Games are suppose to be fun but they aren't designed that way, they are designed like jobs. That's why grinding exists, you spend time doing something you don't enjoy because the reward is worth it. That is what games like MMOs and 'games as a service' have become.

Then that is a problem with the player, and not the game. If the activity isn't enjoyable, then by no means should any reward be worth it. If I don't like an activity, no reward is going to make me want to do it. Games are meant to be FUN, and if I'm not having fun, then I go do something I will have fun doing.

Playing a game just because of some reward just brings out Frustration, and anger. In reality at this point your just punishing yourself. You may as well do something you enjoy instead.

Here's the data I collected while farming each week this season:

    • Brazz's Gift: 1,283 blueprint fragments / 15,973 kills = 8.03% drop rate - I used 8 buffs on two servers, so roughly 640 per server.
    • Without Buff: 148 blueprint fragments / 14,777 kills = 1.00% drop rate

The first few weeks, maybe more, I was only getting 0.75% drop rate without the buffs. I think they increased it in one of the patches. Maybe the fix to Fitted gear drops indirectly increased the blueprint fragment drop rate, but I'm not sure. Regardless, at some point it changed from 0.75% to 1.00%. I didn't include that data above, but if I did it would still be 0.93% drop rate, pretty close to 1%.

With these drop rates in mind, you can get:

    • Brazz's Gift: 80 blueprint fragments per 1,000 kills
    • Without Buff: 10 blueprint fragments per 1,000 kills

I put 1,000 kills because it's doable by pretty much any character on low level planets as long as you have an AoE ability. Higher level characters can get more kills, especially in CZ-198 as mentioned above. I didn't farm in CZ-198 in case they nerfed it before I could use all my Brazz's Gifts. I wanted consistent data and a nerf in the middle would have made it hard to tell what the drop rate really is. You could think of 1,000 kills as the low bar or worst case.

You can count on getting 640 blueprint fragments if you use all the free Brazz's Gifts from the season levels. Along with the 130 blueprint fragments from season levels, this means you only need 730 blueprint fragments to reach the 1500 for the achievement. That requires an average of 36.5 blueprint fragments each week from weeklies and dailies, which is possible with a minimum of 6 weeklies each week plus the 7 dailies. You might be okay with less than 6 weeklies if you get lucky with random drops during the week. Otherwise, you have to do additional farming (on top of the 8 hours of Brazz's Gift).

I tried CZ today, and I wasn't getting anywhere near enough to even bother with it. I wasn't even on a pace for 60 in an hour. I have better luck on low level planets then I did there.

    CZ isn't worth the time.

Going to be 100% truthful here. If your Guild leader lost the guild, they didn't login for 28 days. BW/BS has NEVER returned guild leadership if it is lost. I've seen many guild leaders lose a guild because they were inactive for far to long.

Guild Leaders need to be active, or there is no reason they should be leading a guild. At that point they should willingly pass it on to a trusted officer.

Um, @Stradlin, What the heck? Seriously, this is a nutso response. We know they are trying to "nudge" us to play PVP (which we won't); it's crystal clear. They have repeatedly gimped and thwarted solo cq PVE players while pimping PVP not just in their own special Season but in ours, too. I will (and have) quit the game before I get herded into PVP, and that is the dev's only goal right now.

They are not fixing a single thing that has been broken for years; they are solely focused on forcing/nudgng PVEers int o PVP. A stupid goal since it will not happen.

This game is not working for PVE players anymore, and you can sputter your defenses all you want, but we are being pushed out unless we just give up and die over and over in PVP/GSF. A thing I will never do (but others most assuredly will and are, and I don't blame them one bit).

The only way this game isn't working for PvE is the lack of new content that FP's and Ops players get. Even Story PvE gets more content then the MMO PvE or PvP/GSF playstyles get. They're not forcing anyone to do any specific content. They may be encouraging people to try content they normally don't play, but your not forced to.

I don't do Ground PvP, have not done any PvP seasons, and don't do the PvP objectives in Galactic seasons either. I'm not forced to do them. I get to rank 100 of season's just fine, even get the 100 weeklies finished without having to do PvP. I don't even need to do GSF or PvP for conquest (Granted I like GSF and do 1 weekly per day). Notice I said 1 weekly. Meaning I do PvE for all of my other characters. I usually get a minimum or 13-20 done in any week I'm pushing, and have managed to get 30 done in some weeks.

This narrative of anyone being FORCED to do content they don't like is complete Bull***t.

