Tanks who say they didn't use shock water to get their 5k medal are probably lying. Also cry me a river about shock water, as a healer our medals are limited at is; you can get 14 medals now? /comfort.
I'm a healer that used SFW and knew it was overpowered and was just a matter of time before it got fixed. Anyone who thought otherwise is delusional.

I guess I'm lucky but on Sword of Ajunta Pall (republic) we have very few leavers and I personally have a win rate of 78.00%.

... were caused by the first person to join a warzone leaving before it was over. This explains why I never saw the bug (I rarely have leavers on my side).
"Players will now properly receive mission credit for warzone wins when the first player to enter a Warzone leaves before the match ends."

Anyone else doing something similar? Take out Hutt Ball and I'm right at 75%. Level 33 Sage, valor rank 30.

The way I read it, there werent any new species. Just current species unlocked to different classes/factions.

Then check the "I want to queue against my own server" option and have it your way.
I don't have a comment on most of your post but I will say that real world trading was happening long before x-server queues were even thought of.

I just used it so I didn't have to sit around during downtime spamming heals to get my medals. Nothing much has changed for me. It was most useful in PvE so that I had no downtime.
