    No, it's not. Caps dont help there.

    I've done both last weekend. Yes you get nice XP in warzones with all the boosts, sometimes more than 70k for a long warzone in higher levels but there are many short games, which leave you with less XP.

    But the major disadvantage is that you have to load warzones and planets over and over again before and after each warzone. While on Ilum you just keep killing. You still need more than 5 warzones for a level, which equals more than one hour. You appearently have no idea how many levels you gain in one hour on Ilum.

  2. Goomba's wasn't the same when Thexder and Octwo weren't together in matches. Any other Vanguard rotation and it was very easy to drop both.

     

    If I remember correctly, you fellers ran 4dps, 1 dps/tank hybrid shadow, 2 scoundrel healers, and a pure tank. That comp stands virtually no chance verse any 3 guard team. From our perspective, you guys just didn't have the tools available, but I think we (Old Republic War) only faced off against Goomba's maybe 2-3 times in rateds.

     

    Thats about right, 1 Sage 1 Scoundrel healer and the Shadow at the offpoint.

     

    But on topic:

    You wanna know where Republic PVP healers are? They met guys like this Rocc and gave up.

  3. I believe it was Goomba's teamspeak or mumble that you got your rage climax in, which I deserved because you guys stomped the hell out of us. Big time problems with that guild, no area stun calls, assist was nonexistent, really the only thing we had was Q and Didious doing their job. So, I ended up leaving that guild mainly because of structure dynamic as previously mentioned.

     

    Oh please **** already.

    Not even Q thought he did a good job cause he ****ed up the off point several times and because he never managed to bring another class we had to let him play the shadow.

    And you were the biggest joke. You were just burning (not killing) everything. There is no point in calling AoE stuns when VicVega is running around like crazy with his dumb AoE spec. We always wanted to CC healers and kill DPS but it was never possible with you on the team putting burn Dots on everybody. You were nothing before you joined the Goombas and now you are fail again.

  4. You know that the current gear available in the cartel store is adaptive gear, right? You can already do this (with the exception of companion customizations). In addition, last time I checked, droids could use heavy armor and droid armor. So, while admittedly silly, you could slap that cartel shop smuggler jacket on your t7 and mod it up however you wanted. I will agree with you that it would be nice to see some love for the companions there, though, especially the droids. Droid love isn't creepy unless you make it creepy (plutonicly speaking of course....)

    What the heck are you talking about - droid armor? There is no droid armor and droids cannot wear heavy or adaptive armor. Droids need units, cores, motors and parts.

    Anyways I think he knows, that you can equip every companion somehow, if you want to.

  5. It is. The duplicated half intensity attacks inflicted on the tank through guard go through all the same mitigation rolls/reductions that a normal attack would. That most attacks in a PvP environment bypass defense/shield doesn't have anything to do with guard mechanics.

     

    We tried that, too. The Vanguard attacked me with his basic attack for quite a time. I dodged some shots but my Tank didnt reflect or shield a single one.

  6. Being outplayed because the other team has a class youre lacking is why you think about your setup.

    What you want to have is:

    a: there shouldnt be anything unique to any class

    OR

    b: warzones where tools doesnt matter

     

    good luck with that

     

    If you cant send a Shadow/Assassin, send a Sage/Sorc and switch postions later. Go with him and stop whoever is going to interfere him. You have two stuns, stealth detection and a pull. If you have no stealhter to hold a turret at all, youre steup is just weak.

  7. I dont get the whine. You can still chain 4 attacks that hit for around 4500+ each (without Particle Acceleration). Sure, you need a little luck on the melee crits but it happens all the time for me and my melee crit is below 35% (without Force Synergy).

    Your imaginary 8k-9k projects shouldnt be possible anyways. I mean Project - Double Strike - Project -> dead seems like bad game design for me.

    Go get survivor gear and stalker gear, switch mods and enhancemnts... now what?

     

    Anyways...

    The set boni already give you the buff for the roll you want to play.

    Easy fix for the Shadow/Assassin Tank Spec: Reduce the damage effect of Harnessed Shadows/Darkness and remove the Autocrit on Project/Shock or move it to another tree.

    b: Ah, I see. Lets reduce the Force cost of their alpha strike and take away some survivabilty.

    a: Em, actually theyre supposed to be tanky but they deal too much damage.

    b: Shut up. If you want to be tanky play Marauder.

