  1. ok first time doing it, story mode. i encountered no bugs, so thats good thing. maybe they fixed it by now. but people complaining about being too hard (without bugs ofc) its just funny. like i was writing before, like in SoV and similar new stuff, its not supposed to be too easy. and I did malgus on 1st try, so its not that hard, even tho i used medpack and adrenal when i was low on hp. people need to stop expecting to just let comp do all the work. i still believe they shouldnt have nerfed SoV, it was just fine on release.
  2. Yes, its extremely hard but possible. The way I managed to defeat him is by using the downed Republic Walker within the boss fight area as a shield, I charge my weapons until they're maxed out, get out of there and then shoot then immediately get back to somewhere where the boss can't hit me. The key there is being out of his line of sight so his attacks can't hit you, but also be somewhere where you can easily move to attack him once your weapons are fully charged, if you can't hit him because "enemy not on sight" then it means you're out of the line of sight even if it may not look like it. I usually start the fight by staying near the walker's head, it provides a good cover and is relatively easy to get around though you may have to get behind the walker's backside or other places depending on the position of the boss. Best of luck to you!

    yes i just did it 30 mins ago. used that tactic. no other way is possible. tnx :)

  3. Yeah keep at it, it's a fun challenge. When I challenged myself to solo every chapter in MM, I nearly gave up on chapter 2 of KOTET (final geno-haradan fight). Wiped for hours on it, then I discovered a mechanic to make it easier. There might be something I forget about that rancor fight, so keep trying and you'll get it eventually. I found this video online of a sorc heal:

    Seems like you can let the first snack go out. Also, maybe you can try putting comp on DPS mode and go full out "burn before you get burned". Just throwing ideas out there. that boss is a lot harder for melee than range.

    yeah, i feel you. i gave up on genoharadans fight also, had friend come over to help me. lost nerves in soloing, just gave up. but rancor is somewhere close to it. ill try now with theron higher influence and tactics described here. hope it works

  4. same as i wrote on other post;

    well i had big issues here on walker on master mode, chapter 1. first i tried avoiding some adds on the way to the shrine. cant do that, cause if you sneak past some they basically teleport after you engage some other adds later, so no way to survive like that. kill in order, smaller groups, try breaking rocket launchers.

    as for the boss, avoid red AoE. when he summons rocket adds, immediately search for them and throw gravity or rocket. kill asap, every time. i managed it like that in first try.

    hope this helps :)
