  1. I honestly have no idea what the hell happened.

I logged onto my Warrior and all my bars were gone - and it said I had to pay to add a title; as if I was a F2P player. I log off - and go onto my Bounty Hunter - and everything is fine.

I log back onto my Warrior and see all my bars are back - but my customized set-up is gone.

Anyone know what the heck happened?

Also - my rested EXP was gone.

ALSO - they took back my speeder piloting license - so I had to buy it again.

It happened to one of my characters, too. The character also lost guild leadership. I submitted a ticket, but that probably won't get a response for a couple of weeks, given my recent experience.

  2. I think you would find more people on the PTS if they had character levelers in place, or some kind of level 50 character creation. They are not transferring any characters, and the ones that were transferred are from pre-1.3, so are not going to be able to perform optimal testing for things like TFB.

It seems short-sighted of them not to allow proper testing of their content before it goes live. Most, if not all, MMOs have a way - other than leveling a fresh character - to test high-level content.

  3. The tooltip on the Group Finder states that you will get 5 BH comms for completing 1 HM flashpoint, a day. This seems like too steep an increase in reward. It's good to see them more available, however I think it should be 1 or 2 for the daily. Maybe 5 for a weekly? Please tell me if I'm being ridiculous.

Disclaimer: I am in no way trying to be elitist, I have one piece of Black Hole gear and if anything this benefits me.

  4. Ah, so it's my fault for not having the ambition, desire or time to follow him to his personal twitter account, one not even linked in his sig mind you? I do keep current, but I'm not a big believer in social media. I LOVE digital communication and the speed with which information flows these days...but I have no desire to pretend I care what the **edit** Stephen ate for dinner or how many people he pwnd in battleship.

Dev tracker shows someone who was seldom here mate...spin it all you like, but I read the forums quite often and his name was new to me last week.

    edit...

Mind you, I have absolutely no problem with information about this game being spread around via other outlets, but WE, the paying customers, deserve links and updates as well. We weren't getting them. We got twitter updates from his few followers here, and if you missed it, they didn't show up in Dev Tracker. WE are their best sales tool. WE know the people who have left our guilds. WE post places other than here. WE NEEDED to know.

To be honest, none us knew what his instructions were as SCM. For all we know, he could have been told to use all forms of social media/networking, as well as keep the forum as up-to-date, as possible. Again, just because you are not someone who follows these outlets, there are a lot of people do. He was very active on these forums until recently, and perhaps, since he was a senior staff member, he was told about these redundancies in advance, hence the quietening.

Personally, I have met Stephen Reid a few times, and he was very passionate about this game. It is a shame to see him go. It is astounding the tremendous amount of personal hatred towards these staff members (this isn't aimed at the quoted post, but just at the community as a whole). They are humans, with real lives, outside of this game's development. If you want to direct dislike or distaste towards the project, look to the management in charge, instead of blaming the people simply following orders. Attacking them on personal accounts is out of order.

  5. Something that I feel would be easy to implement, and might help with grouping is:

When a mission is picked up, you are automatically told who is on the same mission in the zone (or planet). Similarly, people who have the mission could be given a notification when someone picks up the mission. Of course, there would be an option to opt-out in the settings.

It would be a way of more actively knowing who is doing what mission, rather than people, almost helplessly, saying "LFG XYZ." It is like a temporary friends list being created, and could be listed on the mission info tab (L), or in the social screen.

  6. Okay, I played pvp with the sickness and I really don't know what you are complaining about.

1, if you do happen to explode in pvp you get 5 Rakghoul vaccines from it. 5! That's 10k in goods right there.

    2. the 'debuff' isn't really a debuff, it does nothing to your stats.

    3. In the pve pvp WZs, getting sick really doesn't cause an issue. I mean, things happen so fast that even if it 'gets you killed' you bounce right back

    4. You don't infect people in pvp.

    5. Honestly, I never noticed getting ill in pvp, does it even work in the pvp worlds?

    5. Do you realize this event carries with it an amazing black-green pvp crystal?

People just enjoy complaining. Keep making events, BioWare.
