  1. Strikes can get directional shield which will flip shield strength around, but that is the only way to do it, I don't know the purpose of the arrows and equal sign outside of that, with directional shields the arrows and equal sign will highlight depending on where your shield focus is.
  2. Someone on another forum tried to justify it by comparing it to SWG, where you had different housing "sizes". I never played SWG though so I'm inclined to think it's BS.

It's true swg had different housing sizes and thus had a different storage limit. For small/medium houses you could have up to 200 items. For large houses and guild halls you could have up to 400-500 items (depending on style). Then ships that allowed other people on board also had their own item limit. (75 for most, 150 for gunboats if I remember correctly).

  3. Hmmm, 133884, wonder why it is so high, I did pre-order and even posted on the forums during the closed beta the summer before the release, although I guess that forum account is not the same. Also I guess it is the fact that I did not make my first "post launch" post until after a few days.
  4. Alright so I have re-subscribed to TOR from long ago (again) and am facing a similar question I had long ago about my old pvp gear. Last time I re-subbed my old Battlemaster gear actually did me more harm than good in warzones while leveling. Now I have returned again and have a mixture of partisan and conqueror gear(mostly conqueror), my question is if this is alright to use or if I should go with the 162 greens. I do obtain the 2018 expertise but notice my health sits around 32k (which seems low) with around 21% crit and 72% surge and about 2900 main stat (have multiple guys 55-59, this includes some augments (older) and stim). I have read several threads about people saying the Obroan and (cant remember the other one) are alright to use, but saw no mention of the stuff that predates it (partisan and conqueror) I am sitting at level 59 right now (on two characters) and will have a decent amount of comms to get the new pvp gear, but I will still need to plug in the holes, so do I use my old partisan/conqueror gear or use 162's? If you want specific bolstered stats I can post them when I get home.

    Thanks

  5. Yes that is what I was asking, I was kind of hoping they'd give every weapon once and they'd be legacy bound

Well according to this it looks like the rewards will be for the character with the rating

    Hey Selenial,

All of the Arena rewards are character based and I do not believe they will be in collections.

  6. I am a bit confused about what it is you are asking. Are you asking about the Season 1 rewards? If so I do not think any specifics have been given. But I would imagine they would give you the weapon for your class (since the rewards are supposedly suppose to be tied to the character with the rating. )
  7. Suppose I will post mine. I Have not really played it much in the past month or so (since about 3 weeks before 2.6 until yesterday real life stuff and what not) so my set-up might be outdated for the meta, have no experience with bombers yet except in 3 matches. Anyway my set up currently (I am not maxed yet)

    FT-2 Quell

Quads (only have the first three boxes),( thinking about switching to lights though)

Missle1: Proton Torps (Speed and range)

Missle 2: Concussion(Rane and ignore armor)(debating on switching these to emp's because of bombers)

Shields: Directional (only first two boxes)

    Engines: Barrel Roll (speed)

    Armor: Reinforced armor

    Thruster: Speed Thruster

    Capacitor: Range Capacitor

    Munitions: Munitions Capacity Extender

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Crew:

Co-Pilot:Blizz, for hydro-spanner, I used to be primarily a node guarder and the heal is nice

Offensive: Skadge, His two passives both affect missles (capacity and load times) so its a nice match

Tactical: Scorpio (I like to know what is around me)

Defensive:Writch Hurley (I like my shields)

Engineering: Blizz (More engine power baby)

    -------------------------------------------------------

Now as you can see by my build I put all of my resources in my shields and engines (and of course missles). I basically joust, turning my shields to whichever side I need (front If I am going after them, rear if I am making some distance, or normal If I notice someone near me on my sides thanks to scorpio. I basically put all my effort into my missles, using my engine power and speed (always have power to engines usually) to create distance or close a big distance, lock on with protons then concussion then it is just fine picking for my lasers. Of course if they are smart and avoid my missles I use my speed and turn around to get some distance (depending on what they do) then try again. Of course that is under optimal conditions.

Now with that said, since I have only played 3 matches so far with bombers can any of my strike brothers tell me if the emp missles are worth picking up now? and any adjustments, I know things have changed so this set-up may be a bit outdated.

  8. My juggernaut. Probably a little more lightly colored then your average.

  9. I think it has to do with the fact that it is both an attack and a heal. When you have no target selected and use an attack ability it auto targets an enemy (I think nearest one?). Since hammershot is both an attack, and a heal with the proper cells, it is acting like an attack with no one selected. This was voiced on the PTS forums as well. Would be cool if it acted like a heal with no target selected instead of an attack but they would have to make a special case for that, and well, who knows if that will happen.
  10. And just look at 2.6 patchnotes. Monkeys will have their ravage cooldown reset. It means that you can mitigate some damage by Evasion but nothing will helps you when you will face the same monkey 10 sec later.. if you will be still alive..

Vengeance/Vigilance has always had the ravage/ms cooldown reset, it can just be controlled now. Smash monkeys will not have the reset, just to clarify.

  11. Yeh.... no.

They don't have the rights to Star Wars, and EA won't let them go and lose money on this game.

More likely, it'll be a similar styled game (Pre-NGU) but probably in a different Mythos.

Indeed, which I am fine with, if they use the same style then I will have that game for my crafting fix. Then still have this game for my Star Wars Fix. :)
