    In it´s current state, NO. Although I had a serious amount of fun with some group flashpoints and the storyline. Unsubscribed and will be back when/if the below disappointments are gone:

     

    Early on I expected a fantastic space flight experience, like in good old X-Wing Vs. Tie Fighter times, but even better with huge multiplayer space battles and missions. And a LVL 50 "Deathstar Trench-like" experience, close to Star Wars Episode IV.

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected huge planets to explore, not "Maps". Exhaustion zones and invisible lines?

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected living, breathing worlds with day/nighttime changes and weather conditions, like any recent Rockstar game, e.g. Red Dead Redemption.

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected planets populated by huge numbers of players, and a housing possibility. Also, all players in the SAME world, not seperated over countless instances and servers, which are now deserted. I hoped this would be "massive multiplayer", not "10 guys on my planet multiplayer".

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected "Skyrim"-like, more life-like graphics

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected great enemy AI and enemies acting more natural, not just standing around in groups waiting to be killed.

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected my companion and fellow player would sit in my two-seated taxi when I am using it.

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected a more smooth experience, cool rendered transitions when I travel or land somewhere instead of black screens, mediocre low-framerate game engine animation, a dull loading screen or a chat bubble (!!), when I open the door of my spaceship to land it. :confused:

     

    Got disappointed.

     

    I expected a really cool animation for going into hyperspace, and the feeling to "explore the known or perhaps unknown universe", some Privateer- or EVE like trading. Having the opportunity to manually fly my space ship to other planets. Being able to enter orbit or docking on to space stations.

     

    Got VERY, VERY disappointed.

     

     

    What I did NOT expect:

     

    I did no expect that every single repetitive side mission needs full voiceovers, ressources should have gone elsewhere.

     

     

     

    I agree with everything in this, i guess i just put to much hope into this game

    No......

     

    To on rails, i thought the space combat was Free world, and thought this game was gonna be more open world, i never played SWG, but i was getting the hint that it would be open world and stuff like that and get to buy different Ships and make them look cool inside of them.

     

    thought there would be stuff like entertainers and other stuff like that, i guess i was thinking it was just gonna be like SWG (as i never played it i just liked the sound of sandbox game play)

     

     

    was also thinking to go to different planets i would be able to fly there my self, but it just auto takes me there, guess i was thinking to high i guess

     

     

    i mean i am still giving it a go for one more month, just got my sith inq to 50 and lvling a Bounty hunter to 50 now, if nothing changes by the time i am 50 on my BH then i think i am done with this game

     

    Also thought there would be a day and night thing in it, and i hate the whole zones like Hoth 1 and Hoth 2, i know they will add LFG tool but i know they will also add the stupid Cross server LFG and ruin the community like they did in WoW and ruined that for me

    So was reading the site and it says this for when the game comes out for the asia "All players who qualify for a character transfer will be notified in early March with more details."

     

     

    the thing is im in USA and i wanted to play on a Australia realm because i play on there peak time and the realm i am on now well im sure all the aussies will transfer and turn into a dead realm is this gonna offer everyone who wants to transfer to there realms or in your information does it have to say i live in Australia

    soo just wondering what is the "unoffical" realm for aussies? been looking for a realm that has a peak time from like 11pm central to like 3AM. dont matter what type of realm it is as long as the peak hours are night time 11pm to after

    just hit lvl 33 on my SI and 28 on my JG, must say i kinda hit a wall and i hit it very hard when i beat act 1.....the story was very very cool as the SI but right after act 1 it just drop for me.. idk why or how but it just did now im just trying to keep going and hoping something will just wow me into it again maybe im playing to much but im still gonna try and do it, i was a WoW player but WoW crashed me when WOTLK came out as i am a pre wotlk lover, and everytime i log back into WoW it just aint fun because there is nothing new and i miss when epics where welll.... epics

    Love the game, but I would like to be able change factions

    in everquest 2 there is a quest change factions which i thought was pretty cool becuase they had races on the bad side that couldent pick from the start on the good side....

     

    i think they should make a quest line for it and can only do it once

     

     

    the stats and gear are the same ? sith inq assassin changing into a con-shadow would be same stats and gear, the only thing your bring over is your race (a red zabrak on the republic side)

     

    only thing i could see is that they change your companions over to the good ones and puts there gear in your bags from what you gave them

    i disagree with OP there is games for people and then there is not..... and sadly this is not a game for you..... if you not in it for the story then this is REALLY not for you... maybe try a mmo that does not matter about story? or something that is based off pvp? GW2? or even maybe WoW

     

    im not big into PVP and never have been even in WoW, and the graphics are ok, but i think they made it this way so people with old hardware can play this game like alot of mmos do this, if they make the graphics to good and then people with the old hardware cant play this game and they lose money that way

    which one are you talking about? the old one where it was not a auto finder or the newer one? if its the old one then that is fine but the auto finder then NO it makes people lazy and then they drop out really fast if you fail on the first boss because they know they can just queue again in a few mins i hate how Wow become so lazy LFG channel all the way

    i dont like WoW anymore because it don't take skill anymore, and EVERYONE has epics..... i like it when epics meant something, i had to work my *** off in MC for my tier 1 and then now you can get them easy... in 4.3 i was done with all the content and downed death wing in a week..... a new raid should not be done in a week it was to easy

     

    WoW is a good game but atm where it is standing its kinda crappy the way they made it to easy and epics is meant nothing anymore,

     

    swtor is a pretty good game it reminds me of old WoW but alot of people dont like old WoW because they were not handed epics to them and had to make a effort to look for a group, alot of the Wow fan boys come in when wotlk came out and when WoW was ruined and they defend the game that came out then,

     

    i would give swtor around a 7.5 its good but not the best BUT it has only been out 1day for alot of people.... there will be update people just have to wait, which well it seems people are having a blast bashing this game because they picked a realm that said full and expect it not to have a wait on it, my realm is finally on full now and a 15 min queue but thats my bad because i chose a realm that was heavy and im lvl 26, but ill just make a new guy on a light realm and call it a day only took like 3 days to get that level......