  10. It depends on the situation. If I focus on being in combat all match and have a pocket healer those kind of numbers is going to happen regardless of what tank advance class I play. If you're more focused on objectives it's not as easy to get those **** numbers. You guys are letting those numbers lul you into a belief of OPness.

     

    Well, you might right on that but I didnt want say things like: I **** bad geared people in 10 seconds and the rest in 20-30 seconds. If there is only one guy defending a turret in Alderaan, its mine (unless hes a healer). I just didnt want to sound like these RoXXors but what really luls me into a belief of OPness is just that. I will kill anyone guarding an objective pretty fast, not as fast as real dps classes but fast. Then I can guard that objective against 3 enemies long enough to get backup. I can carry the ball, pull, taunt and stun people, guard friends. Most of that is the same for the other tank classes but my stealth is an huge advantage in objective based warzones. I dont have a guardian but I can say that my Vanguard deals less damage in the tank tree, while I get almost everything i want in the 31/0/10 spec of the shadow.

  11. Stealth and survivability is not OP. Your damage is laughable compared to real dps classes. If you go dps gear, you will get steamrolled and still do less damage than a decent dps class. If you go tank gear you will live for a long time, but I won't be worried about your damage. It's the self heals (which any good maruader/sentinel has) and survivability that annoys people. That and the freaking stealth stun haha.

     

    In a 1v1, the only way you kill me is if I play like an idiot or start at half health. With a pocket healer that I can't reach you are indestructible, but then again, you put a pocket healer on a Marauder/Sentinel, and they will farm your ugly tank assassin, and the next 5 guys who try to come near him without breaking a sweat.

     

    And here we go again people claiming tank shadows have no dps. I think you should not hit 400k dmg and 100k protection in the same match (voidstar ofc) with about 60k heal but thats what we do. There are classes with higher dps but ours is not laughable at all. 400k dmg with 4,4k hits is just too much for a spec with all that tools. Or as I said in another thread:

    Autocrits on the Project with 50% extra damage when Force Potency is up + 45% chance of throwing a 2nd Debris that deals 50% additional damage. And when I'm at that point you get my 175% Tele Throw, which if it crits takes 8k from you in 4 ticks in 2s and because i stunned you, you take more damage from every source. Many people are dead before i get below 80%.

    The self heal might be a nice gimmick but the real issue is, that you have way too high dps for playing in a tanking stance and tanking tree, that lets me use the knockdown out of stealth, gives me 5 seconds lol mode, a pull and 30% better Force Reg, next to my force speed, force wave and blackout.

  12. If The sintanks you are talking about are running in DPS gear (which they aren't btw, they are running in tank gear with various DPS mods from both stalker sets and other gear sets), then they are more than likely also using a focus gen and not a shield gen.

     

    Why would i put on that ****** tank set? Even if i switch mods, there is nothing on this gear I would keep.

     

    Loads of damage? Give me a break

     

    Shadow tanks don't have loads of damage. I played my shadow in tank-spec-dps-gear for a while and it was pants. Single target damage is pathetic, the only burst you have is spinning strike when a target is under 30%, and only if that crits.

     

    Everyone in this thread has yet to figure out that if you interupt the heal, you win. Because I know shadow tanks, I relish the thought of fighting tanksins because they are so fecking easy to kill for me now! Once you guys figure that out, you'll stop whining so much about assassins and shadow tanks.

  13. Ist auch sehr sinnig, ein neues Spiel erst einmal kostenlos anzubieten. Oh wait... hast du ja, 30 Tage freie Spielzeit beim Kauf des Spiels.

     

    Ja kostenlos... also ich hab für mein Spiel 50 Euro bezahlt. In den Genuss der 30 Tage kam man eben nur, wenn man eine Subscription eingerichtet oder nen Code von ner Gametimecard eingegeben. Und ich finde es ist nicht in Ordnung, dass ich das gekaufte Produkt nicht erstmal soweit nutzen kann. Ich hab für 30 Tage bezahlt und kann diese nicht einmal spielen, wenn ich nicht weitere Monate ordere. Hast du das jetzt verstanden?

     

    Und ich habe gesagt, dass es ein tolles Spiel ist, warum also die Frage, wann mein MMO rauskommt.
