  1. This is NOT bashing on you OP. I dont know how else to put it.

Look at your wording at how you evaluate this patch. "Its all cartel market based".

Yet people have been posting for over a year asking for the ability to re-customize or color thier armor, even if they have to pay for it, they WANT it. To them its FINALLY here, customization. That's what they call it. If you look at it from thier point of view its a very positive thing.

From your point of view its all cartel market stuff and therefore a bad thing. Your perpective is NOT what everyone's is.

Just because the market exists doesnt mean its a bad thing. In fact I submit its great. Even though I hadly ever buy anything from it (though I might have to after I saw the new silver-blue crystals)

Just remember, the cartel market is saved this game, ONE team works on adding stuff to it and its not pay to win (yet admittedly). Other teams are working on pvp, pve, classes, expansions, bugfixes etc. Market developement is NOT taking away much from other parts of the game.

Also if you remember that every patch isnt going to be something that you want but others may (pvpers get some maps but you're a pve-er), CM gets some stuff that you wont buy, bug fixes that dont effect you, a new dungeon that you are exceited about, then I think you'd have a much better outlook on life.

  2. They could comment on whether or not EA selling would lead to this game being closed down. I get the feeling that they simply don't want to seeing as how they keep deleting every thread that mentions EA is thinking about going up for sale. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/business/mad_for_madden_3lyqSl04ZEpZeO9Zmh81GI It is a very fair question.

I'm sorry but that is the silliest request I've read in some time.

    1. It hasn't sold

    2. They have no idea who the buyer may or not be and what they will do.

They are not sages and cannot read the future so commenting on that request would HAVE to be "we don't know".

  3. -Fixed an issue that could allow players to gain unearned items or crafting materials.

Thats it! nothing game breaking, nothing effecting peoples game play what so ever, a small bug giving people so extra crafting mats. This is just stupid BW.

Stop bring the servers down for UN important updates.

Okay, let me get this straight, people are exploting and getting free items and crafting materials, potentially unlimited amounts and perhaps very expensive stuff then selling them on the GTN ISN'T game breaking??? That's an absolutly critical thing to correct immediatly if you think about it. I know some people will say the economy ***** anyway, who cares. But I'm not one of them, maybe you are. The economy is important to alot of people.

  4. You clearly misunderstood my simplistic post. I was saying there is NO REASON why Bioware can't hire consultants to fix the problem if they are incapable of fixing the issue on their own. My point is there is no excuse for allowing hacks AND exploits to continue; the excuse of "well Bioware doesn't have the technical expertise" is asinine. Here is the ENTIRE post in case you didn’t read the person I had quoted.

Please read posts a bit more thoroughly before trying and failing to respond to a quote. No where in my post did I state that hacks were non-existent, nor do I need to check facts on an opinion.

I have seen and fraps speed hacks and hacks that prevent the player from using their resource (Heat/Force/Ammo, etc), so I am no idiot.

You sir, need to check YOUR facts.

Embarrassingly I tried to respond to the same person you responded to. My apologies. He was the one that questioned thier ability to fix hacks. That is what I was refuting. Apparently the quote button ABOVE a post is the one you click on, not the one at the end

  5. This is asinine. Get consultants... there really is no excuse for allowing people who implement and use cheats in your game to get away with it.

I know you are assuming so all I can say is check your facts. A few months ago when the first hacking reports started coming into this forum I checked a few of the more popular hacking sites I saw to my dismay there were indeed hacks out there

But in reading the forum posts on the hack sites I could see people complaining about 1 week to perma bans in regards to some of the hacks so bio ware IS actively working against hackers. Now the question as to if they are effective enough is subjective. They aren't getting all the hacks bit it seems they are working at it

Now if you are talking exploits that's a different subject but I've read the patch notes and I know they have closed some holes in some maps. So I guess they are trying to do that too
