I've been trying out Iresso as I prefer ranged tanks generally but I have to admit I am struggling.
Qyzen was pretty simple to manage and I could do my own thing. Iresso is a lot more work and I'm sorry, but I just do not see why in a million years, my Sage would ever fall for Iresso. That story line makes no sense to me.

Things need to be fixed. I don't object to the number of patches, it's the time it takes them to make even the smallest patch take that grates on my nerves.
Four hours is just way too long and don't get me started on the EU downtimes.

I'm personally crap at jumping around in MMO's (I find the sideways movement when abutted against something and jumping particularly annoying), but have got all of them up to and including Tatooine as I was on each planet.
I stopped looking since then but will go back once I hit 50.
Even though I struggled with some, I have really enjoyed that they are sometimes difficult and challenging to reach.
just keep trying, you will get them.

Because of how the client is, not only would the US have the patch before EU, but the EU would also be blocked from their servers till their servers get patched, cause the EU players have the same client as the US. So yeah, they could stagger the downtime, but that wouldn't do any good because the EU would automatically be shut out of their servers till their servers get patched anyways.
Nah, it's easily overcome with versioning.

Can someone please tell me how to turn F1 toggling off? For some reason it is toggling between me and my companion rather than just selecting me always.
According to the key binding description it should just select me which is what i want it to do(what every other mmo I have ever played does with F1 and what I expect it to do).
I have Shift-F1 if i want to select my companion.
And yes I died yet again healing my companion at a critical phase when i thought I was about to heal myself.
Small thing but irritating as hell (for me).

I don't mind the whole ship travel to planet element but I get what you're saying about the time it takes to get from the planet to the ship.
Orbital stations are used a cheap fix so they don't have to do another ship leaving from/to planet surface animation.

as an austrlian this has a huge impact on me. Servers go down right when I get home from work and last until I go to bed.
unless you live in the good ol' US of A, forget it, you're boned.

The game, mostly yes.
The terrible EU maintenance schedule coupled with a lot of downtime, rushed patches requiring more patches : no.

Not sure what the issue is with this place, did it easily as Heal Sage with Qyzen (in about 5levels sub-par gear).
For each pull:
Make sure you have the buff from the clickable station before each pull.
Force Shield Companion, then Self - (important so you can reapply bubble to companion first)
after 5s set companion to attack weakest mob and force lift the Elite Mob/Caster if there is no elite.
Keep the Force Shield up at all times, and interrupt the lightning with your interrupt/stun/even knockback! if necessary.
Rinse, Repeat. Just the same as any pack with elites/strong mobs.
Pretty much what I did. I think I was 38 at the time. So far never used another companion other than Qyzen. I pulled them away from the CC'd elite so qyzen was free to do his aoe thang. I also like to use my aoe push back as an extra interrupt so distance from the cc'd mob is important.

Clearly new to the MMO world, all the MMO's I have played from day one have had downtime on a weekend to fix important issues.
I really can believe people are crying over this so much.

Was it really that critical that they do it now and not wait till Tuesday? I mean they have a big fat 8 hours maintenance window to do it
Can't they split the maintenance window to effect different time zones more appropriately?
If you're happy, then great but others aren't and BW need to take note.

I'm guessing the entitlement comes with being the customer and paying for a service not provided.
I'm personally angry about the disregard shown to the EU customer base in general with the poor maintenance scheduling but doing my best to remain mature about it!

Split the maintenance window up. It's not hard and there have been no compelling arguments for doing it the way they have been.
