[No credit for weeklies doing flashpoints]

Queued for Athiss, Czerka Labs, Czerka Meltdown - got Athiss. Did FP. Didn't get credit for weeklies.

Remembered you have to queue for all. Queued for all, got "A Traitor Among the Chiss" - completed that really long FP and no credit again.

 

Looked at the bugged Ruins of Nul Story FP that I still can't do. ALT+F4 and back to Lost Ark.

[Issue with the Launcher and Intel i7-12700k]

Reporting that I fixed the same launcher issue where you would see it opening from the task bar but then disappearing. I have a Kaby Lake CPU (i9 9900K) and full specs are below for reference.

 

The method posted here below worked for me. I turned off running as administrator for the launcher.exe and the SWTOR.exe then did a search on PC for the steam_appid.txt file. two instances came up and I deleted both. I then attempted to open the launcher. This worked, and subsequently the game launched.

 

I realize this issue may still be persisting for the Alderlake CPUS, sucks if so but I want you all to know I feel your pain, I was so close to cancelling sub and just giving up.

I stopped PvPing when losses no longer counted as 1 out of 15 for the weekly. That didn't really feel much like encouraging participation.

[SWTOR Repair From Steam: It Just Works!]

My first experience with repairing my SWTOR from Steam was suprisingly painless.

 

Having remembered how much of a pain repairing pre-Steam and sometimes having to completely reinstall, I was worried when I noticed some textures were no longer showing for Tau's gloves, causing them to show as pink.

 

Googled how to repair SWTOR from Steam (Go to steam library, right click game, go to properties, go to local files, click "verify integrity of game files") and did the verify integrity. It took a few minutes, and then prompted that it would download some files. Then it was done and my problem was fixed.

 

Really digging SWTOR from Steam!

As a follow up, it's happening in every Tatooine stronghold I zone into on the public directory. South room of the Cliffside compound. Naked Rusk and a base clothed Qyzen Fess.

This is occurring in my Tatooine stronghold - I have no way to remove them. They're standing there and not attributed to any hook. One is Rusk and one looks like Qyzen Fess.

 

This has been going on for four years? wow.

I didn't like your dance moves, so I've been complaining to Bioware every day for many days. They finally listened to me and have met me in the middle by limiting to 6 seconds. My preference was to immediately teleport you 100ft. in the air and fall.

[Broken Emperor Slots]

I just had a griefer come in to try to break one in my instance on the starforge server and i think maybe a personal phase or a SH deco would help fixing it

 

Yup - that is primarily why deco is an important thing to assess. I was clicking and there was a line behind me, and someone cut in as next in line right infront of Swtorista. Felt bad for her lol.

 

At this point, it will get worse and worse as people are more selfishly trying to finish and get the mount. so the cutting and fighting over the 3 nodes per instance is going to get crazy.

Feedback regarding the troublesome Emperor Slot Machine: Make Emperor Slot Machine a Decoration for Stronghold. If it breaks in a stronghold, players can pick it up and place it back down again.

To get it, create vendor by the main vendors for nightlife that has the deco for 1 credit, can have a maximum of 10.

 

I won't assume any level of difficulty of making this a slot machine deco, such as the Contraband Slot Machine. Just ask for considering it in looking at ways to fix. My experience was that I was lined up waiting awhile because they broke fast and only a few remained working. The experience wasn't very fun because it took a few weeks for the update, and so several folks had saved up a lot of tokens (myself included, about 50). In short: I don't think the three slot machines will cut it now, similar to the benefit of having the Contraband slot machines when nightlife came our originally.

[Why many of us really dislike our new AoE ability]

In 4.0 we did get Phantom Stride which was Phase walks "replacement" ability. The only problem with this ability is that its not reliable. It will often just not work, send you vertical, send you flying, put you somewhere halfway. Its not very well liked among many of us for this reason.

Use Authy for a lot of services and wanted to use it for SWTOR. This helped, and I'm glad I don't need to use "SWTORSK" app anymore.

[Allow characters to be a decoration]

As title states, we put a lot of effort into styling our characters and a lot of us by now have quite a few characters.

 

It would be really cool to be able to use characters as decorations, just as companions.

I have approximately 44 characters, all 75's. the 4 char per page tabbing can get a bit tough when finding a char.

 

Some suggestions for making it faster, could be one or a combination of the below, or something like the below:

1. Add a wildcard text filter, that would filter the list of characters
   
2. List all character names with one scroll, rather than only 4 per page
   
3. Increase the amount per page
   
4. add faction filtering (pub/imp)
   

 

Thanks for considering - this would fit under focus of "QoL" for those that are buying up those delicious insta 70 tokens off the cartel market.

[GTN - Filter Addition (Not Already Owned)]

Problem statement:

While searching for items on the GTN (Decorations), I am trying to get at least one item of every decoration I do not already have. I am unable to do this easily. I have to mouse over each item looking for "0/1" indicators.

 

User Story:

I would like to be able to filter on items that I do not own/have unlocked, where it is reasonably able to discern. Such scenarios where the game already is able to identify are: unlocked gear in legacy and decoration owns count.

[Decorations disappearing from the list slowly as I decorate]

I got this issue after just being back, splurging on some decos and getting Don the Exiled Knight! I wanted to add these and couldn't see them, WTH!

 

I haven't seen what you're referring to, but the search bar function in decos is slightly weird - to see all the decorations, rather than having it blank you need to put a space in it. Perhaps that will help

Thanks SO MUCH for this tip - that is a really odd filter but allowed me to at least manage the freak out of decos disappearing.

 

Clearing and putting a space will only show you decorations with two or more words in the name.

Eventually, you'll have to restart the game (re-logging a toon isn't enough).

Should have known, nothing a simple restart of the game fixes for most issues. Thank YOU!
