  1. +1

Got a couple of chars that should have switched to the mirrored but ended up with 2 specs. I'd really like to "solve" the thing and make them like I planned.

Could be my bad for lack of information, but all the talking at the time made things more confused of what they actually are.

Still, a guide would have been better then a couple of "ok" to press to confirm the choice when you think it will do a different thing.

This is exactly the one thing bioware didn't tell anyone, that you had to switch alignment FIRST then you'd get the option to switch to your mirror class.

There's no article explaining it, no one talks about it. Everyone just says "you have the option to switch" but no one actually knows or explains in depth how it works.

I had to run Light side missions on my Jugg to get him to Light 1 to only then run the Training in the Force quest.

  2. we are targeting 7.0.2 to be deployed in the coming weeks.

    That's really unnaceptable.

You know what? Because of this I just bought 6 months of FFXIV subscription.

    I tried enjoying 7.0, I really did.

  3. Tech Fragments(global), Medal of Commendation(global), Thyrsian(pvp/GSF), Hazardous (Operations), Aquatic(conquest), Decurion(Flashpoint).

I've never seen this much of currencies in this game.

I'm gonna give you two suggestions:

1 - Let's use only Tech Fragments, then of course higher content will drop more, you got the idea.

2 - 4 Currencies: Tech Fragments, OP-1 (Operations), WZ-1 (warzones, GSF) and CQ-1 (Flashpoint, heroics, story, conquest stuff, dailies).

Less names, less clutter, less confusion, less complaints, less balance problems.

  4. You know it's getting real when BW manages to piss off the 1% too.

Pretty much everything in the game needs to drop more tech fragments.

I LOVE the fact they have no one to back them up now, because we're all dead.

Bioware killed the story -> The 1% was quiet because they don't care.

Bioware killed conquest ->The 1% was quiet because they don't care.

Bioware killed playing multiple alts -> The 1% was quiet because they don't care.

Bioware killed pvp -> The 1% was quiet because they don't care.

Now Bioware is killing the 1%, there's no one to join their vocal minority.

  5. sure it used to be at launch, it was fun, then the so called "elite" players started trying to figure out any and all exploits they could find, oh and using cheats and hacks, thanks but no thanks.

Why are you talking about hacks and exploits?

Shadow Infiltration is one of the best pvp specs and it's amazing for pve. It is super fun.

Why are you mentioning elite players? What does it have to do with anything?

  6. This is one thing that Bioware did not tell you. You won't find any articles explaining in depth how it truly works.

You gotta change your alignment BEFORE completing the quest "Training in the force".

My Jugg was Dark 5, I had to ran Diplomacy missions until I got Light 1, only then the quest gave me the option to switch from Jugg to Guardian.

Imagine the number of people that did it wrong.

There's no Bioware article warning players of this "requirement". Bioware just assumed that you had the correct aligment before 7.0.

  7. you guys laugh at NFT

but I think the 10th anniversary crafting update is going to include some hero shard, or collectible card, or japanese gacha, or speed up mechanics so the company can monetize an extra gameplay system with ideas from genshin impact or a mobile game like Galaxy of Heroes or those time based strategy mobile games that are a dime a dozen and nickel and dime you every day.

If that happens you'll see a mass exodus.

  8. I'm just trying to complete the recruitment quests for the Alliance in KotFE and, while I knew I was going to be garbage, I'm floored by how quickly I was dropped. Like I said; I wasn't expecting to glide through without challenge, but, people are killing me in less than 5 seconds. What am I doing wrong here? Is it because I'm playing a Shadow? I was told Shadows suck when I first made my character, not to mention I'm garbage at this game because I play alone most of the time, but I didn't realize that at level 77 I would be THIS awful.

Whoever told you that Shadow suck has Z E R O idea how the game works.

Pvp in this game is complex, each class has 3 specs, each spec has its counters, burst window, weakness and strongness. It takes a lot of time to learn it all.

