  1. still no answer on this?

seriously how hard is it to get a straight answer. i have people in guilds trying to crit craft campaign level relics with no success so it would be great to get a proper answer so were not wasting super expensive matts.

YES. It really IS that hard. :rak_03:

  2. Load times in:

    WoW - 20'ish seconds

    Rift - 30'ish

    Tera online - 15'ish

SWTOR - 1min or more anywhere outside fleet. 30'ish to fleet.

    I7 cpu

72000 rpm caviar black hard drive.

Woah that was fast, usually they are only 7200 rpm but yours are 10 times as fast.

Btw, get an SSD if your loading times are bad, i load fleet within 10 seconds, tatooine within 20. Yep, SSD is the ****.

  3. In the new (1.2) medal system, a team can win the "dauntless" medals for finishing a match quickly. This is a nice bonus for dominating the other team, but there is a whole in it. Currently, either team in huttball, civil war, and novare coast are cabale of winning these medals. But if you are the initial attacking team in voidstar, you can't get these medals no matter what.

I realized this yesterday when my team dominated made it all the way to the datacore and then we had to defend, and we kept them to the second set of doors. After looking at the final scoreboard, I realized that if we had defended first, we would have gotten an extra 3-4 medals because the match would have ended earlier.

I suggest a point system for voidstar matches. Each objective is worth 1 point, making 6 points total (first door, bridge, second door, forcefield, final door, and datacore.) If the initial attacking team keeps the opposing team at the second set of doors, then at the end of the match there is a 3 point difference, and the winning team should receive a medal for each point.

Good idea? Bad idea? Anyone else noticed this?

They are only there for people not to "farm medals" before scoring 6th goal in huttball, etcetc. But yeah i agree at some point with ya.

  4. My response "*** is the rest of your team doing letting them focus you?" Whenever I run with my buddy who has a merc healer, I always keep an eye out on him. If i see him being focused...I charge in, aoe fear, and SLOW the dps around him.....at which point he usually knocks them back, goes behind a pillar or LoS somewhere....heals up, and is back healing me while i'm killing the idiots slowly chasing him trying to finish him off. ALl this while I'm running around usually with no stuns or slows on my toon at all....Do they turn and stun/slow me so I can't help my healer? Against most groups, No. Does blowing my rage slowing enemies = a dps loss for me? Of course, but this is where strategy and skill come in play. And this is coming from a team of only TWO players. on an 8 v 8, I would expect your team to be a little more aware and focused.

The average SW:ToR PvP'er has less brain than a piece of plastic. So as long as he solo queue's he WILL get focused in only a few seconds and he WILL be dead and he WON'T be able to throw a single heal on ANYONE, if its not an instant cast. Meh, hence why sorc's suck at PvP healing now.

  5. You cannot do anything like that.

So you want operatives to get their healing counted on themselves, but not sorc? And 95% af sorc's dont abuse this, but they use it in a good way. When i heal on my sorc which i rarely do after the 1.2 hammer on us, i use it to keep up my force in longer fights. now we CANNOT DO IT without taking damage and we kind of have to heal us selves to keep up our force. its the only way for a healing sorc to keep up force while healing. Unlike dps sorcs can spam lightning and still never run out of force.

Just a bad idea overall you got there, sorry.

  6. As a sorc healer, i must say sorc healers needs a buff.

Sorc healers are very imobile and as it is now, we die in a few seconds, even with bubble self heal and medpac, to a marauder/operative(and the republic equivalent ones) and with the lack of mobility we cannot get away in any way. I find myself to be VERY usefull in groups but in the same second a DPS finds me and goes on me im as useless as a rock. Honestly, i dont believe HEALING needs a buff as long as healers are mobile. But sorcs really, channeled/cast time on every single heal(~2.3 seconds for dark infusion our main source of healing and a channeled 2.7 seconds for intervene which is our second best source of healing but it also allows us to keep up our force) I have not played a merc but i believe they have a few usefull instant heals, and i know that operatives have only one usefull heal with cast time. So really, buff healing or make sorcs more mobile.

1.2 was good, just a bit too harsh for sorc healers.

  7. I would love to see a fraps of you fighting in one of your 50 to 100 player aoe fest showing the fps indicator. I read so many talk about how they do not get real poor fps in large fights in Ilum, but not one yet has shown any objective evidence to support their claim.

I do not own fraps so i can only do 30 sec footage and my vids are turned upside down. I shall tommorow provide a screenshot of the ingame FPS-meter showing it.

  8. Come on, i do not even have an high end rig and i do not experience under 20 fps on ilum even while standing in 50 reps and 100 imps AoE'ing the **** outa each other..

Probably stop your **** downloads if you experience so bad lags and you aren't supposed to. I admit Swtor has performance issues but it isn't as bad as people make it sounds..

  9. Why so many people in online games prefer to faceroll their face off than achieve something with a little bit of skill? Almost every WZ i enter there are like 6-8 inquisitors in one team. I cant even see map cuz everything is purple, so many stupid lightnings. I never get that, why ppl roll classes that are easy and for newbs, just like ret palas in wotlk, just like frost mages now. Please BW nerf sorcerers. Sick damage, like 3 imbollizes, stun, bubble, bubble-blind, healz, sprint, constant channeled slow, knockbacks. I mean it, what the...? I just was in WZ where total number of players were 16, and there were 13 inquisitors... PvP in SWTOR isn't cool anyway, but sorcerers make it even worse. Please do something about it because this is riddicolous. See ya peeps and may the force be with You.

    I do not agreed.

Myself i chose inquisitor -> Sorc in early beta and i havent regret my choice.

But relly in WZ i do see MAXIMUM 4 inq on a team, most likely 2:1 or 3:1 sorc/assasin ratio.

Often i've been seing more BH than inq. hence the tracer spam

  10. Well, to be honest, I really expect the reverse type of situation. That BW will remove the biochem requirement from the purple versions, making the perk for Biochem slightly better Rakata versions.

But who knows how long it will be before they bow to the inevitable. And, until then, they'll waste time on silly changes, much like they are doing with the ability to rip armor mods and set bonuses from raid drops, rather than making simpler and overall better changes.

I agree with every single statement of yours. :)

  11. They don't require artifice, so, yup, you can use them.

Just do be aware that if you drop Artifice and decide to pick it up again later, say because BW decides to slap a skill requirement on your relics, you'll have to relearn all those recipes.

Point taken. But i guess stims and stuff > relics. I can just buy some realics almost as good. :)

  12. Hello

I have for quite some time had artifice at level 400. I was wondering if i could change it to, say biochem and get the endgame stims etcetc but still keep my relics from artifice? Is that possible?
