I run an Intel i5-3570k overclocked to 4.2Ghz

Asus P8Z77 Motherboard

16 Gb DDR3 Corsair RAM

EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti

120Gb SSD main drive

 

I feel this is a bit of overkill, but I've been running SWTOR since November with this rig and I freaking LOVE it. Runs 40+FPS in warzones, 60+FPS on fleet, and 90+FPS most everywhere else. I have some of the best air cooling on the CPU available and it barely breaks 40 degrees Celsius when playing with ALL graphics (yes shadows too )maxed running at 1920x1080 screen resolution. I can also run the game in fullscreen windowed mode if I desire with no noticable drop in performance. I have dual monitors hooked up to the 660 Ti and I generally have my Teamspeak, CPU temp monitor, and other various windows open on my second monitor while playing. It was built for me by Digital Storm and I would highly recommend them! It was about $1200 without monitors.

I didn't think Battlemaster is going to be called War Hero; I hate to tell you.

 

Correct. Battlemaster simply won't be available for purchase. Current toons with Battlemaster will still be wearing BM after 1.6. War Hero will then need to be bought using WZ comms. Elite War Hero will now cost Ranked Comms. This is the way I understand.

[Juggernaut PVP Shield or Focus?]

I always use a shield. I know the damage mitigation is minor but that extra few seconds of life can make all the difference between making the goal line or getting that kill. The loss of damage is relatively minor,

 

I prefer to go the other way and I am now using a Focus with full rage spec. I was using immortal/vengeance hybrid with shield and I now find they my survivability in PVP is actually better because I am able actually kill others around me. I couldn't even really be a solid nuisance to opposing players with the hybrid build. It sucks IMO. YMMV of course

I just want to put it out there that I have a level 50 on "The Constant". Leveling through the higher level plants such as Hoth and Corellia, there would be LESS THAN 10 toons (rep side) on the planet during peak hours. SWTOR is a pure single player game at this point for the poor bastards on that server. I've re-rolled imp side on Canderous Ordo and so far so good.
