Please forgive me if these questions seem noobish. I am new to trying the Sniper class and would like some advice.

 

I very much like to theory craft and was wondering about the top end talent(s) in the MM tree. Is Rapid Fire too good to pass up? I can see where the crit damage from Imperial Assassin would be nice but what if you pulled some of those points and went a bit deeper into the Engineering tree?

 

I was thinking maybe this build 23/18/00

 

Your explosive probes would do more damage and drop cluster bombs. You would also pick up an additional snare/damage with Interrogation Probe and you would replace some single shot crit damage increase with some AE crit damage increase.

 

Again, I am new to the class and more curious about how good/bad Rapid Fire is to the MM tree.

I like this build but I have some questions...

 

You went 3/3 Steely Resolve, 2/2 Rebraced Armor and 2/2 Power Armor.

 

What if you went 2/3 Steely Resolve, 3/3 Integrated Cardio Package (3% Endurance) and 2/2 Gyroscopic Alignment Jets?

 

Would 3% Endurance make up for 16% armor and 2% damage reduction? You would also pick up an additional way to vent 8 heat. Not saying it's better just had thoughts on going a different way. Seems like venting heat is always a good thing.

 

Also, how does this hold up in PvP. You are more melee dependent so do you have issues with people getting away?

Type 2, Cyborg with one cybernetic eye. I made him a "brother". He looks and sounds great. I wouldn't change a thing about him. I play him as the calm, cool, collected type. Never makes a hasty decision. Makes him see even more bad ***** when he gives the responses I pick for him.
