  1. 2nd Boss

~ Can have ranged DPS'ing and kiting at the same time, Can DPS Tanks from inside the shield if quick enough.

Thats a huge stretch. The tanks are practically immune when shields are active - if anything, melee with a sprint/charge are better than ranged running back to the tanks.

If you have a DPSer kiting, thats just lol. You use a healer for the simple reason that Firebrands tank, takes **** all damage.

Instead of whinging about ranged having it easier than melee, why dont you take a step back, think exactly how all these new fights could be unique and somehow NOT favour ranged. If you roll a melee, you know what you're in for, it aint a suprise (logical thinking people).

  2. i prefer the crit / surge relic to use in tandem with a triage adrenal (adding power / crit / surge all once will give you more than simply adding power and more power)

If you have decent gear, as in 30-35% crit, 70-75% surge (fully buffed), this statement couldnt be more wrong. Using the crit/surge relics are nigh on pointless, due to the nature of their DR...I used to have a surge adrenal, so bad! Power, and power again. Or stagger your relic and adrenal use.

  3. Yet to do this on 16 man, but for 8 man, we run a shadow on Firebrand, and a Vanguard on Stormcaller. The shadow uses his stealth to drop threat on the incinerate (so a DPS will get incinerate), or he uses a CD to take it (resiliance I think). If his stealth is on CD, or his CDs arnt up, we tank swap. We have the healer on firebrand stand off the tank, everyone else stands on the tanks.

    That's pretty much it.

  4. No, it's exactly the same boost for both healing and damage. Actually the percentage difference is slightly bigger for healing:

Healing bonus is 0.14 for aim, 0.17 for power, 0.03 bonus per point, and a 21% difference.

Damage bonus is 0.20 for aim, 0.23 for power, 0.03 bonus per point, and a 15% difference.

Aim bonus = 0.2 per point of Aim.

Power bonus = 0.23 per point of Power.

Lets look at the Power you recieve from 100 Aim.

With talents, 100 Aim is equal to 109 Aim.

    Therefore 100 (109) Aim is: 109 x 0.2 = 21.8 Damage

Now lets look at the power you recieve from 100 Power.

    100 x 0.23 = 23.

23 > 21.8, therefore power gives you more damage per point than aim.

If you want to argue that aim also provides crit, I'd like to see the mathematical proof, that proves the pseudo damage is enough to close the gap between Aim and Power (please not DR for aim/crit).

  5. Civil War is the worst because if one team slips and the other team gets their second point (assuming equal skills) you can never get that point back unless you severely **** up.

Alderaan should have the same mechanics as NC IMO. NC is good because it's a lot more grey that Alderaan (less defined). More room for error etc. You react in the now, and it's constanly dynamic.
