  1. Wow, no Negative Nancy's? While appreciate the update, I have to say, I originally reported on this an HOUR ago. Many threads formed since, server statuses don't seem to be right. It took this long to take note of the server populations dropping like flies? OF COURSE we wouldn't blame Eric, it's not his job to handle the server management, but I mean, come on. I'm sorry but my temper is a bit flared right now, and I don't want to play the blame game, but dev silence in general is one thing, but taking this long to give any kind of update at all? Is it the norm to just sit on something for an hour hoping it will go away, then finally saying something after everyone has been constantly trying to login, getting booted, crashed to desktop, etc. for over an hour? What, seriously, is with the knee-jerk reaction to give love to Eric for simply doing his job yet there is no acknowledgement at all that while EAware didn't cause the crash they aren't completely without culpability. Everyone knows it's derptroll and a DDoS attack, which is a far cry from someone might have tripped over the power cord, we're not sure but we'll take a look. Not only that, how is a boiler plate response of "we know something's up, we're looking into it" helpful in any way?? You're right: thanks Eric for telling us you're not NOT doing something!

Again, sorry, but my blood is really boiling right now. When I was working IT I caught **** too if crashes, etc. happened. Sure I wasn't responsible for *making* them happen, but I was sure as **** responsible for not preventing them. Boss didn't care if it was "unpreventable"; and as far as I know the ancient attack of 90's lore of a DDoS is hardly unpreventable. And between the couple days before New Years' Eve and now they couldn't have done ANYTHING to protect themselves from this???

For the information and investigation to move from internal to the public takes awhile. Also, the servers themselves are /not/ down, that is why the status pages still say they're up, because they ARE. The DDOS attack is stopping you from connecting in general, although the servers are still online. Also, a DDOS attack of such a scale is almost impossible to circumvent. . Before you post, think about it. There's a /reason/ that BioWare is looking into it and not giving more information. There's nothing they can really do to stop it. Just wait for the attackers to pass to another game.

  2. Will vote for some form of "Zombie" (See: Kaon Under Siege) to also be part of this, coming up from the infected graves after you hide from them. Ex: The main boss does some large AoE thing like Titan 6, you hide behind Tombstones, and at the end of the cast, it does a large flash and some "Zombies" raise up from random Tombstones.
  3. So, we have these Isotope-5 Droids, and even have these cute little pet ones, right? Why not a mount-version? Either a slightly-larger version of the pet, and you sit on top, or even a larger one, similar to the tank, where you ride inside of it. It would be an excellent new mount, and I know a lot of people would love to see this.
  4. So many of the emotes we have on the emote button sound great for RP situations, and so you click it, expecting, for example, to cross your arms and stand their 'impatiently' (The "Cross Arms" emote), yet nothing happens. A little text thing appears in the chat box, and nothing else.. Why the hell does this exist then in the first place, when I can simply just type out "/me crosses arms and stands impatiently." Also, most of these emotes are restricted so that only subscribers can use them. Alright, so I subscribed, and I get what? Emotes that are half-done and are there to make the emotes bar seem more "alive" and usable? Why not finish the job there and actually make animations for these? Another example, "/sleep". Why in the world was the animation for "/sleep" never created?

For the suggestion: Add animations to all these emotes that currently, and completely, useless. If I wanted to "sleep" without an animation, I'd type "/me falls into a deep slumber", not use the "/sleep" emote, and be extremely disappointed afterwords.

  5. The lack of ability to wear a hood properly as a Twi'lek is quite annoying. I like the hooded robes and chest pieces just as much as the other people, but as a Twi'lek, I can't enjoy them on myself. There are many ways a Twi'lek can deal with wearing a hood, but the easiest would be just hanging the Lekku over their shoulders in front of them. Here's some images for example:

  6. Isn't the BH pretty much a trooper? Pistols instead of rifles but otherwise they're the mirror aren't they?

Which is why classes should be able to use more weapons, even maybe if it's an End-game perk. A BH with a Rifle would be amazing.

  7. Has happened to me several times. CTRL + U(x2) works to fix it, but it's still an annoyance. This happens to me randomly, and no, I haven't renamed a character. Possible two bugs here, one linked to Character Renames, and the other not.
  8. It's come to my attention that some armor's don't have a Dye-slot, which ruins the ability to customize your armor if you are wearing those. In example, my Sith Warrior is wearing the Restored Triumvirate Body Armor / Belt / Legs, and the Eradicator's Gauntlets with Warlord's Boots. The set is nice, but the inability to dye the set as a whole is quite annoying. This seems to only affect a select few armor sets, but it's enough to have an impact, and it would be quite great if we were able to dye them, seeing as we can already inspect dyes and preview them on the non-dyeable armors as if they were dyeable.
