  1. 5. Remove the speed boost to Sneak in the Fight or Flight skill and add it so that Sneak can now be used as an in combat stealth like Force Camouflage. Allow the use of Shoot First while under the effects of Sneak, but reword and rework K.O. so that the knockdown only works from natural stealth, not in combat stealth.

     

    6. Rework Surprise Comeback to let it actually live up to its name. Have it reduce the CD on Pugnacity to 1 min and have it heal for 30% up front, not a HoT. Or honestly just change it back to the way it was. But change it please, the current one is not good.

     

     

    yes yes yes yes omg yes. these two things would be game changers, and would be enough for me to actually want to use my scrapper in arenas/pve!!!!

    5. increases dps, allows the use of shoot first w/o being uber op. super smart, love it!

    6. great survivability increase. not any different from the guardians heal or adrenaline rush on the troopers, right?

    in addition to what he said, maybe make the use of sabotage able to be used out of cover. if this makes it "too op" you could reduce the energy cost and damage of SC, maybe?

  2. if money got involved and a tournament of some sourts was started, I would agree that the game would immediately sky-rocket and get tons of peeps to come back. The only problem is that class balance isnt very good atm so itll just be all teams of op heals, vanguard dps and mara dps. and EA isnt very good at spending money... theyd rather have you pay to go play in the tournaments. *sigh* one can only dream. Would be pretty awesome if they did though.
  3. No worries. I've been noticing it for a while now (ever since I first got the skill) and never bothered to look it up, so it obviously isn't cramping my style. The IA seems so godawful OP by way of comparison to my Sent (or rather how I play the Sent, which is probably more accurate) that I haven't needed it.

     

    How *is* the smuggler story line, by the way? I got a bit bored with it shortly after hitting Coruscant, and haven't been back to it yet.

    Works for me. And the scound storyline is interesting imo, was expecting certain things to happen.

    Scoundrel scrapper dps, tons of fun, love it

    PT AP DPS, yeah its somewhat op, but its tons of fun to play imo

    Sage heals, ive always enjoyed this spec since i rolled my sage, been healing since 10, will heal forevermore.

  6. Hi, so, as you can see from the thread title, i am looking for a good pvp guild that plays using eastern or central time zones. If i se interest in your guild, ill ask you more questions ingame rather than here on the forums, so, yeah.

    As you can also see from my signature, i have chars of pretty much all the clases, all of which are at least mid-level or higher. I am very comfortabl with all classes and spec in pvp, and i am also willing to tryout to prove this. Of the chars listed in my signature my jugg dps, sent dps, and sage heals are all 55. My op heals, sniper, scoun, vanguard, shadow are all 45+. Everyone else is 30+ (cept my powertech). Like i said, willing to reroll if that is what you want, you cAn contact me ingame and stuff, ill be on otorì the most. So yeah. Thanks :D

  7. mara dps is "op" in every way. good utility, burst, and sustained dps. amazing for pvp and pve. juggs are meh. better to go tank than dps if u role one. pve dps is mediocre at best, pvp is pretty ok as lolsmasher (rage spec). Sin dps sucks in pve and is ok in pvp. dont go madness though, it sucks in both lol... sin tanks are ok though.
  8. So far in my experience mando heals feels not on par but deffinately not out of its league in 4v4. Played a few games last night with the following set up: vanguard tank, vanguard tactics, sentinel focus and combat medic and we faced mostly 2smash 1guardian tank 1op healer teams and had success versus some and lost to others, but always managed to at least get 1 round off them. The times we did lose felt like execution failures and not like the commando was dragging down the team by a significant margin.

     

    I did feel the stress of having to keep people up when we're on the backfoot and in my opinion that is the weakness of the comp, no decent way to rebound when we're under pressure but we'd still need to play a lot more games to get better and work with our synergy.

     

    Had I been an operative would have we won? Most likely because the op class would have carried my mistakes and would have relieved pressure in places where the mando starts to slowly fall behind. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that while we're clearly behind scouperatives in terms of viability, I did not feel like I was severely gimping my team mates (and friends) by being a stubborn bastard and insisting I healed on mando. I think it's possible to at least be a challenge, as is, as commando combat medic.

     

    I agree completely with this, op heals are the op healing spec for pvp. They pretty much alwayshave (cept pre 1.2) and probably always will be. The only way to get the other two on the same level is to bufff them, which the (sort of) did in 2.0 though, sages were brought to the scoundrels level (pve wise) the commandos small buffs werent really enough. The commandos are way to easy to shut down, theyre heavy armor wont mean anything if they cant use a single healing ability unless they use kolto bomb every 6secs and a bacta infusion eevery 20 ( correct me if im wrong on those) and even those heals are pretty weak, with just 4k crits on kolto bomb and 6k crits on bacta infusion, pretty sad compared to the ops 5k crit, free, insta cast, no cooldown surgical probe. They just need a little dev love, but we know that probs wont happen,. But seriously, even i could think of a few key buffs that would make them way more viable in pvp AND pve.