The title says it all. Normally, I have the alliance alert appeared straight away after completing Chapter IX and recruited Yuun. As of recently I created a new character this month and I never received the alliance alert. Which was strange to me. I looked around for answer and found a thread on reddit (2 months ago) with some players reported having the same issues. I am not sure if someone reported this issue in the forums but I thought I'll post here. (I'm not subbed so I cannot send a ticket ingame, so that's why)

Is this a known bug or not?

I don't want to replay chapter IX while I haven't completed KotFE because I thought it would be too risky incase I lose the story progression by jumping back to chapter IX from chapter X to get the alliance alert to appear.

If you haven't done the quest Find a Findsman I don't think it will show up anymore. Finish that, and it should be visible.

I completed the requirements to unlock Zeek and Hyde. Now I'm trying to micro manage my stats. For example one guide Suggest that I get 110% accuracy, 7.2% Alacrity, and put the rest in Critical, but the best I can manage is 110.77% Accuracy, 8.12% Alacrity. is there a pattern of modding to get it as close to 110% and 7.2%. should I use the implants and relics for specific stats?

Don't use the stats on implants or relics to adjust your numbers. You want specific implants (due to the set bonus) and relics.

For a DPS you want as close as 2694 as possible (that is 110% if you have the companion story bonus), but you want to go slightly over that rather then under. Once that is set, get your alacrity to at least 2054 for the 1.4 GCD. Most people go slightly over this to compensate for any lag. So if you have 2200 your fine. Then put everything else into crit.

As for relics use FR, and SA because you'll have more then 3k critical.

With my profile I just had to post here.  Great series and Season 2 is greenlit yay!  Cry haters cry!

Now as a fan of this game as well it would be awesome if Baylan Skoll was actually Valkorion.  With what has unfortunately befallen Ray Stevenson I am almost thinking that Season 2 should start with Baylan Skoll's form melting away and out steps tenebrae.

Oh god no. Star Wars has been getting worse and worse over the last decade for the simple fact of they won't leave Dead Characters Dead. I'm so tired of them bringing back characters time after time just because they are not skilled enough or are to lazy to make new enemies to fight. If a character dies, leave them dead!!

Is it another imperial alt you're taking?  The Kessan's landing has different storylines for imp and pub, so it may be that you have to finish both before it opens up for all your alts.

I did both imp and pub storylines, and have Kessan's Landing available for all my characters.

I'll admit I haven't done both factions, however all of my character show Kessan's Landing in the solo section of Activity finder. I did it on imperial side (Assassin), and I couldn't get them on my sniper.

Yes, right-click on your general tab, open chat settings, and turn off system messages.

I'm not sure why Bioware/Broadsword hasn't turned them off by default. The system messages spam the chat with literally everything, XP, CQP, subtitles, pickups. I'm guessing it's the #1 reason players ignore the chat in FPs and Ops. They likely can't see anything.

The game gives you an "Other" tab by default, which contains a copy of all system messages.

The problem with doing this is it also takes out many useful things that people may want to keep having displayed in the chat box. If I only want the Joined/Left messages gone, I can't do that. I'd have to get rid of a lot of other things I want.

  10. I went and used the kessan's landing option in Solo activity finder, ported there on an alt I had not doing the story on yet, and the terminal was not able to be used.

This means if you didn't do the story on that alt, you won't be able to actually do the Daily Area, which we were supposed to be able to do in the last patch.

Don't we have a pvp season going? Keep the two separate!

Your not Forced to do the PvP objectives. I'm  choosing to either do 5/7 or 6/7 objectives this week, because I refuse to do the PvP ones, and don't like some of the others either.

Do the ones you like. You have plenty of time to still get the 800 points, and 100 weeklies done.

I can find a fair amount with Brrazz's gift, but almost none without it. I think it was Vulkk's guide which said the drop rate doubles, but that doesn't appear to be the case. If it was doubled, I should still be finding way more than just 4 in the hour without it. My plan I guess it to just buy a bunch of Brrazz's gift from the seasons vendor near the end of season 6 If I fall short of the 1500 goal.

Remember you get 8 of those gifts from your rewards track. Personally I'd never even consider farming mobs for the blueprints without using the gift. Simply not worth it.

  13. 19 hours ago, Traceguy said:

I spent an hour farming these yesterday with the Brrazz's Gift item. I tried to farm them again today without the boost, and after close to 1 hour, I had only found 4. I thought the drop rate doubled with Brrazz's Gift, but that doesn't appear to be the case. The drop rate seriously needs to be adjusted before the end of the season. With the rep track in past seasons, I don't remember ever having to do so much extra work for the achievement.

Why not hand 1 out for heroics or weeklies?

    image.png.1b3f63ca04d7e59a42c497860025753b.png

Whenever I farm with them I get 60+. Remember there is an anti farming mechanic, so you need to make a wiper loop when doing this or mobs will stop dropping any loot.

