  1. So you think it's okay for the class to be nearly invincible 1v1?

Since a healer cannot do any proper damage, I think it should be very hard to kill 1 on your own yeah. And healingmercs are nowhere close to invincible. If you believe they are, you should go and play one and be suprised. It takes alot of skill since the 70% pvpdebuff, to stay alive when the other guy is interupting, cc'ing and using his pushback.

  2. This is towards level 50 sorcerers so if you dont have one dont whine since you dont know anything aout them....

At level 50 the sorcerer damage is weak and it cannot kill anyone fast enough

our defense is 0, we are the squishiest class ingame and a huge cooldown shield that only takes 2k damage is USELESS compared tot the damage 50s do

Our cc are useless when we ont have enough damage to kill someone or enough power to even survive an attack...

I havent read anything else in the thread, I just saw this and needed to reply...

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Wow man... that is idd a good joke. Keep me up to date on your other ones.

  3. that's still 1,5 seconds in which the other guy can do nothing mate. Follow up your stun, with the 4 sec one. Any cc even 1 or 2 second ones, still immobalize your target. Meaning I as a healer start 1,5 seconds later with my cast or popping a pot.
  4. You can always spot a lowbie. Healing is very powerful in this game with the way expertise works plus guard. A guarded commando would be unkillable without the 30 percent debuff, pretty tough to take down as it is.

guard is an ability which is intended to make it very hard to kill the guarded player. Espacially a healer. The tank casting it, doesnt do a whole lot of damage. So low damage and healing ability... Doesnt sound OP to me.

  5. In my opinion the 30% debuff is too much. Indeed its very hard now to survive a dps that knows what he's doing. IMO I should be able to keep myself alive, barely, while waiting for help to arrive. As it stands, its near to impossible to do that, when you're up against a dps that knows what he's doing. (Yes, I use cc's, LoS, medpacks and pvphealpots).

When we didnt have the debuff healing was OP. So we can't have that, but I think 20% should be around the debuff that enables good healers to stay alive, again barely. While not making healing OP because you can just keep yourself and 3 people alive while being pounded on.

I hope BW sees it like this and will implement this in the near future. If not, I will still be healing. 200k healing is still more then possible in every single WZ while getting some damage off as well. And for those complaining about not enough heals: just look at the amount of heals you do in comparison to the damage others do. In my case Im usually above them.

  6. I wouldnt mind normalized stats in pvp. Then idd skill becomes alot more important then the gear you get. The only problem is, why do you go and pvp your *** off then. People like to improve their character. Thats why the MMO genre is so addictive. There is almost always something better to be gotten. There should be some good incentives to keep the grind going.
  7. All the negativity titles just get me down. I think BW is doing a pretty good job. 1.1 fixed some pvp-issues. Also the tried to balance some stuff out. Sure I dont like the healing nerf in combat, but Im a healer, so that makes a bit biased. IMO the good stuff need to be vocalised as well, which is now being trumped by mainly qq posts.

    • I love the fact that Im able to level a character doing only classquests and pvp-warzones from level 10 and hitting 50 in 5 days played time.
    • I love the warzones, which after countless hours of play still dont make me get bored of them.
    • I love that as a healer I still need to think about cc'ing and helping to drop a person when he's almost down.
    • I love the balancing they are trying to do, with regular updates. Even if sometimes some people think they are crap. At least they are trying actively.
    • I love that I can do quests as a healer and actually finnish quests in time, having way less of a disadvantage over dps like in some other MMO's.
    • etc.

My opinion is that SWTOR is a great game which indeed needs improving, but ALL mmo's always need improving. I hope that most people think of it like that and that all the qq'ing is just the small minority.

  8. As a healer Im scared ******** of operatives. Its the only class that can drop me before I can get any cc or heal of. I think that needs looking after. The cc is not the problem. The amount of damage in a short period is. IMO if I use my CD's and cc right I should be able to keep a fight going for quite a while. In case of operatives, if a guy is a good player I can gg pretty much immidiatly.

    Just my 2 cents.

edit note: Alot of operatives dont know how to play, but those that do can just own healers no questions asked.

  9. STAR WARS: The Old Republic > English > PvP

Just sayin'. I thought he was very polite about it.

I also hate how people will do that..but because BW nerfed the rewards for losing I guess it's not so bad except that I'm trying to win.

So because english isnt my native language, I should sod off? I cant help it if I make a mistake in english.

  10. Im starting to see people in warzones that are just idle. Moving every once in a while to not get kicked I think, but contributing nothing to the warzone. I would like to see a Report Idle Player button. Not to kick them out of the warzone immidiatly, but to register. I know otherwise people will start grieving. When a player gets those votes alot in several warzones, then action should be taken.
  11. In the past few days we've seen alot of raging, trolling and other -ing stuff going on. Yes BW, could have given us more information on at what place you are in the queue. But with the decisions they made, they clearly want to make this EGA as smooth and nice as they possibly can. We got 2 days extra, there has been a clear attempt to make people not have to sit behind there computer all day by giving out waves every hour for 4 max and now they are even letting in more people today then originally planned. Thnx BioWare and keep it up. I rather get into a game I can play then have queue's for hours and server crashes.

PS: Stephen Reid, thnx for all the updates and your patience in answering all the stuff people asked/flamed on.

  12. Not to be a bummer, but I think there are more november pre-orders then october's. Just look at the amount of views and replies. Also in november there were the stressweekends which made people decide to take the pre-order and getting closer to launch also more people will buy a game.

Im 24th of november. (not even my fault. I coudlnt redeem my code for 2 weeks) And I hope my *** off I get in today. But I think its going to be tight.

Still: Oh yeah, we're almost in :D

  13. i didn't read all this but looking at the NA servers all being at light to standard at this time and EU being about standard with a lot of light and a couple heavy i ask why are they letting people in so slowly?

tomorrow or today end of day there is still going to be bit rushes to get in after work hours and there is going to be nasty back logs possible after a maintenance so i don't really understand the concept.

as for spreading out the players across many servers i have never seen that work as everyone either will cluster to one and a bunch will go to a new server to get max and get bored then go back to the over populated since no one is on the other.]

in theory this is a good idea but theories never survive when the rubber hits the road.

Well it's just after dinner in Europe, so medium or light doesnt say a whole lot imo. Also they stated they were looking to see how the invites would influence the servers on the short and long span.

I want to get in as well, but I prefer to get into a stable server, instead of being locked out after I allready got in.
