I smell a troll....this same post was made a short while ago, only with "female" in place of "Twi'lek".

So I haven't heard any updates on this topic in a while....Twi'leks and hoods. Currently, if you're wearing a chest piece with a hood graphic, the Twi'lek headband simply disappears and you're left with no hood or headband.
Anyone know if Twi'leks are slated to (eventually) get hoods, as they had in Beta? I hope so....my Assassin seems so much less cooler without a hood.

Rested experience actually generates fairly quickly. Something along the lines of 1 exp every 10 seconds or so I think. Though I'm not sure if there is currently a cap to it, and it seems to be a bit buggy....I had a guildy log out for 2 days and has gotten 2.5 levels of rested boost.

I actually took the time to read the whole thing though, and as others have said before me, it's a brand new game. They are already pushing a major content patch on the PTR, so change is quickly coming. Just give it time. If you feel you can't justify spending your money on a sub for this game at the current time because you can't enjoy the gameplay, then you're doing the right thing. No point paying for something you aren't happy with.
One suggestion I will make for everyone who reads my post here however, is on the topic of forming Flashpoint groups - take the initiative and start a server LFG channel. Lord Adraas currently has one going and it has helped me out immensely when it comes to forming up groups for flashpoints. I can continue to quest, but still advertise in the LFG channel to flesh out a group to run a flashpoint back in the fleet.
Check back in a couple months when the game's had time to evolve and see if you don't change your mind. You seem to really enjoy the idea of the game, so I hope you can find something to bring you back to play.

I use Arsenal and have no issues at all in PvP. Get "bad games" to the tune of 200k damage and maybe 25 kills. Just gotta know what abilities are good for each situation. You aren't going to want to draw a lot of attention while DPSing. Run with a couple melee folks if you can, and use your AoE attacks to your advantage (DfA, Sweeping Blasters, the AoE from your Explosive darts, Fusion Missle, etc.). If you pull agro on one person, hit him with the stun dart, explosive dart, missile blast, and start kiting them around, using any instant casts you get.

Android and Blackberries are both slated to support Authenticators, but I'm not sure if an ETA has been made available for either app yet.

I'm assuming you're talking about the maintenance that's going on right now? It's a pre-launch maintenance. It was announced a while ago....I'm not seeing the issue.

You were the one who bought a Android smarthphone. If you want smarthphone functionality with SWTOR you should sell that phone and buy an iPhone. I don't want the devs wasting time coding an app for a system that will not be used nearly as much as iOS will, and they should focus on fixing the issues in the game and with their already coded app.
Games are built for Windows, no one develops for OS X, just buy Windows and BootCamp... Oh wait wrong thread...

If you want an Android app, you need to support a native OS X client for SWTOR!
Androids outnumber iPhone users by quite a large amount. What is so wrong with creating an app for all the smartphones? I don't know about anyone else, but I know I can't afford to shell out the insane amount of cash for an iPod that makes phone calls. I'll just stick with my Android.

Apple only makes the App available after the developer submits it. So EA/Bioware submitted it before their system was ready to let people use them.
I stand corrected. I was under the impression it wasn't an intended release, considering it caught Rockjaw off guard when people tweeted him about it.

Dear Bioware please have a separate data centre for EU because having a maintenance downtime to benefit the yankies at 2AM CST when they asleep while WE THE EU have to wait 2 hours at 8AM til 10AM is ridiculous
its unfair and biased.
It's not unfair, nor biased. Rofl. 8 to 10 AM is nowhere near peak time for EU, so it's sensible to place maint. here.

Do you have the Naga desktop control module on your PC? If so, please check your DPI. Mine is at 1800 and had no issues...

I'm playing with a Naga as well, and have actually found the camera speeds to be a bit slower than I like. Have you checked in-game for any camera options you can change?

No character transfers are available as of yet. It is a common tool eventually added to MMOs, but rarely from the very start.

Amazon put out a bulletin that they have been authorized to begin shipments as early as the 15th. Arrivals are estimated to be as early as the 19th for same-day and one-day deliverys.

IIRC, Server limitations are set lower during these initial phases than they will actually be once we hit launch, so even though it's showing full, it may not be near actual capacity.

You should only be billed for the game (or remaining balance, if ordering from Origin) on the release or shipping date.