Yes you gonna die in 5 secs if you don't know what you're doing, but if you learn how to defend yourself those 5 seconds will never happen if you play your class correctly.

This game has the best pvp IMO compared to ESO, WoW, FFXIV and Gw2.

  9. No, thanks.

I tried NFT "games" and it's a nightmare. The "games" are developed to make you waste time and buy stuff from cash shop. It's a massive barrier of "Creating problems to sell the solution".

    It's a horrible experience.

We play Swtor to have fun, NFT's are NOT fun.

"huurr dur but you gonna get money", there's plenty people that rather have fun then think about money 24/7 like you crypto-heads.

  10. The leveling experience and the BEST content this game contains, that made by the original devs, is ruined by this horribly over accelerated leveling and ability gain pacing. They’ve also ruined all semblance of quest rewards or loot drops putting everything in a dumb box that’s totally dynamic. By the time you’re on the second planet you already look like the most ****** Sith Lord - so much for pacing and meaningful progression. The level scaling concept is a horrible facet of modern game design. They need to slow down leveling by at least 75% AND change the loot and reward system back to how it used to be. Also remove level scaling. This game will never attract new players because people get a few hours in and realize the meaningful progression has been removed and the leveling is an absolute cakewalk with no challenge or satisfaction. Lol they can’t even ask players to walk to their trainer to get a new ability! This game has been completely changed to cater to the absolute worst subsection of gamers and it’s caused the downfall. The game will fizzle out completely unless they make the leveling and story experience the way it used to be.

This is clearly a troll post.

There's an item on Fleet, I don't remember the name that freezes your XP, use it.

If this game had good loot on leveling you'd be complaining either way.

  11. Yes, just what we need is another outcry of "Balance the classes" because 7.0 didnt wreck the game enough trying to bring that new vision...seeking balance, has destroyed more MMOs than anything else.

Ever trying actually playing a class because its fun instead of what is the "best".

People that parse data are elitists. going for and demanding that extra 0.005% out of people for your OPS, ruins the game which is supposed to be a thing done for fun.

You completely fail to see that parses helps a lot when it comes to balance a DoT/burst spec, aoe damage, aoe healing, boss phases etc etc.

It makes a better game FOR Y-O-U to enjoy, so stop. S T O P trying to cancel those that actually brings something important to the game.

  12. This doesn't sound like a genuine question. More like someone who is jealous other people are getting good gear and wants to highlight that to BW so BW will nerf it.

Or maybe because not even veterans can understand the logic behind this gearing system.

"huurrr durr you're jealous derp"

  13. I'd be 100% ok with:

    - ALL content drops up to 326 PURPLE.

    - HM drops 326 then you upgrade to 328 then to 330.

    - NiM drops 330 or 328.

Tertiary stats REMOVED from scaling and that's it, revert it to 6.3 and be done with it.

  14. I agree with you. A bunch of fury monkeys running around, doing top damage by pressing the glowy buttons wouldn't even be that terrible, IF they *********** nerfed predation. Predation is so strong. In fact, predation might be the strongest utility a dps class can offer to the team besides sorc pull.

    1) Predation is on a practically non-existent CD.

    2) Predation causes massive amounts of lag, fps drops, and dsync.

    3) Predation gives 70% movement speed to EVERYONE on your team. This last point can't be understated. 70% movement speed is insane. Positioning is practically non-existent when you can cross the map in a couple seconds with predation.

And the best part is now that fury is literally the strongest class in the game, there are going to be a lot of fury marauder rerollers. The practically 100% uptime on predation is just to be great. Going to love the 100% uptime on dsync.

    Stop, please stop.

Marauder is a glass cannon class now, it has force camouflage and undying Rage on a TWO and HALF minutes cooldown, it's very very easy to kill a marauder. Of course they gotta do high damage, it's the tradeoff for having no survivability compared to Sniper, sorc, mercs, op.
