  1. Beacuse the Set bonuses dont come along with the battlemaster armoring the tradeoff is basically get augments or get set bonuses. Seems a bit silly. Ok i guess if you dont have valor rank 70 yet and you get warhero gear you can put em on crafted battlemaster gear with augments, but at the rate of which you get valor it is very likely you have valor rank 70 already when you start to get warhero gear.

     

    So is it worth it to loose Set Bonuses for the Extra stats the augment slots give?

    I have been looking for this chest piece http://www.torhead.com/item/4nfB6s/tempered-laminoid-chestguard and have yet to find it.

    I am lvl 49 and have the lvl 49 purple version of it but i neeeds the orange haha.

     

    I have been running around tat killing everything I find (including rebels players heheh) trying to see where the heck this item drops from.

     

    If any of you know where its looted, please fill me in.

  3. The OP brings good points, nevertheless the damage output added to the other benefits of tracer/grav is a bit overkill.

     

    You usually have to choose whether you debuff your target to set up burst, or deal acceptable amounts of damage. In its current state tracer is the ultimate package.

     

    True, but that also means if it is interrupted you loose that all

  4. i see more and more people learn to interrupt tracer missile, this really screws BH/troopper over as he cant stack any of those things and he has to use powershot which is weapon damage so mitigated by a lot of things so crap dmg or heal himself when he does no dmg
  5. Gotta Love my 15sec cd jetboost on huttball, only thing that is really annoying is that because of the animation it has a 1sec delay of when you actually press it, screwed me over many times. Also as mercenary really needs to stand still to do damage you can just run away from them and survive easily on 1v1 situatio0ns.

     

    Also if you interrupt their tracer missile many Mercs don't know what to do, really funny to watch when that happens.

     

    Also many classes has some kinda knockback resist skill really annoying :)

  6. Pretty easy, i used only Mako too as arsenal specced merc. I was able to solo most heroic 2+ quests after i got that 1min cc skill. I also out leveled each zone by couple levels so it made it even easier. And you are able to heal basically all heroic 4 quests too if your group has a bit of cc.
  7. Everybody always raves about the rocket punch knock back, but other than knocking people off ledges in huttball with that ( which is nice ) i find little to use it otherwise ( poor interrupt as it doesn't lock the spell school ). The knock back of it is so small that the enemy is back on you before your global cd has ended so cant use unload to slow them down or get a heal off.

     

    Could someone tell me how to effectively use the knock back of talented rocket punch?

  8. a bit off topic, but anyone else has problems that death from above don't deal any damage in PVP. More than once there has been a nice pile of enemy players and i do death from above on them and it does no damage, kinda annoying.