I'M STARTING TO THINK THIS GAME IS MADE TO ANNOY ME, IN THE "SECRETS OF THE ENCLAVE" WANNA KNOW ONE OF THOSE SECRETS? A SITH TURNS OUT TO FEAR A BUNCH OF BEASTS, YOU KILL THEM AND MORE RE APPEAR, DARTH RIVIX SEEMS LIKE A INFLUENCE 1 COMPANION EVEN HAVING 25, I HEAL MYSELF WITH THE HEAL MACHINES AROUND THE BATTLE ARENA, OH, AND THE BEST PART, DURING MOST OF THE FIGHT, I CAN'T KEEP MY CHARACTER STILL IN ONE PLACE BECAUSE OF THE MINI PARASITES (random enemies) THAT APPEAR AROUND ME AND IT SHOWS "THE SWARM OVERWHELMS YOU" and plus, i have a short patience (meaning i tend to get desperate or angry easily)

You realize those little adds make you run around right? So kill them ASAP. rest of the fight is easy. Don't stand in circles, or cleave.

Currently, a few weeks into a GS?

or "always" even when there are no GS participants queueing for GSF?

SF and DM usually have solid GSF pops even when Seasons is not going. They just get faster (or multiple matches at the same time) when there is a Galactic Season objective.

I checked mine a few days ago, I was at 480 or something without farming anything, I just raid a lot. So just as I said in another topic, the drop rate is fine. It literally doesn't require any farming at all if you play the correct content. Kinda like with conquest.

Pvp and gsf players are getting showered with conquest points, raiders get the blueprints, which is fair. Ideally everyone would get everything they need from whatever content they want to play, but since that is not happening, at least pvp and gsf players have to work for the blueprints and not just get participation rewards like they already do with conquest.

That depends on how you play. If your consistently raiding you'll be fine. If you do more PvP, GSF then you'll have to either play content you don't normally do (which takes massive amounts of time away from what you do like to do), or You need to use the Brazz's Gift (which does work fine, but again is making people play differently).

Define what u mean by halfway through the season. Doesn't the season go for 5 months or so? Don't think we even a month in at this point. Do you mean half way through the rewards track.

Anyways on topic its a pointless grind for the blueprints just for an achievement. I'm not an achievement type person so I usually just ignore that aspect of stuff, especially if there's not a tangible reward behind it. The title you get from seasons is way better anyways, and iirc it's not tied to grinding the trash.

We're not half way through the season. That individual is incorrect. This is only week 5 out of 20 weeks.

So he is at 385/1500 a quarter of the way through the season.

I was stating that Brazz's token is char bound. It's always been char bound. You missed the point Trace

Well I never used them in the past. I never needed to with the old reputation track. I got plenty of the materials from doing the weeklies alone.

I left all of them sitting on the one character I looted the Reward tracks on every season. I should really just delete the old Jawa Intel. I never once looked to see if the old season ones were BoP or BoL, since I never used them.

Edit: In truth I'm not sure I would have bothered going for those achievements in the past if I didn't have enough just from doing the event weeklies. This has really turned me far more towards other games since this season started. I have to go out of my way to farm these stupid blueprints, because they don't drop from my personal playstyle at all.

  19. 14 minutes ago, Samcuu said:

Yeah damn instead of finishing 6 weeks early I might only finish 5 weeks early 😂😂

Don't know about you, but I'll finish 10 weeks early. I'm always done on either week 9 or 10, unless I'm doing the 100 Weekly achievement.

    For real.

I've been in GSF matches where (being the poor player that I am) I simply COULD NOT get a lock on any of the players on the other team, and because of this I've been removed from the instance entirely. Not only have I been removed, but I've been PENALIZED with a GF lockout for TEN MINUTES because I couldn't hit someone. I understand that this system has been put in place to curb those who would AFK during matches for whatever reward they can get at the end of a game, but for those of us who are ACTUALLY trying, find a better way.

Use lasersl. If all your doing is spamming missiles, people go evasive using Line of Sight the second they hear a missile lock.

Edit: And yes keeping a sat neutral should still be contributing.

16 pieces during a very intense hour of trash mob bashing, including complete weekly on CZ-198 and Onderon. Better than 1-3 pieces a week I usually get on all of my alts in total; worse than expected.

strange I usually get around 60-90 per hour.

I do believe you need to kill mobs in the open world (Ops, and FP's don't drop blueprints to my knowledge), and you need to go to spots where you will have area's to farm that won't have you hitting the anti farming mechanic. Kill mobs to quick and they'll stop dropping all loot.

Remember even the light blue trash from mobs needs to be looted, not just green, dark blue, or purple.
