I don't think node sitting for rewards would work out very well for the campers. If you did it as a team you would lose every match and lose more than you would gain from the rewards, and if the odd person did it, it would be pretty easy to make a strict activity counter only for the rewards portion of the match. And I would think AFKing would be a much deeper problem for the lockout model.
Ultimately there is no way to completely eliminate the plethora of ******* that play to the detriment of others, but it is possible to make it up to the players that contribute to a healthy PvP community.
thats whats happening now, thats why theres loads of quitters we cba with the campers afk'ing comms

if you have 100k attack you need 25% of that in defence
if you have 90k def you need 45% of that in attack
if not you dont get comms xp or credits
the numbers i have used are off a bit but you know what i mean

You want to save development time and graphics for your space content pvp update? Buy Black Prophecy! NOW. The game is going offline in a couple weeks since gamigo told reakktor they are no longer supporting the game. The game is being closed down and will no longer be in development. It is a very VERY fun pvp dogfighting space game that is space only. Use that as your base space content for it will be AMAZING used in this game.
I think you should really take a hold of this opportunity to get a good game that was shelved by a bad publisher (gamigo) because of their bad decisions. Black Prophecy is a GREAT game. Unfortunately, gamigo sucks. I'm telling you if you want a great space simulator and you won't have to work on years of coding for your own from scratch, buy Black Prophecy from Gamigo.
I'm telling you this because I think it would be a GREAT addition to this game. Put your own spin on it. I'm serious now. This is a GREAT idea.

In games I played many years ago (including tabletop RPGs), the equivalent "grey" items were really low-level items. You used these items when you really needed to, but tried to upgrade ASAP.
Then, it became stuff that you really wouldn't use unless you were having serious problems.
Now, in SWTOR (and many other games, I'm sure), you can't even use these items at all, even if you wanted to. They're just trash. Why does anyone bother making them as loot any more? Why not just give us more credits? Green stuff and above, sure, you might use it, even though 90% is vendored. But at least it's theoretically useful. Grey junk just fills up your bags for no reason.

Exactly what it sounds like, a pet who is a low intelliegence species, such as Evoci, Gungan or Ewok, forced to follow you around in a slave collar being zapped if strays too far.
Could be earned in a event or mission where it is either enslaved (DS) or freed (LS) (earning an alternate pet or companion pet just like the slave only no zapping)
i like this idea, but you have to add wookiees to that list wookiee slaves for everyone finf your nearest trando slaver now for 10% off while stocks last

Yes. The Republic has its skeletons. But what has the Republic done that is as bad or worse than Genocide.
i really do love this debate when i was in school we talked about good and evil
we grow up learning that democracy, freedom and human rights are good and oppression hatred prejudice is wrong so when where asked a question who are the good guys we automatically chose the republic because that's how we where raised
now look at it from someone who grew up as a imperial citizen, they are going to say that the republic is evil and the empire is good because that's how they where raised
right and wrong, good and evil are all just a point of view passed down from one generation to the next with each new generations views change what once was wrong is now accepted and what once was ok is now wrong
50 years ago it was ok to be prejudiced against people for colour sexuality faith and creed now its illegal to discriminate someone for these reasons
things can go the other way too it only takes fear to change the opinion of the masses and all the above can become accepted once again its happened before and will most likely happen again its human nature
P.S if i have come off as a crazy anti democracy freedom person i did not mean to im all for freedom

ok i just quit a WZ about 5secs ago
they have 2 nodes in alderan civil war
there is 3 people on the one node we do have which never got attacked from the start theres a marualder standing by where we drop down and players are jumping down and attacking him he has 2 healers that i marked healing him not one of the 4 players who jumped down went for a healer once he must of racked up 20 kills just of those 4 players , so i did a screw you guys am going home and left
now was that wrong of me?

Since the topic was PTS and not the game overall, the relevant question would be... if you really feel like that, why do you play on PTS?
The answer is, of course, that I don't.
