens. :(

  9. It's pretty handy if you have a character that's hardly played except to make use of their crew skills. I have all the ship unlocks so all i do is craft, send mats back and forth and list stuff on the gtn. Logging onto the ship area also has the added benefit of quicker load times and fps.

The GTN is the same as the fleet / capitals / nar shadda, it lists all items for sale from both factions.

  10. I'd get rid of the event, for no other reason than its boring as hell, plus I don't like rep grinds. Server stability wise I'm very pleased with it, for some reason my fps has increased, I have my graphics set to max 60 fps idling and 25-30 while pvping / ops, now its 80+ idling :)

The only 2 bugs I have came across are the Quick Travel bug in Ilum and the GTN search ( not technically a bug, but it sure as hell shouldn't be there).

The server maintenance is a complete crapper tho, I didn't mind the first time, but this time it's 4-6 pm GMT :s

  11. Tank companions are probably the best, make sure to keep them well geared tho' that way they do more dps, and because you don't need to spam heal them, you can do more dps.

Send tank in, give it a few seconds to grab aggro from all, then aoe like a good'un = all dead :)
